Guernsey Lake Mobile Home Community Introduce
Guernsey Lake Mobile Home Community, situated at 311 Lakeside Dr, Delton, MI 49046, USA, offers a residential option in the Delton area. For local users exploring housing solutions, including those who might be searching under the category of "RV parks near me" for broader community living environments, Guernsey Lake presents itself as a mobile home community with lakeside proximity.
However, the limited customer reviews available online present a concerning picture of the community, particularly regarding management and the overall environment. One individual who contacted the property to inquire about rental availability reported a negative experience with the property manager. According to this review, the manager was described as "rude" and unhelpful. The potential tenant's request to fill out an application was denied, with a directive to call back in three weeks, delivered in a manner deemed "down right uncalled for." This negative initial interaction led the reviewer to decide against pursuing residency at Guernsey Lake and to discourage others from considering the place.
Another review offers insights from someone whose best friend resides within the community. This feedback raises concerns about the behavior of some residents, specifically mentioning that "the whole place is full of people who do not watch their own children." This suggests potential issues with unsupervised children and the associated implications for safety and community harmony. Additionally, the reviewer describes the community as "so out dated, it's unreal," indicating a potential lack of upkeep or modernization within the park.
The second review also acknowledges a change in ownership, noting that "they have new owners." However, it expresses concerns about the pace and priorities of the new management. The reviewer questions when the new owners will address issues such as getting rid of "the trash" and taking care of residents who maintain their properties. This implies potential problems with cleanliness or the presence of neglected areas within the community that are affecting the living environment.
Furthermore, the new owners are reportedly introducing "ridiculous" rules, according to this reviewer. One specific example cited relates to families with children, stating that "when you have 5 children living in a 3 bedroom mobile home, it is kind of hard to keep all of your outside toys hidden from sight at all times." This suggests that the new rules may be perceived as impractical or insensitive to the realities of family living, potentially creating friction between the management and residents.
Given these critical reviews, prospective residents should approach Guernsey Lake Mobile Home Community with caution and a need for thorough investigation. The negative feedback regarding management interactions, concerns about unsupervised children, the outdated nature of the community, and the implementation of potentially burdensome new rules are all significant factors to consider.
As the provided information is limited to these two negative reviews, there is a lack of information regarding the specific services, features, and overall environment of Guernsey Lake Mobile Home Community. Details about lot fees, community amenities (if any), pet policies, maintenance services, and the specific plans of the new owners for improvements are not available in this context. The proximity to Guernsey Lake itself might be considered an environmental feature, but the reviews do not elaborate on the accessibility or benefits of this location for residents.
For local users in Delton who are considering mobile home communities as a housing option, or those who have broadened their search from "RV parks near me," Guernsey Lake Mobile Home Community presents a scenario where direct engagement and careful evaluation are crucial. Contacting the park directly at (269) 623-2499 or +1 269-623-2499 to inquire about current conditions, management policies, and future plans would be a necessary step. Visiting the community in person to assess the cleanliness, the condition of the homes and common areas, and the overall atmosphere would also be highly recommended.
In conclusion, the limited online feedback for Guernsey Lake Mobile Home Community raises significant concerns regarding the rudeness of the management, issues with unsupervised children, an outdated environment, and potentially problematic new community rules under new ownership. While the lakeside location might be an appealing aspect, prospective residents should weigh this against the reported negative experiences and conduct thorough due diligence before considering residency at Guernsey Lake Mobile Home Community.

Guernsey Lake Mobile Home Community Reviews
I called to see if there was anything available for rent and the manager of the property was rude i asked if I could fill out a application and she told me no that I would have to call back in 3 weeks. If you heard the way she said it, it was down right uncalled for. I won't call back and I wouldn't recommend that place to anyone.
Mar 29, 2025 · Tammy McCarverMy best friend lives here and the whole place is full of people who do not watch their own children and everything is so out dated, it's unreal. I realize they have new owners but when are the new owners going to get rid of the trash and take care of the people who actually take care of their stuff. The rules the new owners are coming out with are ridiculous! When you have 5 children living in a 3 bedroom mobile home, it is kind of hard to keep all of your outside toys hidden from sight at all times.
