Hidden Valley Mobile Home Community Introduce
If you are currently searching for "RV parks near me" in the Stafford, Virginia area, Hidden Valley Mobile Home Community, located at 76 Draper Cir, Stafford, VA 22554, USA, is a manufactured home community that could potentially accommodate recreational vehicles for extended periods. You can contact them at (540) 659-3111 or +1 540-659-3111 to inquire about their policies and availability for RVs.
When considering "RV parks near me," the environment, amenities, and community management are crucial aspects to evaluate. Customer reviews for Hidden Valley Mobile Home Community offer a somewhat contrasting perspective on these factors. One reviewer who grew up there in the 1980s recalls "loved it" and describes "Best memories of childhood tho." However, they also express skepticism about the current appearance based on online pictures, suggesting they might be very new and potentially misleading. They recommend seeing the property in person for an accurate assessment of its current state.
A more detailed, recent review provides insights into the community's upkeep and amenities but raises concerns about the management and neighborly relations. This reviewer notes that "This community is very well kept," highlighting the presence of a "pool, park club house, ball field nice for the kids." They also mention that the management "pretty much stay on top of keeping the place cleaned up" and encourage residents to maintain their lots. These points suggest a community that values its appearance and provides some family-friendly amenities.
However, the same reviewer expresses significant concerns regarding the management structure and effectiveness. They state that "Management is not the best" because the on-site manager has limited decision-making authority without the owner, who is described as being in the office infrequently, "maybe 2-3 times a month." This infrequent presence of the owner is said to make it "not always easy to get in to see" the manager due to other responsibilities. This suggests potential challenges in promptly addressing issues that require owner approval and limited accessibility to management.
Furthermore, this detailed review raises serious concerns about the handling of neighborly disputes and safety. The reviewer advises that if you are looking for a place where management will "take care of and protect you from unruly neighbors or people who visit people here this is not the place." They allege that long-term residents seemingly have more leeway in their behavior, and newcomers might face negative repercussions for complaints. The reviewer goes as far as to claim that "harrassing and dangerous threats to your kids do not matter if you are the newbie," advising new residents to "just stay to yourself mind your business and teach your kids how to have tough skin." While acknowledging that "Not all in the neighborhood are bad" and that there are "A lot of good kids and good people," this feedback paints a concerning picture of potential social dynamics and management intervention in neighborly issues.
Despite these serious concerns, the reviewer concludes by stating, "But the community itself is nice and decent," seemingly referring to the physical environment and amenities. This highlights the mixed nature of the feedback, with positives regarding the community's physical attributes contrasted by significant negatives concerning management and social dynamics.
As Hidden Valley Mobile Home Community is primarily a manufactured home community, its services and features are likely geared towards long-term residents in manufactured homes. However, if they do accommodate RVs for extended stays, you might expect some basic infrastructure necessary for residential living, such as:
- **Utility Hookups:** If RVs are permitted, it's likely that individual sites would offer connections for water, sewer, and electricity. It is vital to confirm the specifics of these hookups, including electrical amperage and the type of water and sewer connections, directly with the management.
- **Road Access:** The community would have internal roads to provide access to the individual lots.
- **Waste Disposal:** The community will have provisions for trash and waste management, and you should understand the procedures for RV residents.
- **Amenities:** The review mentions a pool, park, and clubhouse, which might be accessible to RV residents. However, it is crucial to confirm the availability and any restrictions on the use of these amenities for RV guests. The presence of a ball field suggests some recreational facilities.
It is important to note that amenities commonly found in dedicated RV parks catering to short-term travelers, such as laundry facilities or communal restrooms and showers designed for transient guests, might not be the primary focus in a mobile home community. You will need to specifically inquire about the availability of such amenities.
If you are considering Hidden Valley Mobile Home Community as a potential "RV park near me" for a longer-term stay, it is crucial to ask specific questions to the management, including:
- **RV Accommodation Policy:** Does Hidden Valley Mobile Home Community permit RVs for long-term residency? Are there specific sites designated for RVs, or are RVs placed on standard mobile home lots?
- **Site Specifications and Utilities for RVs:** What are the dimensions of the available sites suitable for RVs? What type and capacity of utility hookups are provided (water, sewer, electricity)? Are there individual meters for utility usage?
- **Lease Terms and Rates for RV Residents:** What are the terms of a lease agreement for RV residents? What are the monthly rates, and what is included in the rent? Are there any additional fees or security deposits required? How are utilities billed?
- **Community Rules and Regulations for RV Residents:** What are the specific rules and regulations that would apply to RV residents? This could include parking guidelines, noise restrictions, pet policies, and any other community standards. It would be particularly important to inquire about rules regarding neighborly conduct and the process for addressing disputes.
- **Access to Amenities for RV Residents:** What amenities within the community (pool, park, clubhouse, ball field) are accessible to RV residents? Are there any restrictions on their use? What are the operating hours and any associated fees?
- **Management Availability and Responsiveness:** Inquire about the typical availability of the on-site manager and the process for contacting the owner for issues requiring their decision.
- **Safety and Security:** Ask about any security measures in place within the community.
The location at 76 Draper Cir in Stafford, VA, places Hidden Valley Mobile Home Community in a suburban area of Northern Virginia, within commuting distance of Washington D.C. This location likely offers access to a range of urban amenities, employment opportunities, and cultural attractions. However, it is also important to consider the potential for higher living costs and traffic congestion compared to more rural areas. Researching the immediate vicinity for services relevant to RV living would also be beneficial.
In conclusion, if you are searching for "RV parks near me" in Stafford, VA, for a potentially long-term stay, Hidden Valley Mobile Home Community offers a community with some appealing amenities. However, the significant concerns raised in the detailed customer review regarding management limitations and potential issues with neighborly conduct should not be overlooked. A personal visit to the property would be highly recommended to assess the current environment and the suitability of the community for your needs, especially considering the conflicting feedback.

Hidden Valley Mobile Home Community Reviews
Well I grew up here in the 80s.Loved it but I would be a little sus of the pics in here. Looks sketch because that would have to be very new. 😂😂 Not saying what it is? But I would see it in person. 😂😂Best memories of childhood tho. 🥰
Apr 11, 2024 · Red ButeoThis community is very well kept, pool, park club house, ball field nice for the kids. They pretty much stay on top of keeping the place cleaned up and stay on some to keep their lots cleaned up. Management is not the best. The manager has no say in what goes on here without talking to the owner who will make the desicions when she chooses to come into the office maybe 2-3 times a month. With the only office personnel being the manager its not always easy to get in to see her if she has court or errands for this place. So if you are looking for a place that the office is open with someone in there always this is not the place. If you are looking for a place that will take care of and protect you from unruely neighbors or people who visit people here this is not the place. BC apparently those that live her the longest can do what they want when they want and you being the newbie will pay the price... Not all in the neighborhood are bad. A lot of good kids and good people. However be very careful who you befriend and what you tell them or share with them, and don't piss them off even if u are not in the wrong you will be made out to be the horrible bunch no matter how much evidence you have. Apparently harrassing and dangerous threats to your kids do not matter if you are the newbie.... So just stay to yourself mind your business and teach your kids how to have tough skin... But the community itself is nice and decent...
Nov 20, 2015 · Melissa LeeI visited the mobile home park yesterday. The office manager was very professional. She was compassionate and caring to the tenants. The mobile home park was very clean. I was extremely impressed.
Nov 04, 2022 · laverne tyreeI live here it's great 👍
Nov 11, 2024 · Jessy MarieStafford's nicest, best maintained and managed manufactured housing community. Hands on management/ownership stays well involved with the day to day operations of the community and understands the importance of investing in it's infrastructure, facilities and amenities. Community features an up to date swimming pool and recently renovated clubhouse with lot rental rates lower than most MH parks with none of the amenities.
