Floral Village Mobile Home & RV park Introduce
Welcome to Floral Village Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 1608 W Baker St, Plant City, FL 33563, USA. If you are searching for 'RV parks near me' or considering a mobile home community in the Plant City area, Floral Village presents a mixed landscape of positive community interactions and serious concerns regarding the conduct of some staff members and the management's response to these issues. Situated in Hillsborough County, Plant City offers a blend of small-town charm and proximity to the Tampa Bay metropolitan area.
One positive review highlights the experience of a resident staying in their motorhome for medical reasons. This individual commends the manager, Tammie, stating, "Tammie, the manager, is awesome!! If we need to stay longer, we definitely would!" They also note the welcoming nature of the community, saying, "All the neighbors have been very kind & helpful." This suggests that Floral Village fosters a friendly and supportive environment among its residents, which can be a significant draw for those seeking a sense of community.
The same reviewer also provides insight into the park's evolution, mentioning, "This little park is or was a trailer park. Over the years, they have set up RV spots. We have enjoyed our time here." This indicates that Floral Village caters to both mobile homes and RVs, potentially offering a diverse community of long-term residents and temporary visitors. The fact that RV spots have been established over time suggests an adaptation to the changing needs of the RV traveling community.
However, a starkly contrasting review raises serious concerns about the safety and well-being of residents, particularly the elderly. This review alleges a significant issue with the behavior of a maintenance worker and the management's handling of complaints. According to this account, "Office personnel does not take complaints serious about their employees harassing and berating the elderly in this community." The reviewer further details a disturbing incident: "Unfortunately, we had to call the police on their maintenance worker who banged on my mothers door and harassed her. He approached her home drunk and belligerent."
The reviewer expresses ongoing fear and frustration due to the continued employment and presence of this individual near their mother's home, stating, "We are taking precautions to make sure it doesn’t happen again, but unfortunately he still is employed and and constantly is around her home causing emotional and mental anguish. She is in constant fear and office personnel ignores our concerns with a generic ‘We will talk with him.’ Response." The reviewer attributes this lack of action to a personal relationship between the maintenance worker and the property manager, Tammie: "He is still employed because he is dating the property manager Tammie. Just a warning to those who are considering moving here."
These conflicting reviews paint a complex picture of Floral Village Mobile Home & RV Park. While some residents experience positive interactions with management and enjoy a friendly community, others report serious safety and management response issues that prospective residents must consider carefully. The allegation of mishandled complaints, particularly those involving harassment and the well-being of elderly residents, is a significant concern that cannot be ignored.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of the services and features offered at Floral Village, it is crucial to contact them directly at (813) 752-2636 or +1 813-752-2636. Inquire about the specific amenities available for both mobile home and RV residents, such as utility hookups, laundry facilities, communal areas, and security measures. Understanding the park's policies regarding resident safety and complaint resolution is particularly important given the serious allegations raised in one of the reviews.
The environment of Plant City offers a more relaxed and community-oriented atmosphere compared to larger cities. Floral Village is located on W Baker St, which likely provides access to local amenities and services within Plant City. The surrounding area is known for its agricultural heritage and hosts the annual Florida Strawberry Festival, indicating a unique local culture. Residents might appreciate a quieter pace of life while still having access to essential conveniences.
From a promotional perspective, Floral Village could highlight the friendly neighborly atmosphere and the positive interactions some residents have had with the manager. The park's ability to accommodate both mobile homes and RVs might also be presented as a benefit, offering flexibility for different types of residents. However, in the interest of providing an objective introduction based on all available information, it is imperative to acknowledge the serious safety concerns and allegations of mishandled complaints raised by another resident. Prospective residents should weigh these factors carefully.
For those searching for 'RV parks near me' or a mobile home park in Plant City, Floral Village presents a situation where personal experiences appear to vary significantly. The positive feedback regarding community and manager approachability contrasts sharply with the negative feedback concerning employee conduct and management response to serious incidents. Potential residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the park, speaking with current residents (if possible), and directly addressing the concerns raised in the negative review with the management to seek clarification and understand the measures in place to ensure resident safety and address complaints effectively.
In conclusion, Floral Village Mobile Home & RV Park in Plant City, Florida, offers a community where some residents have experienced friendly neighbors and positive interactions with the manager. However, significant concerns have been raised regarding the conduct of a maintenance worker and the management's response to complaints, particularly those involving harassment and the safety of elderly residents. Prospective residents must be aware of these conflicting experiences and are strongly encouraged to conduct thorough investigations before making a decision about residing in this community. Contacting the park at (813) 752-2636 or +1 813-752-2636 for more information and to address the issues raised in the reviews is a critical step in the evaluation process.

Aug 26, 2023 · Joandy SThe only thing I really like is everything I need is close by, convenient, but I can not and will not let someone tell me who I can and cannot come and see me at my home so there for I am forced to move.but wait, did anyone see the rules and regulations or and forgot to tell about water plant next to the park, which smells so bad, I got rid of my grill soon after I moved here, seriously, and they do discriminate if you're a felon. People make mistakes, I'm not one, but I can't have someone who has made a mistake visit with me. Is This American.
Jun 24, 2024 · Mitchell RealeI have lived in this park for many a year. I never had any problems..sure you get the few that cause problems but that is everywhere. There are new managers here and they seem to want to help us and look out for us.The pool seems nice although i do not go. it seems as though they are trying to better the park and what i seen so far it seems they are doing a pretty good job so far. It is close to major highways and stores. I cant wait to see what is in store. As long as you follow rules and pay your rent its a great place. thank you for reading.
Mar 17, 2018 · A MI moved in with my rv a few days ago. It was my first time setting up. The manager.. I think his name was John. Helped me from beginning to end. Even giving me a few items I did not have. He also explained how the stuff worked. I am grateful for that!! The next day I gave him a well deserved tip for all his hard work and doing it in the rain. It is so quiet and peaceful here. Price is good too compared to some I looked at. Seems like they are doing major improvements here in the park too. They must care about there tenants.
