Located at 3 Dustin Dr, Swannanoa, NC 28778, USA, this community offers a residential setting for individuals and families looking for a quieter pace of life in the scenic surroundings of North Carolina.
Forrest Hills Mobile Home Community can be reached by phone at (828) 581-0429 or via mobile at +1 828-581-0429. While specific details about amenities and services directly offered by the park are not readily available online, we can glean some insights from the experiences shared by current and former residents. These firsthand accounts can be valuable in understanding the realities of living in this community.
Based on available feedback, the environment at Forrest Hills Mobile Home Community is generally perceived as quiet, with many residents describing a peaceful atmosphere. This can be a significant draw for those seeking a tranquil living environment away from the hustle and bustle of more densely populated areas. The presence of "lots of good families" suggests a community-oriented atmosphere, which can be appealing to those looking for a sense of belonging and neighborly connections.
However, it's important to consider some of the concerns raised by residents. A recurring issue highlighted in the reviews pertains to the reliability and quality of the water supply. Multiple reports indicate that water service has been frequently interrupted, sometimes lasting for days at a time. Additionally, residents have described instances of dirty water, with some experiencing water that appeared to be mixed with red clay mud. These issues with the water supply are significant and should be taken into consideration by prospective residents.
Another area of concern relates to the condition of the roads within the mobile home park. Residents have mentioned that the roads are in need of repair, with potholes causing wear and tear on vehicles. Interestingly, one review notes that rent was increased to fund road repairs in the previous year, yet the repairs had not been completed at the time of the review. This suggests a potential lack of timely maintenance and responsiveness to infrastructure needs within the community.
Furthermore, there are comments regarding increasing charges within the community. One former resident reported a significant rise in monthly costs over a relatively short period, despite the community being advertised as an affordable option. This individual also mentioned issues with water leaks being shared among tenants rather than being the responsibility of the landlord. Such experiences raise questions about the overall cost-effectiveness and management practices of Forrest Hills Mobile Home Community.
Considering these points, prospective residents searching for "RV Parks Near Me" or mobile home options in Swannanoa should weigh the reported quiet environment and family-friendly atmosphere against the concerns raised about infrastructure maintenance, water reliability, and increasing costs. It is advisable to conduct thorough due diligence, including contacting the management directly to inquire about the current status of the reported issues and to understand the services and amenities provided in detail.
When exploring "RV Parks Near Me" or mobile home communities, it's essential to look beyond the basic location and consider the quality of life offered. Factors such as utility reliability, infrastructure maintenance, community management responsiveness, and overall costs are crucial in making an informed decision. While Forrest Hills Mobile Home Community may offer a quiet setting and a sense of community, the reported issues with water service and road conditions are significant aspects that potential residents should carefully evaluate.
For those specifically searching within the "RV Parks Near Me" category, it's important to note that while mobile home communities cater to longer-term or permanent residents, some may also accommodate RVs on a longer-term basis. It would be beneficial to inquire directly with the management of Forrest Hills Mobile Home Community about their policies regarding RVs, including lot sizes, hookups, and any specific regulations for RV living, if that is your intended housing type.
In conclusion, Forrest Hills Mobile Home Community in Swannanoa, NC, offers a potentially quiet and community-oriented living environment. However, based on recent feedback, prospective residents should be aware of reported issues concerning water service interruptions, dirty water, road conditions, and increasing costs. It is strongly recommended to contact the management directly at (828) 581-0429 or +1 828-581-0429 for the most up-to-date information on services, amenities, and the current status of the concerns raised by previous residents. Visiting the community in person, if possible, can also provide valuable insights into the actual living conditions and overall atmosphere. When searching for "RV Parks Near Me" or long-term housing options, a comprehensive assessment of all available information is crucial to finding the right fit for your needs and preferences.

Forrest Hills Mobile Home Community Reviews
This has been an ongoing issue for 3 yrs or more about the water being turned off several times each month and sometimes for days. The water has been also very dirty. Have had it come out of my faucet like red clay mud. The roads need to be repaired. It is a lot of wear and tear on my vehicles with all the potholes. They also went up on the rent to repair the roads last year and still have not repaired them. They could at least fill in the potholes. Otherwise its quiet and lots of good families live here.
Feb 27, 2020 · Heather NocelotlHas been absolutely horrible. Landlord has yet to return any of my calls. Constantly upping the charges of the area even though they claim to be an affordable group. My house started out at around $800 a month now it’s over $1000. The water is constantly going out and any leaks are split among the tenants instead of the landlord paying for the repairs. Do Not come here for a home
May 28, 2020 · Jeremy HaynerThis trailer park is not a good place to live in, they make buttloads from lot rent and dont fix anything until its already broken, me and my family have been without water for the past day because they are fixing it and this seems to happen all the time cause of a water leak when they should just invest in new pipes for everyone. Not only this but some owners here are cruel towards animals and are very rude to others.
May 31, 2021 · david aguiluzThey are literally overpricing the monthly payment. And the roads aren’t paved and they don’t bother calling an animal patrol when there’s literally 3 bear cubs are roaming around this neighborhood. They also don’t bother cleaning up the trash after the bears done eating. And guess who have to pick it up. ME!?!? And they didn’t even pay us after doing it. And I swear, if my 1,200 monthly house payment goes up even more. I will literally beg my parents to move.
Aug 01, 2021 · Oscar Iraheta-velasco (Phosbat)Not worth the stress of renting. New managers all the time worse than previous, owners live out of state so it's not properly ran. Managers can post live video feed or will allow live feeds of your mobile home on social media sites. Not worth the stress..
