Franklin Farms Mobile Home Community is situated in Franklin, Virginia, a town known for its serene atmosphere. The community is described as a quiet and secluded area, offering off-street parking for residents. While official information regarding specific environmental amenities within the park itself is limited, the broader Franklin area offers a mix of rural charm and access to essential services. Mobile home parks, by their nature, generally provide a more open and less densely populated living environment compared to traditional apartments or subdivisions. Homes within the community are often situated on leased land, with the lease amount being a factor in the overall monthly cost. The area around Franklin, VA, is characterized by its tranquil setting, with typical small-town features. It's important to note that publicly available reviews suggest a perception of the community's overall upkeep and safety by some residents, with concerns raised about the living conditions and security within the park.
As a mobile home community, Franklin Farms offers spaces for individuals to own or rent manufactured homes. While detailed lists of on-site services are not extensively publicized, typical services in such communities include lot leases for homeowners and potentially rental options for pre-owned manufactured homes. Some available listings for homes within Franklin Farms indicate that lots are rented from the park, with the monthly rent typically covering the space and not necessarily all utilities. Services generally provided by mobile home park management encompass maintaining common areas and managing the lease agreements. It's important for prospective residents to clarify which utilities (e.g., water, sewer, electric) are included in the lot rent and which are the resident's responsibility. Customer feedback, however, points to significant concerns regarding the responsiveness and effectiveness of park management in addressing critical maintenance issues, specifically citing prolonged problems with septic tank overflow. This suggests that the level of service provided by the current management may be a point of consideration for potential residents.
Franklin Farms Mobile Home Community primarily features spaces for manufactured homes, catering to an all-age community. Available homes within the community have included pre-owned manufactured homes, some with features such as 2 bedrooms and 1 or 2 bathrooms, and varying square footage. Specific features of the homes themselves would depend on the individual unit, but manufactured homes generally offer customizable interiors and often include amenities like kitchens, living areas, and multiple bedrooms. Some listings highlight features such as driveways for parking. The community's main characteristic is providing an affordable pathway to homeownership through manufactured homes, with the land being leased rather than owned outright. It's important to differentiate between the features of individual homes and the features of the community itself. Based on resident feedback, the community is reported to lack common recreational amenities such as pools, trampolines, or designated play areas for children. There have also been serious allegations concerning safety within the community, including instances of firearms being brandished.
For individuals searching within the "RV Parks Near Me" platform category, it's crucial to understand that Franklin Farms Mobile Home Community primarily functions as a long-term residential mobile home park, not a transient RV park. While some mobile home parks may offer short-term RV spaces, Franklin Farms is marketed as a place for permanent residence for manufactured home owners or renters. Therefore, if your search on "RV Parks Near Me" is for a temporary stay or a recreational vehicle hook-up, Franklin Farms Mobile Home Community may not be the appropriate fit. Its promotional information centers on the affordability of homeownership and the community aspect of mobile home living. For those specifically looking to purchase or long-term rent a manufactured home and seeking a community environment in Franklin, VA, Franklin Farms could be a consideration. Prospective residents are encouraged to contact the community directly at (757) 562-2800 to inquire about current home availability, lot lease terms, and to schedule a tour. It is strongly advised that anyone considering residency thoroughly investigate the community's current conditions and management practices, perhaps by speaking with current residents, given the serious concerns raised in public reviews regarding maintenance, safety, and management responsiveness. While some promotions might highlight its convenience to local shopping, schools, and recreational activities in the broader Franklin area, direct on-site amenities within the park appear limited based on available information.

Feb 03, 2025 · Savagegirl45 Ak47My mom is Disabled she’s lived out here for 7-8 years/owns her mobile home and can’t walk she has medical records stating she has medical issues. The passed two years has been nothing but a total wreck since they have came into office. She can’t even park close to the door/ grass with her medical issue. It’s discrimination at this point because they are violating her on various things that other people are doing with no violation and that was confirmed by the other residence that stay here.. My children can’t even come visit her for the weekends because she had to get rid of all the toys that were in the front yard. The new management is very rude, there’s multiple rumors going around stating she brandished a firearm on various residences also involving her husband in park management business. She was fired from Beaverbrook mobile home park in isle of Wright. Teenagers walking/ riding around with firearms brandishing them. There’s multiple times when I drove my car by and they pointed guns at my vehicle with my children in the car. My fiancé and my family were coming in the park by the main office and someone started shooting at the car repeatedly. There’s no way to contact a supervisor or anyone other than her. My mom’s called the other number that’s given out and nobody’s responding. She’s even asked her for a number and she won’t give one. Too many negative things and problems for me to keep going. Don’t waste your time coming here it’s not with the hassle.
Jan 26, 2025 · Amber RiffelHey I have been living in this trailer park a long time and I pay my rent ever month and I have been trying to get the park to pump my septic tank for almost a week now because it is back up in my tubs and I can't take a shower and I can send pictures for proof so I need something done soon before we take this to the next level I work and need to shower because I shower everyday and I have kids here

They say one thing to you then lie its horrible and I can't even get my trailer sold because nobody can get approved. Its crazy and they are very disrespectful to u. And they seem high all the time. The office smells like weed. The woman in the office is very rude and makes fun of disabled people
