Mountain View MHC Introduce
Seeking 'RV parks near me' in the West Valley City, Utah area? Mountain View MHC, located at 2771 S 2670 W, West Valley City, UT 84119, presents itself as a mobile home community that might also accommodate long-term RV residents. While the primary focus of such communities is typically on mobile homes, they can sometimes offer spaces suitable for RVs seeking an extended stay within a community environment. To gain a comprehensive understanding of Mountain View MHC, it's essential to consider its environment, potential services, features, and recent feedback from residents.
The environment of Mountain View MHC likely consists of individual lots designed to accommodate mobile homes. These lots typically include utility hookups for water, electricity, and sewage. The park would also feature internal roadways for residents to navigate the community. While specific details regarding landscaping, communal areas, or recreational facilities are not provided in the given information, mobile home parks often offer basic common area maintenance. For individuals considering this as one of the 'RV parks near me,' understanding the specific layout and amenities available for RV residents would require direct inquiry with the management.
In terms of services, mobile home parks generally provide essential services such as waste disposal and maintenance of common grounds. On-site management is usually available to address resident concerns and oversee the park's operations. However, the provided customer reviews raise significant concerns about the management at Mountain View MHC. One detailed review expresses "deep dissatisfaction" with the behavior of the manager, Alyssa Pavlin, describing it as "rude, unprofessional, and insensitive." The reviewer alleges experiencing "denigration, possible racial discrimination, and a serious injustice" during the application process to purchase a mobile home. The application was reportedly denied with a vague and unsupported reason, leading the applicant to feel subjected to "arbitrariness, discrimination, and unethical decision-making." This serious accusation warrants careful consideration for any potential resident.
Another review from a current resident who owns their trailer highlights issues with increasing space rent and a lack of clarity or respect regarding payment terms under new ownership. The resident mentions an "outrageous" rent and the imposition of late fees and service charges due to a change in the rent due date that was not clearly communicated or aligned with previous arrangements. This suggests potential issues with communication and fairness in the park's administrative practices.
Features of mobile home communities often include a sense of long-term residency and community among neighbors. However, the negative experiences shared in the reviews raise questions about the actual community environment and the responsiveness of the management to resident concerns. Potential residents should be aware of these reported issues and consider how they might impact their living experience.
Given the serious negative feedback concerning the management and administrative practices at Mountain View MHC, providing standard promotional information would be misleading without further context or clarification from the park management. Individuals searching for 'RV parks near me' who might be considering Mountain View MHC for a long-term stay are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution. Thorough due diligence is essential, including visiting the park, attempting to speak with current residents about their experiences, and carefully reviewing all terms and conditions before making any commitment. It would also be prudent to inquire specifically about policies and procedures related to RV residents, if applicable, and to understand the management's approach to resident relations.
For those specifically seeking short-term RV parks with typical amenities like recreational facilities, laundry services, and organized activities, Mountain View MHC, based on the available information, may not be the most suitable option. Its nature as a mobile home community suggests a focus on longer-term residency rather than transient stays. Therefore, exploring other dedicated RV parks in the West Valley City area that cater to short-term or flexible stays might be more appropriate for those needs.
In conclusion, while Mountain View MHC is located in West Valley City and may offer long-term spaces suitable for RVs, the serious allegations of discriminatory behavior and poor management practices raised in recent resident reviews are significant red flags. Potential residents searching for 'RV parks near me' and considering Mountain View MHC should conduct extensive personal research and seek further information to make an informed decision about whether this community aligns with their needs and expectations for a safe, respectful, and well-managed living environment.

Mountain View MHC Reviews
To whom it may concern,I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the treatment I received from the manager Alyssa Pavlin at your park. Without a doubt, this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.During the application process to purchase a mobile home in this community, the manager demonstrated rude, unprofessional, and insensitive behavior. Most concerning is that I felt I was subjected to denigration, possible racial discrimination, and a serious injustice. Despite meeting all the required qualifications, my application was denied without a clear explanation or evidence-based reasoning. The only justification given was: "applicant was unable or unwilling to keep all park rules", which is vague, subjective, and lacks logical support when no specific facts are provided. This lack of transparency contributes to a perception of arbitrariness, discrimination, and unethical decision-making in your approval process. This kind of treatment is not only unfair, but it also creates a negative and discriminatory experience for people like myself who are simply seeking decent and stable housing.I demand that this incident be thoroughly investigated and that corrective actions be taken to ensure other applicants do not go through a similar situation. Furthermore, I want to make it clear that I will pursue this matter to the fullest extent in order to be heard. I will be contacting the appropriate agencies and civil rights organizations to ensure my rights as a citizen are upheld and respected.I look forward to your prompt response and thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
Apr 29, 2025 · joddy bastidasI own my trailer, and my space rent is outrageous. My rent was set up to be taken out on the 5th day of the month, years ago, ( by manager at the time.) since then we have had 3 other managers, plus 1. Which is now the new Landlord. The first time rent is due under the new Landlord, and I have a late fee, service charges, and maybe more. The new Landlord said rent is due by the 3rd. Is this the way that tenants are treated?????????
Oct 09, 2024 · Don RandallMountain View is a very clean, safe park to raise a family. AS an investor I have worked with this property many times. The management staff is very helpful and speedy at getting the applications processed. The are very friendly to their home owners. The militance staff is amazing and does a great job keeping the grounds neat and clean.
