Thornapple Lake Estates Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Nashville, Michigan area and considering a longer-term residential option, Thornapple Lake Estates, located at 6335 Thornapple Lake Rd, Nashville, MI 49073, USA, is a mobile home park that warrants careful consideration. You can contact them at (517) 852-1514 or +1 517-852-1514 for inquiries. However, it is crucial to be aware of significant concerns raised in online reviews before making any decisions.
When comparing "RV parks near me" to mobile home parks like Thornapple Lake Estates for long-term living, the fundamental differences lie in the nature of the accommodation (RVs versus manufactured homes) and the community structure geared towards permanent or semi-permanent residents. Unlike the often transient nature of RV parks, mobile home parks offer a more established residential environment.
Based on the limited online reviews available, there are serious allegations regarding the management and the quality of the water at Thornapple Lake Estates. One reviewer describes the management as "horrible," alleging harassment related to animals and stalking behavior, strongly advising against moving into the community. This review also raises a critical concern about the water supply, stating that residents pay for water that is allegedly contaminated and undrinkable. The reviewer further claims that people have been seriously injured as a result and questions how the park remains operational.
Another review echoes the concern about the water, stating that while the cost of living in the park is "cheap," residents are required to pay for well water that is "almost un-drinkable." This reviewer mentions that residents are advised to either boil their water or let it run for at least one minute before consumption. The reviewer questions why the management does not address the water quality issue given that residents are paying for the water service, rather than suggesting measures that could potentially increase water usage and thus costs for residents.
The recurring and serious nature of the complaints regarding management practices and, most notably, the alleged contamination of the water supply are significant red flags for any potential resident. These are not minor inconveniences but rather fundamental issues concerning safety, health, and the basic provision of essential services.
Given these critical reviews, it is impossible to provide a positive or even neutral introduction to Thornapple Lake Estates based solely on the available public information. The allegations of harassment, stalking by management, and the provision of potentially contaminated water paint a concerning picture of the living conditions and management practices at this mobile home park.
When considering mobile home parks versus "RV parks near me" for long-term residency, one of the key factors is the expectation of a stable and safe living environment with essential utilities provided in a usable condition. The reviews for Thornapple Lake Estates raise serious doubts about whether these basic expectations are being met.
Prospective residents who might be considering Thornapple Lake Estates due to its potential affordability must conduct extremely thorough due diligence. This should include, but not be limited to:
- Visiting the property in person and spending a significant amount of time there to observe the environment and management interactions.
- Attempting to speak directly with multiple current residents to get a broader range of opinions and experiences, specifically inquiring about the water quality and management practices.
- Contacting local health and safety authorities to inquire about any reported issues or violations related to Thornapple Lake Estates, particularly concerning the water supply.
- Thoroughly reviewing the lease agreement and understanding all terms and conditions, especially those related to utilities, maintenance, and community rules.
It is imperative to approach any potential residency at Thornapple Lake Estates with extreme caution given the serious nature of the allegations found in the online reviews. The potential for affordability may be overshadowed by significant concerns about the living environment and the responsiveness of the management to critical issues such as water quality.
In conclusion, based on the available online reviews, Thornapple Lake Estates presents significant concerns regarding its management practices and the quality of its water supply. While it may be located near Thornapple Lake and offer a potentially lower cost of living, these factors are overshadowed by serious allegations of harassment, stalking, and the provision of possibly contaminated water. Anyone considering this mobile home park as a long-term residence, especially when comparing it to "RV parks near me," must conduct extensive and independent research to verify the current conditions and address the grave concerns raised by former residents. Without further positive or contradictory information, it is impossible to recommend Thornapple Lake Estates based on the publicly available feedback.

Aug 20, 2024 · Breann KeelerNot a bad place to live. Cheap for sure. The only thing that kind of grinds my gears about this place is they make u pay for well water that is almost un-drinkable so they tell you to either boil your water or let it run for at least 1 minute before drinking. Well.... im paying for the water... why don't they fix the problem with nasty water since we are paying for it instead of making us run the water more often so we have to pay them more.
Dec 05, 2020 · Robert WestbrookNothing but white trash living there ! Let alone the drug's that people use there. I wouldn't recommend it to a homeless person. Staff knows of the drugs, the cops ALWAYS being at someone's home, people mail gets stolen and the office manager / owner DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT !
Jan 31, 2019 · MELISSA HOLCOMBMy grandmother clicked for over 2 hours for a nurse because she needed to use the bathroom - then wrote her up when she had an accident and proceeded to state they never wanted her back because she had the accident. The nurse who claimed they supervised her physical therapy also had no idea what they had her do an hour after supposedly doing it. I asked if it was on her chart and the nurse huffed at me and stormed off.
