Azalea Garden Community Introduce
Are you currently searching for "RV parks near me" in the Monroe, Louisiana area? While your immediate need might be for temporary accommodation, it's also possible you're exploring longer-term residential options within the local community. In that context, we'd like to introduce you to Azalea Garden Community, a well-regarded mobile home park located at 400 Dolly Dr, Monroe, LA 71203, USA.
Azalea Garden Community distinguishes itself as a "well run and very quiet" mobile home park, according to its residents. This emphasis on tranquility and efficient management creates a stable and peaceful living environment, which is highly valued by those seeking a long-term place to call home. The commitment to good management suggests that the community is organized and responsive to the needs of its residents.
One of the notable features of Azalea Garden Community is the "Excellent support from staff." This indicates that residents can expect prompt and helpful assistance from the park's management, contributing to a positive and hassle-free living experience. Knowing that support is readily available can be a significant factor when choosing a long-term residential community.
For the safety and well-being of its residents, Azalea Garden Community requires "Background checks" for all prospective inhabitants. This policy helps to ensure a secure and respectful community environment, providing peace of mind to those who choose to live here. The implementation of such measures underscores the park's commitment to maintaining a safe living space for everyone.
In terms of affordability, Azalea Garden Community offers a relatively low monthly "Lot rent" of around $275. This makes it an attractive option for individuals and families seeking budget-friendly long-term housing in the Monroe area. The reasonable lot rent allows residents to manage their housing costs effectively while enjoying the benefits of community living.
To address waste management needs, Azalea Garden Community provides a convenient "Dumpster on site." Alternatively, residents have the option to "contract with Waste Management" individually, offering flexibility in how they manage their waste disposal. The availability of these options ensures that residents have accessible and manageable waste disposal solutions.
However, it's important to present a balanced perspective based on all available feedback. One resident, who has lived in the vicinity since 1987, raised a significant concern regarding the "speed bumps" within the community. They described the speed bumps as being "so big that they almost ripped the bottom of your car out despite how slow you're actually going." This resident reported multiple instances of their car "bottomed out" and expressed concern about potential damage to their vehicle. This is a critical piece of feedback regarding the infrastructure within the park that potential residents should be aware of.
The same long-term resident also expressed concerns about the overall neighborhood, stating, "...the actual neighborhood seems to be disappearing and being replaced with bad things..." They further suggested that "if anybody wants to really help make this neighborhood better then let's get some security cameras up and monitor people getting robbed I think that's a little bit more important." While this comment pertains to the broader neighborhood and not solely the mobile home park itself, it's a perspective from someone familiar with the area that might be relevant for those considering moving into the community.
It's crucial to differentiate between the feedback specifically about Azalea Garden Community (well-run, quiet, excellent staff, background checks, low lot rent, on-site dumpster) and the broader neighborhood concerns raised by the long-term resident. While the park itself appears to be well-managed and peaceful, potential residents may want to consider the surrounding neighborhood context as part of their decision-making process.
Despite the neighborhood concerns raised by one reviewer, the direct feedback about Azalea Garden Community highlights its positive attributes, including its management, quiet atmosphere, and affordability. The requirement of background checks suggests a commitment to resident safety, and the availability of waste disposal options adds to the convenience of living in the community.
For individuals and families seeking a stable and affordable long-term living situation in Monroe, LA, Azalea Garden Community presents itself as a potentially suitable option. The low lot rent, coupled with the reported excellent staff support and quiet environment, are significant advantages. However, prospective residents should be mindful of the concerns raised about the speed bumps within the park and consider the broader neighborhood context as described by a long-term resident.

Apr 10, 2024 · Tandi NicoleOkay I have lived down the street since 1987 and I have one complaint and that is that nobody should have speed bumps that are so big that they almost ripped the bottom of your car out despite how slow you're actually going I can't tell you how many times my car has bottomed out and I keep waiting for the day for something to get broken off. And I have to say that despite what others may say about how pretty it looks and how they brought all this that into the neighborhood, the actual neighborhood seems to be disappearing and being replaced with bad things so I think if anybody wants to really help make this neighborhood better then let's get some security cameras up and monitor people getting robbed I think that's a little bit more important

Mar 15, 2023 · James Kevin HarrisonThe picture tells the story. They regularly raise rent/prices while no additional "amenities" are received. Suggest going elsewhere.
Dec 11, 2015 · Brain MaysonLook this is a great place to live and the cost is very reasonable
