Green Pines Housing Community Introduce
Welcome to a comprehensive overview of Green Pines Housing Community, a mobile home park located at 112 Drum St, Como, NC 27818, USA. While the 'RV Parks Near Me' category typically suggests short-term recreational stays, many mobile home parks, like Green Pines, serve as long-term residential communities for manufactured homes. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective insight into the community's environment, services, features, and some of the varied experiences reported by residents, based on publicly available information.
Como, North Carolina, where Green Pines Housing Community is situated, is a small town in Hertford County, offering a rural and quiet environment. The area is characterized by its agricultural landscapes, with fields and wooded areas contributing to a peaceful, country living atmosphere. This setting can appeal to those seeking a slower pace of life, away from the hustle and bustle of larger urban centers. The specific visual environment within Green Pines Housing Community itself would typically include a layout of individual mobile home lots, often with some green space, trees, and communal areas, though detailed descriptions of these visual elements are not widely available. For individuals searching 'RV Parks Near Me' for extended stays or permanent residency, the natural setting of Como offers a serene backdrop.
When considering services at a mobile home park, residents typically expect essentials such as lot rentals, access to utilities (water, sewer, electricity), and maintenance of common areas. Specific details regarding the amenities and services provided by Green Pines Housing Community beyond basic lot rentals are not extensively publicized. However, based on the nature of mobile home parks, it is reasonable to assume that residents are responsible for their individual utility connections and bills, while the park management oversees the infrastructure of the community. The provided customer reviews touch upon various aspects related to management and living conditions, which implicitly speak to the services rendered or, in some cases, the perceived lack thereof.
The features of Green Pines Housing Community, as gleaned from the customer reviews, paint a complex picture of its living environment and community dynamics. One resident expresses immense satisfaction, highlighting the positive interactions with both the lot owner and their landlord. This individual describes the management as "amazing," "very laid-back and kind," and praises their helpfulness and welcoming attitude towards children, creating a comfortable, family-like atmosphere. This review suggests a community where residents feel supported and valued, and where the management is responsive to questions and concerns, positively impacting daily life. The sentiment of finding relief from a "horrible situation" and experiencing a life-changing positive shift underscores the significant impact that supportive and kind management can have on residents.
Conversely, another review presents a starkly different and concerning perspective on the community and its management. This feedback alleges that the park is a difficult place to rent from or do business with, citing serious safety concerns such as "shooting on the regular" and stating that "people's lives are in danger." Furthermore, this review mentions issues with "septic tanks backed up" and threats of eviction if residents report these problems to the health department. The inability to communicate directly with the owner and alleged increases in rent and other fees are also highlighted as significant concerns. This resident claims that people living in the community are "scared to speak up and out because they are constantly being threatened with scare tactics and legalities thrown in their face." The review concludes with an assumption that these issues might be racially motivated, stating "I'm assuming it's because it's a black community."
These contrasting reviews highlight a polarized perception of Green Pines Housing Community. For individuals exploring 'RV Parks Near Me' for long-term placement, or for those seeking a permanent mobile home residence, these varying accounts are critical to consider. The stark difference in experiences suggests that potential residents should undertake thorough due diligence, perhaps by visiting the community, speaking with current residents if possible, and verifying any claims regarding safety or service provision directly with relevant local authorities or current tenants. It underscores that while one individual may have a very positive experience, another may face significant challenges. An objective assessment requires acknowledging both positive experiences of kindness and support, and serious allegations of safety hazards, poor maintenance, and questionable management practices.
In terms of promotional information for the 'RV Parks Near Me' category, Green Pines Housing Community, if one were to focus on the positive aspects, could be promoted as a family-friendly mobile home park that offers an affordable and comfortable rural living experience in Como, NC. It might appeal to those seeking a tight-knit community feel, where children are welcomed and where management is perceived as approachable and supportive. The quiet, country environment of Como would also be a selling point for those looking to escape urban noise and pollution. The potential for a supportive and accommodating landlord, as described in the positive review, could be a significant draw for families and individuals seeking stability and kindness in their living situation.
However, an objective presentation also necessitates acknowledging the reported challenges. For potential residents, it is important to be aware of the severe concerns raised in the negative review regarding safety, sanitation issues, and management practices. Prospective residents should be advised to investigate these allegations independently before making any long-term commitments. This might involve checking local crime statistics for the area, inquiring with the Hertford County Health Department about any reported issues related to septic systems, and perhaps seeking legal counsel to understand tenant rights and responsibilities in North Carolina mobile home parks. The importance of clear communication regarding rent, fees, and lease agreements cannot be overstated, especially in light of the reported increases and alleged scare tactics.
In conclusion, Green Pines Housing Community in Como, NC, offers a residential option for mobile homes in a rural setting. Its environment provides a quiet, country lifestyle. Based on resident feedback, the services and features are subject to widely differing experiences. While some residents report highly positive interactions with supportive and kind management, others raise serious concerns about safety, sanitation, and alleged unfair practices. For those searching 'RV Parks Near Me' with a view towards long-term residency, it is paramount to conduct comprehensive personal research to ascertain if Green Pines Housing Community aligns with their expectations for a safe, well-maintained, and respectfully managed living environment.

Green Pines Housing Community Reviews
So far I have dealt with The lot owner and My Landlord and They have both been amazing! Answered every question I had. Dealt with my crazy little child the whole time they were very laid-back and kind. These are the kind of people you want to be around and you would feel comfortable around almost like family. I can’t wait to be part of this community long term. My daughter and my son felt very comfortable around there. They are excepting of children. They are kind to them. You could not ask for more. I am at a loss for words honestly and about how amazing these people have been to me in such a short amount of time. And I’m not just saying this to say it. I have been in a horrible situation for a long time and they are making my life so much easier I’m gonna say that they’re changing it. And they’re kind and want to help me. Thank you Gerald Jenn and Craig !!!!!!!!!!
Nov 11, 2022 · Amy LambThese are the worst people to rent from or do business with. This place has shooting on the regular, people lives are in danger. Individuals have to deal with septic tanks backed up and threatened to be put out if they report it to the health department. You can never hear from the owner himself. The rent and other fees have increased. It's a sad situation. The people living out here are scared to speak up and out because they are constantly being threatened with scare tactics and legalities thrown in their face. It's ridiculous they have to go through this and I'm assuming it's because its a black community.
