Double K Estates Introduce
If you are currently looking at "RV parks near me" in the Monroe, Louisiana area, you might also be exploring options for more permanent or long-term housing solutions. In this context, we would like to provide an introduction to Double K Estates, a mobile home park located at 2216 US-80 LOT 169, Monroe, LA 71203, USA.
It is important to provide an objective overview based on the available information. The online reviews for Double K Estates present a concerning picture regarding the living experience as reported by some former or current residents. These reviews highlight significant issues that potential residents should carefully consider.
One reviewer stated, "So far it’s Bull shit these people don’t fix shit and the pipes are old a/c unit went out on the first month🤬🤬🤬 horrible experience!" This feedback raises serious concerns about the responsiveness of the management to maintenance requests and the overall condition of the infrastructure within the park, specifically mentioning old pipes and issues with essential utilities like the air conditioning unit.
Another reviewer echoed these sentiments, stating, "Very horrible experience with the landlords and the pipes on the trailers are old so the trailers flood." This comment further emphasizes negative experiences with the landlords and corroborates the issue of old pipes, this time with the severe consequence of trailers flooding. Such reports suggest potentially significant habitability problems within the mobile homes at Double K Estates.
Based solely on the limited information available from these two reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive description of the environment, services, and features of Double K Estates in a positive light. The feedback strongly indicates potential issues with maintenance, infrastructure (specifically plumbing), and landlord responsiveness. These are critical factors for anyone considering long-term residency in a mobile home park.
Typically, a detailed introduction to a mobile home park would include information about the types of lots available, utility hookups, community amenities (such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or community centers), park rules and regulations, and the overall atmosphere of the community. However, the provided reviews do not offer any insights into these aspects of Double K Estates. Instead, they focus almost exclusively on negative experiences related to maintenance and infrastructure.
Given the severity of the issues raised in the reviews – lack of repairs, old and problematic pipes leading to flooding, and air conditioning failure – potential residents should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Double K Estates as a long-term living option. This due diligence might include attempting to contact current residents (if possible), visiting the property to assess its condition firsthand, and seeking clarification from the management regarding the issues raised in the online feedback.
It is crucial to acknowledge that online reviews represent individual experiences and may not be entirely representative of the entire community. However, the consistency in the negative feedback regarding maintenance and infrastructure in the available reviews is a significant red flag that cannot be ignored.
Therefore, in the context of someone searching for "RV parks near me" who might also be open to considering a longer-term stay in a mobile home park, the current information suggests that Double K Estates may not offer the stable and well-maintained living environment that prospective residents typically seek. The lack of positive feedback or information about amenities and community features further contributes to a cautious assessment.
If you are considering Double K Estates based on its location or other factors, it is strongly recommended that you contact the management at (318) 680-3021 or +1 318-680-3021 to inquire about the issues raised in the reviews and to get a clear understanding of their maintenance policies and the current condition of the properties. Visiting the location at 2216 US-80 LOT 169, Monroe, LA 71203, USA, and personally inspecting the premises would also be a crucial step in making an informed decision.
In conclusion, based on the limited and overwhelmingly negative feedback available, potential residents should approach Double K Estates with significant caution. The reported issues concerning lack of maintenance, old and faulty plumbing leading to flooding, and problems with essential utilities paint a concerning picture. While further investigation and direct communication with the management are essential to get a complete understanding, the current information does not allow for a positive or detailed introduction to the environment, services, or features of Double K Estates. It serves instead as a warning to potential residents to conduct thorough due diligence before considering this mobile home park for long-term living.

Jan 26, 2025 · DeAngel ReneeYou know. It's a quiet little neighborhood and all, but the groundskeeping and maintainable of the modular homes is very very poor. The roads leading into the neighborhood are torn to pieces "basically", and there is trash in every ditch, a good majority of the homes are "abandoned" with windows either boarded up or wide open.
