Barry's Resort & Mobile Home Prk Introduce
Barry's Resort & Mobile Home Prk, located at 2875 S Charlton Park Rd, Hastings, MI 49058, USA, is listed as an RV park and also appears to accommodate mobile homes. For local users searching under the category "RV parks near me" for temporary or potentially longer-term accommodation options, Barry's Resort & Mobile Home Prk warrants careful consideration due to strongly contrasting recent reviews regarding safety and living conditions.
One review presents extremely serious allegations, advising potential visitors in strong terms ("DO NOT STAY HERE! For the safety of your children RUN!"). This reviewer claims that the park "defends child predators" and that the residents "all stand together to protect the predator!" Furthermore, this review describes the park as a "DUMP!" citing "junk laying everywhere" and a significant infestation of "bedbugs and cockroaches" throughout the premises. The reviewer's experience was so negative that they stated a preference for sleeping on a bench rather than staying at the resort, labeling the residents as "bunch of psychos!" This review paints a dire picture of the safety and living conditions at Barry's Resort & Mobile Home Prk.
However, a subsequent review offers a starkly different perspective, directly responding to the claims made in the first review. This reviewer identifies as someone who has lived in the community for 8 1/2 years and explicitly refutes the allegations of protecting predators. They state emphatically, "We do not now or ever protect predators!" and clarify that while the community has mostly older residents, there are also families with children. Importantly, this reviewer asserts that "there are no registered offenders in this park" and that the individuals mentioned in a video (presumably related to the initial negative review) "do not live here and had no business being here." They also mention that the office secretary was unaware of the situation and asked those involved to leave.
These two reviews present a significant conflict in their accounts of Barry's Resort & Mobile Home Prk. The first review raises alarming concerns about child safety and severely criticizes the cleanliness and pest control within the park. The second review vehemently denies the allegations of protecting predators and attempts to contextualize the situation by stating that the individuals involved were not residents. This direct contradiction makes it challenging to form an objective assessment based solely on these two pieces of feedback.
Given the gravity of the allegations in the first review, particularly concerning child safety, any potential visitors or residents should exercise extreme caution and seek to verify the accuracy of these claims through independent investigation. This might involve contacting local law enforcement agencies to inquire about any reported incidents or registered offenders in the vicinity. It would also be prudent to seek information from multiple other sources, if available, to gain a broader understanding of the community's safety record and environment.
Regarding the living conditions, the stark contrast between "a DUMP! Junk laying everywhere, and has an infestation of bedbugs and cockroaches" and the lack of any corroborating or refuting statements in the second review leaves this aspect uncertain. The second reviewer does not comment on the cleanliness or pest situation within the park. Therefore, the serious claims made in the first review regarding these issues remain unaddressed by the available information.
Due to the conflicting and serious nature of the provided reviews, it is impossible to present a balanced and objective introduction to Barry's Resort & Mobile Home Prk based solely on this information. Significant missing information includes details about the park's management practices, security measures (if any), pest control protocols, community rules, amenities offered to RV and mobile home residents, and the general upkeep of the grounds and facilities. There is also no promotional information available.
For local users in Hastings looking for RV parks or mobile home communities, and who may have come across Barry's Resort & Mobile Home Prk in their search, it is strongly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence before considering a stay or residency here. This should include contacting the park management directly to address the serious allegations raised in the reviews, inquiring about their safety protocols, pest control measures, and overall maintenance standards. Visiting the park in person to assess the environment and cleanliness would also be a crucial step. Furthermore, seeking feedback from additional, unbiased sources would be highly advisable to obtain a more reliable picture of the community.
In conclusion, the available reviews for Barry's Resort & Mobile Home Prk present a highly concerning and contradictory picture. One review alleges severe safety issues related to child predators and describes extremely poor living conditions with infestations and general disrepair. The other review vehemently denies the predator allegations and attempts to clarify the context of the situation. Given these starkly contrasting accounts and the serious nature of the claims made, potential visitors and residents should proceed with extreme caution and conduct extensive independent investigation to ascertain the true environment and safety of Barry's Resort & Mobile Home Prk.

Barry's Resort & Mobile Home Prk Reviews
DO NOT STAY HERE! For the safety of your children RUN! This park defends child predators, they all stand together to protect the predator! And don’t give two craps about the child that the predator is praying on! Not to mention the place is a DUMP! Junk laying everywhere, and has an infestation of bedbugs and cockroaches 🪳. Everywhere you look there’s a cockroach or bed bug! This whole park is just 🗑️ 🤮. Avoid this place at all costs! I’d rather sleep on a bench than stay at this place. Bunch of psychos!
Oct 15, 2023 · VannaI too watched the video. I have lived in this community for 8 1/2 years. We do not now or ever protect predators! There are mostly older people who live here but we have families with children. There are no registered offenders in this park. The individuals in the video do not live here and had no business being here. The secretary in the office didn't know what was going on and told everyone involved that to leave.
Oct 21, 2023 · Tawni mostellerAfter the video I saw on Bikers against Predators, I would not recommend it at all. The catch child predators and the owner or whoever manages it came out and threatened them, because the were talking to a guy that had met up at a store to do bad things to a 12 year old. They were defending the guy and tried to attack the person confronting him. Watch the video at Bikers Against Predators.
Oct 09, 2023 · Paul MorphewAfter watching a video on a group known as "Bikers Against predators" the manager and a few others came out threatening and yelling and one assaulted a BAP member and also threatened to shoot that member of BAP (none of the BAP members were hostile). This community (Barry's resort) has made it very clear that they protect individuals whom prey on children. To anyone with children I highly recommend you find a different resort to stay at. This is not a good one in any way shape or form.
Oct 11, 2023 · Rick TTHIS PLACE IS A DANGEROUS PLACE IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN! These people support and protect child predators! Watch the video of Bikers against Predators and see for yourself! These people were trying to protect a man who was meeting up with a 12 year old! SICK PEOPLE
