Firetower RV Park Introduce
For individuals in search of "RV parks near me" within the Conroe, Texas vicinity, Firetower RV Park, situated at 15000 Firetower Rd, Conroe, TX 77306, USA, presents a location with both appealing aspects and considerable concerns, according to recent online reviews. The park can be contacted at (281) 713-5411 or via mobile phone at +1 281-713-5411. It is crucial for potential local users to consider all available feedback to form a comprehensive understanding of what this RV park offers and the potential challenges associated with it.
One reviewer describes Firetower RV Park as being in a "beautiful country setting" and notes that the "residents are friendly," contributing to a generally peaceful atmosphere "98% of the time." This suggests that the natural environment surrounding the park may be attractive to those seeking a more rural and tranquil experience. The friendly nature of the residents can also foster a sense of community among those staying at the park.
However, a significantly more critical review paints a concerning picture of Firetower RV Park. This reviewer states they "would give zero stars if possible," citing serious safety and management issues. The most alarming accusation is that the "manager pulled shotgun on a female tenant" and that the "owner did nothing about it." If substantiated, such an incident would raise severe safety concerns for all residents and potential visitors. This claim should be a significant point of consideration for anyone contemplating staying at this park.
The same critical review further alleges that the "management and owner are shady," without providing specific details beyond the shotgun incident. Additionally, concerns are raised about frequent "visitors in and out" who allegedly do not leave their vehicles, which could create an unsettling environment for some residents.
Financial aspects are also criticized, with the reviewer claiming that the park "gouges tenants on electricity charges." This suggests potential issues with billing transparency or unusually high utility costs compared to other RV parks. Prospective residents should inquire about the electricity billing system and typical charges before committing to a stay.
Infrastructure and maintenance appear to be significant problems, according to this negative review. The reviewer mentions that "water is always having problems, low water pressure," and alleges that the "manager messes with it and it gets worse." Furthermore, they claim that the management does not know how to care for the septic system, resulting in unpleasant odors ("it smells"). These issues could significantly impact the comfort and quality of life for residents.
The availability and quality of advertised amenities are also called into question. The reviewer states that "the internet advertised does not exist," which could be a major inconvenience for those who rely on internet access for work or personal use. Additionally, the presence of "lots of stray or Feral cats roaming around" might be a concern for individuals with allergies or those who prefer a pet-free environment unless the park has specific and well-managed pet policies.
Basic sanitation also seems to be an issue, with the reviewer noting that "the dumpsters are overflowing with trash." This suggests potential problems with waste management, which can lead to unsanitary conditions and attract pests.
Finally, the critical review casts doubt on the authenticity of positive feedback for Firetower RV Park. The reviewer suggests that "the good reviews I see on this place are fake," pointing out that "the good yelp reviews are all from California and we are a bit far from there to have so many visiting." They also claim to have primarily seen full-time residents rather than short-term "weekenders," contradicting any potential image of a vibrant tourist-friendly RV park. The reviewer concludes by questioning any "RV Park of the year award" that Firetower RV Park might have received, stating it is "not deserved" based on their experience.
Given the stark contrast between the limited positive feedback and the extensive and serious allegations in the negative review, local users searching for "RV parks near me" should exercise extreme caution when considering Firetower RV Park. While the "beautiful country setting" and potentially friendly residents might be appealing, the significant concerns raised about safety, management conduct, utility charges, infrastructure problems, lack of advertised amenities, and sanitation cannot be ignored.
There is no explicit promotional information available in the provided reviews. The one positive comment about the beautiful setting and friendly residents could be seen as an indirect endorsement of those specific aspects. However, the overwhelming negativity of the other review overshadows any potential promotional value.
Prospective residents or visitors are strongly advised to:
- Contact Firetower RV Park directly at (281) 713-5411 or +1 281-713-5411 to inquire about the specific issues raised in the negative review and to get the management's perspective.
- Request detailed information about safety protocols, utility billing, water and septic system maintenance, internet availability, pet policies, and waste management.
- If possible, visit the park in person to assess the conditions and speak with current residents (if willing) to get firsthand accounts of their experiences.
- Seek out more recent and verifiable reviews from a variety of sources to gain a broader understanding of the current state of the park.
In conclusion, while Firetower RV Park in Conroe, TX, may offer a peaceful setting and a sense of community among residents, serious allegations regarding safety, management practices, infrastructure, and amenities warrant significant caution. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should thoroughly investigate these concerns and weigh them carefully before making any decisions about staying at Firetower RV Park. The significant discrepancies in the provided feedback underscore the importance of conducting thorough due diligence.

Firetower RV Park Reviews
Needs improvements. Residents are friendly and it's peaceful 98% of the time. Beautiful country setting.
May 05, 2025 · Liane GoyetteWould give zero stars if possible. Not a SAFE place. Management and owner are shady. Manager pulled shotgun on a female tenant and owner did nothing about it. Manager has visitors in and out that don’t get out of vehicle. This place gouges tenants on electricity charges. Water is always having problems, low water pressure and manager messes with it and it gets worse. They don’t know how to care for septic so it smells. The internet advertised does not exist. Lots of stray or Feral cats roaming around. The dumpsters are overflowing with trash. The good reviews I see on this place are fake, the good yelp reviews are all from California and we are a bit far from there to have so many visiting. I have also not seen a weekender, it’s all full time people here. I’m not sure who votes on RV Park of the year award, but it is not deserved.
Aug 07, 2024 · Mindy SevenI just moved in. It has only been a few days and I am really liking it. Takes me back to my childhood, living in the country, hearing the crickets, owls and other wildlife. I feel I am home. The people here are the best. I had some problems with my camper when I moved in and they helped me, so much. Joy is such a great person, with such a positive attitude. Think I will be staying a while. Like I said ... feels like home, for this country girl.
Aug 11, 2022 · tina bI usually don’t leave reviews at RV parks but they were so kind and clean I couldn’t say no. I eould say coos bay was my favorite but now I have a new home over the summer. Thank you guys appreciate all your hard work, cleaning and making sure we made some good memories.
