If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Whitney, Texas vicinity, Fox Run RV Living LLC presents itself as a potentially appealing option. Located at 3196 Farm to Market Rd 933, Whitney, TX 76692, USA, Fox Run RV Living can be contacted at (254) 266-3731 or +1 254-266-3731 for inquiries about availability and rates.
Based on recent customer feedback, it's important for prospective residents to be aware of some significant changes that have occurred at Fox Run RV Living. While it was previously known as a well-maintained and quiet 55+ adult community, new ownership approximately a year ago has brought about changes in the park's policies and upkeep.
One of the positive aspects highlighted in a recent review describes Fox Run RV Living as a "beautiful new RV park" that caters to the 55+ community. This review mentions several attractive features, including covered RV sites, each equipped with cement pads and a small shed for storage. The provision of covered sites is a notable advantage, offering protection from the elements and enhancing the comfort of residents, particularly during hot Texas summers or inclement weather.
Furthermore, the review praises the availability of a free laundromat on-site, a significant convenience for RVers, especially those on extended stays. The inclusion of free WiFi is another valuable amenity in today's connected world, allowing residents to stay in touch, work remotely, or enjoy online entertainment without incurring extra costs.
The reviewer also commends the "perfectly manicured gravel road," describing it as the finest they had encountered in 14 years of RVing. This suggests that at the time of that review, the infrastructure of the park was well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing, contributing to a positive living environment.
Regarding pricing, the review indicates that monthly rates are the standard, but a weekly rate is also available, offering flexibility for those with shorter-term needs. This information is crucial for individuals comparing "RV parks near me" based on their duration of stay.
However, it is essential to consider a more recent review that presents a contrasting perspective. This feedback suggests a decline in the park's condition and atmosphere following the change in ownership. The reviewer states that the property is "not kept up in anywhere near the same condition as before" and mentions the addition of more spots, potentially leading to increased density and less open space.
A significant change highlighted in the more recent review is the alteration of the community's age restriction. It is reported that Fox Run RV Living is "no longer a 55+ community," which may be a crucial factor for those specifically seeking an age-restricted environment. This change could also contribute to the perception that the park is "not nearly as peaceful as before," as the demographic and activity levels within the community may have shifted.
The reviewer concludes by describing the current state of the park as a "run of the mill, nothing special RV park," contrasting with its previously pristine condition and quiet atmosphere. This suggests that while some of the physical infrastructure, such as the covered sites and potentially the free amenities, may still be in place, the overall living experience might have changed.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Whitney, Texas, Fox Run RV Living LLC offers covered sites with cement pads and sheds, along with the convenience of a free laundromat and free WiFi. These features could still be attractive to many RVers. However, it is vital to be aware of the reported changes in ownership, maintenance standards, the removal of the 55+ age restriction, and the potential impact on the peacefulness of the community.
Prospective residents are strongly encouraged to contact Fox Run RV Living directly at (254) 266-3731 or +1 254-266-3731 to inquire about the current condition of the park, the availability of amenities, the current resident demographic, and the latest rates. It may also be beneficial to visit the park in person, if possible, to assess whether it meets your individual needs and expectations based on the most recent conditions and atmosphere.
While the earlier positive review paints a picture of a well-maintained and amenity-rich 55+ community, the more recent feedback indicates a shift in these aspects. Therefore, a thorough and up-to-date inquiry is crucial for anyone considering Fox Run RV Living LLC as their next RV destination in the Whitney, Texas area. Please note that no specific promotional information was available in the provided reviews.

Fox Run RV Living LLC Reviews
A beautiful new RV park for the 55+ community. Every site is covered (!) with cement pads plus a small shed. Free laundromat (!) and of course free wifi. Perfectly manicured gravel road is the finest I've seen in 14 years of RVing. Monthly rates are the norm but they do have a weekly rate.
Jun 12, 2021 · Rob RosenbergerThis used to be a great/quiet 55+ adult community and was always kept in pristine condition. However, when the new, absentee owners took over about a year or so ago the place was not kept up in anywhere near the same condition as before. Added more spots and changed the policy so it is no longer a 55+ community. Not nearly as peaceful as before, just a run of the mill, nothing special RV park.
