Falling Rock RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Oroville, California area, Falling Rock RV Park, located at 3454 CA-70, Oroville, CA 95965, USA, presents a mixed picture based on recent customer reviews. It is important to consider both the positive and negative feedback to make an informed decision about whether this RV park meets your needs for a short or long-term stay.
One reviewer, claiming to stay at Falling Rock RV Park for five months out of the year over the past 16 years, offers a strongly positive perspective. This long-term visitor describes the park as "very clean" and "quiet," contradicting negative claims made by another reviewer. They also explicitly state that they have "never seen anyone do drugs" at the park. Furthermore, this reviewer praises the woman who runs the park as an "amazing woman" and emphasizes the family-like atmosphere, noting that "Most of the tenants in this park have lived here for years." This long-standing positive experience suggests that for some, Falling Rock RV Park offers a welcoming and comfortable community.
However, a starkly contrasting review presents significant concerns about the safety and management of Falling Rock RV Park. This reviewer states that if they could give zero stars, they would. The primary complaints revolve around the behavior of the woman running the park's family members, specifically her daughter and son-in-law, who are reportedly staying at the park. These individuals are described as "extremely rude." The reviewer recounts a specific incident where the son-in-law allegedly yelled at the reviewer's wife for parking in front of their trailer while visiting, despite there being ample space. The reviewer also claims that people were "smoking meth outside the trailers," raising serious safety and legal concerns.
When these issues were reportedly brought to the attention of the woman running the park, the response provided was dismissive, with an excuse given for the son-in-law's behavior ("well he has toothaches"). The reviewer indicates that this was not an isolated incident of rude behavior from the son-in-law and also describes the daughter as having a "bad attitude." Based on these negative experiences, this reviewer strongly advises against staying at Falling Rock RV Park and recommends Berry Creek Rancheria RV Park and Feather Falls KOA as significantly better alternatives with "very friendly staff and great sites."
The conflicting nature of these two reviews highlights the importance of considering all available feedback and potentially seeking additional information before making a decision about Falling Rock RV Park. The positive review emphasizes cleanliness, a quiet atmosphere, a caring manager, and a long-term community feel. In contrast, the negative review raises serious allegations of rude and confrontational behavior from individuals associated with the management and concerning reports of drug use within the park.
Potential visitors should be aware of these conflicting accounts. The long-term positive experience suggests that some individuals have found Falling Rock RV Park to be a satisfactory place to stay. The negative review, however, presents significant red flags regarding the behavior of individuals associated with the management and potential safety issues related to alleged drug use. These are serious concerns that should not be overlooked.
Given the limited information available beyond these two contrasting reviews, it is difficult to form a comprehensive picture of the current environment, services, and features of Falling Rock RV Park. The positive review mentions cleanliness and a quiet atmosphere but does not elaborate on specific amenities or services offered. The negative review focuses primarily on behavioral and safety concerns, with no mention of the park's facilities or services.
Prospective visitors might consider contacting Falling Rock RV Park directly at the provided phone number, (530) 533-9070 or +1 530-533-9070, to inquire about their policies, security measures, and any recent changes in management or staff that might address the concerns raised in the negative review. It would also be prudent to ask about the typical clientele and the community environment to gauge whether it aligns with their expectations.
For those searching for "RV parks near me" for a family-friendly stay, the negative review's account of rude behavior towards the reviewer's wife and children is particularly concerning and warrants careful consideration. Similarly, the alleged drug use raises serious safety issues that may deter many potential visitors. While the positive review contradicts these claims, the stark contrast underscores the uncertainty surrounding the current conditions at Falling Rock RV Park.
In conclusion, Falling Rock RV Park in Oroville, CA, has received sharply contrasting reviews from recent visitors. One long-term guest praises its cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and caring management, highlighting a strong sense of community. Conversely, another reviewer reports extremely rude behavior from individuals associated with the management and alleges drug use within the park, strongly recommending against staying there. Given these conflicting accounts and the serious nature of the allegations in the negative review, prospective visitors should exercise caution and seek further information to determine if Falling Rock RV Park is a suitable and safe option for their travel needs. Exploring alternative "RV parks near me" in the Oroville area, such as the Berry Creek Rancheria RV Park and Feather Falls KOA mentioned in the negative review, might also be a prudent step.

Very clean, quiet park. I've never seen anyone do drugs. We have come to Falling Rock R.V Park, for over 16 years now. We get treated like family. Most of the tenants in this park, have lived here for years. We love it there, and highly recommend it.
Dec 16, 2018 · Becky PalosaariIf they had zero stars to give that's what I would have given. The woman running the place has her daughter and her son in law staying there. They are extremely rude. I had my wife and kids come visit me and my wife parked in front of the trailer and her son in law came out if his trailer and was yelling at her calling her names and telling his wife to hit our vehicle when there was more then enough room for them to enter and exit the space. People were smoking meth outside the trailers. We complained to the woman and she said well he has toothaches. That wasnt the first time her son in law yelled at us. Her daughter has a bad attitude also. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We've stayed at the Berry Creek Rancheria Rv Park and also the Feather Falls KOA we highly recommend them. Very friendly staff and great sites.
