Foxwood Village Introduce
Located in Stafford, Virginia, Foxwood Village offers a long-standing residential community at 7 Foxwood Dr, Stafford, VA 22556, USA. For individuals searching within the platform category of "RV parks near me," while Foxwood Village primarily serves as a residential mobile home community, its established neighborhood feel and community atmosphere may appeal to those seeking a more permanent or semi-permanent living situation with a sense of belonging. The park's history and resident feedback provide insights into its unique characteristics.
According to a long-term resident who has lived in Foxwood Village for over 20 years, the neighborhood is generally "pretty quiet for the most part" and boasts a significant number of children, creating a family-friendly environment. This resident also highlights the friendly nature of the community, noting that occasional parties are seen as a normal part of neighborhood life, where residents can enjoy such events without issues. This positive feedback suggests a community where neighbors are generally accepting and where a sense of camaraderie exists.
However, it is important to consider all available feedback. Another recent review presents a contrasting experience, detailing issues with the return of a security deposit after moving out. This review alleges delays in receiving the deposit, along with a charge for an additional month's rent after the resident had vacated the property. The reviewer indicates plans to dispute these charges with their bank, describing the situation as "ridiculous." This negative feedback points to potential concerns regarding the management's handling of financial matters related to former residents.
Given the available information, Foxwood Village appears to be a community with a strong sense of neighborhood, appreciated by long-term residents for its quiet atmosphere and family-friendly environment. The presence of many children suggests a vibrant and active community. The positive review indicates a generally friendly atmosphere where social gatherings are not uncommon and are tolerated within the neighborhood. For those exploring "RV parks near me" with an interest in a more settled community, the long-term residency and positive neighborhood feedback of Foxwood Village could be appealing.
However, the negative review regarding deposit and rental charges should be carefully considered by prospective residents. It raises potential concerns about the management's administrative practices and financial interactions with residents, particularly those moving in or out. It is advisable for anyone considering residency at Foxwood Village to thoroughly inquire about the deposit process, lease terms, and move-out procedures to ensure a clear understanding of the community's policies.
The location in Stafford, Virginia, offers residents access to various local amenities. Stafford is situated in Northern Virginia and provides a mix of suburban and rural settings. Residents of Foxwood Village can likely benefit from proximity to shopping centers, grocery stores, schools, and recreational areas within Stafford County. The area offers a more relaxed pace of life compared to the immediate Washington D.C. suburbs while still providing access to essential services and employment opportunities in the broader region.
For families, the presence of "kids galore" as mentioned in the positive review suggests a community that is welcoming to children and likely offers opportunities for social interaction among young residents. This can be a significant advantage for families with children seeking a neighborhood with playmates and a family-oriented atmosphere.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Foxwood Village, prospective residents are strongly encouraged to contact the park management directly at (540) 659-4725 or +1 540-659-4725. Speaking with the management will provide the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding lot availability, lease agreements, community rules and regulations, and any specific services or amenities offered within the park. It would also be prudent to inquire specifically about the deposit and move-out processes, referencing the recent negative feedback to understand the management's perspective and policies.
In conclusion, Foxwood Village in Stafford, Virginia, presents a mixed picture based on the limited available reviews. Long-term residents seem to appreciate its quiet neighborhood atmosphere and family-friendly environment. However, a recent negative experience regarding financial transactions highlights the importance of thorough due diligence for potential new residents. While not strictly an "RV park," its community aspect may appeal to those seeking a more permanent living situation within the broader category of residential options. Interested individuals should contact the management directly to obtain detailed information and address any potential concerns before making a decision about residency at Foxwood Village.

I've lived here over 20 years ...I love the neighborhood...its pretty quite for the most part ...kids galore here ...occasional party but that means we all can have one ...without issues ...very friendly ♥
Dec 05, 2020 · annemarie jonesIt’s been a month since I’ve moved and I still haven’t received the deposit back. They want the rent every month but can’t give the deposit back in time. They also charged me another months rent and I don’t live there anymore?! They charged me?! I’m taking this up with the bank and making a dispute. This is ridiculous.
Nov 02, 2023 · Oscar BenavidezThis is a very safe and quiet neighborhood where clean streets and well maintained homes would be some of the first things you will notice. Since 2018 the Community was completely updated with new paved roads, new signage, improved school bus stops for the kids to be safer and guarded from weather, playgrounds renovation, etc. Super convenient to all major grocery stores, commuter lot and even I95 and HOV lanes access. In general, rent is about half of what you would pay anywhere in Stafford for an average 2 bedroom apartment, water is not metered and trash removal is included in your monthly rent for your convenience.
Aug 13, 2019 · Gus BlancoThe people here are literally thieves i cant believe hoe people can live in this environment
Jan 11, 2025 · Jason YTManagement seems to be more concerned with the front of the part then most of the back. They closed the basketball court because of "suspected drug dealings" at night, most of the playgrounds are closed or the up keep is not there, splinters from all the kids jungle gyms.If you want to have a garden you must receive Pre-approval and hand in a sketch of what you will be doing and no trees??Parking is a Nightmare now, you are only to have 2 vehicles, and no professional vehicles, but there is no management enforcement. And yet you'll be the first to get a letter if you lawn is not cut, your garden has weeds or your trimming isn't done, your charged a fee for it 25$ each time you get a notice.Every November the lot rent goes up by 15 dollars, and if you don't like it you have 30 days to Move. You pay for water, trash and on top of lot rent now, so fees all together run about 600$ a month with no True benefits from the development itself. The cable company was kicked out a few years ago from the development and you have to use Satellite now, cost more!
