King Silver RV Park & Marina Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" along the Oregon coast, particularly in the Waldport area, King Silver RV Park & Marina, situated at 3703 E Alsea Hwy, Waldport, OR 97394, USA, offers a location with potential access to the Alsea River. You can reach them at (509) 280-7566 or +1 509-280-7566 for inquiries about availability and services. This park's combination of RV facilities and a marina may appeal to those seeking both land-based and water-based recreational opportunities in the scenic Oregon coastal region.
The environment surrounding King Silver RV Park & Marina in Waldport is likely characterized by its proximity to the Alsea River, which could offer opportunities for fishing, boating, and enjoying the natural beauty of the Oregon coast. Waldport is a coastal town known for its scenic landscapes, access to the Pacific Ocean, and nearby attractions such as beaches, hiking trails, and the Alsea Bay Bridge. The location of the RV park and marina along the Alsea Highway suggests relatively easy access to these local amenities and potentially to the town of Waldport itself for supplies and services.
As an "RV park," King Silver likely provides various services and amenities essential for RV travelers. These typically include RV sites with hookups for water, electricity, and sewer. It is important for prospective visitors to confirm the availability and type of these hookups (e.g., 30 amp, 50 amp) to ensure they meet their RV's requirements. Standard RV park amenities often include restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Some parks may also offer additional features such as Wi-Fi access, picnic tables, and fire rings at individual sites or communal gathering areas. Given the "marina" designation, it is reasonable to expect that the park also provides facilities for boaters, such as boat launches, docking slips, and possibly even services like boat storage or cleaning, although these would need to be verified directly with the park management.
The features of King Silver RV Park & Marina are likely centered around its dual function. The marina aspect suggests the availability of boat slips for rent, providing a convenient base for those wishing to explore the Alsea River and potentially access the Pacific Ocean. For RV enthusiasts, the primary feature would be the RV sites themselves, hopefully offering a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the surrounding area. The waterfront location could be a significant draw, offering scenic views and easy access to water-related activities. Inquiring about the size and layout of the RV sites, the presence of shade or landscaping, and the proximity to the marina facilities would be beneficial for potential guests.
It is crucial to consider the feedback from recent customers to gain a balanced perspective on the park. One review paints a negative picture, describing the place as "run down and very geto looking" and "super high priced" for its condition. This reviewer also mentions "nasty" bathrooms and suggests a decline in quality under new ownership, expressing sadness at this perceived deterioration. This feedback raises serious concerns about the park's upkeep and maintenance.
However, another review offers a more positive perspective, stating that the reviewers have been renting a space for a couple of months and have experienced "very few issues." They praise the neighbors as "great" and note that the park is "really quiet." Importantly, this reviewer highlights that the "new maintenance people are doing excellent keeping the bathrooms clean," which directly contradicts the negative review's comment about the bathrooms. This contrasting feedback suggests that conditions or experiences may vary, or that improvements might have been made recently.
Given these differing opinions, it is particularly important for prospective visitors to conduct their own due diligence. Contacting King Silver RV Park & Marina directly at the provided phone numbers, (509) 280-7566 or +1 509-280-7566, to inquire about the current condition of the park, the cleanliness of the facilities, and the pricing is highly recommended. It would also be beneficial to ask specific questions about the RV sites (size, hookups, amenities) and the marina (availability of slips, launch access, fees).
Promotional information for King Silver RV Park & Marina is not included in the provided data. Therefore, any potential discounts, special offers for longer stays, or seasonal rates are unknown. Interested individuals should inquire about these details when contacting the park management. It is possible that they may have specific promotions running, especially for local users or for extended stays.
For those searching within the "RV parks near me" category, the conflicting reviews of King Silver RV Park & Marina highlight the importance of looking beyond just the location and potential amenities. While a waterfront location with marina access can be appealing, the condition of the park and the quality of its facilities are crucial factors in ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The recent positive comment about the new maintenance staff improving bathroom cleanliness suggests that some improvements may be underway. However, the earlier negative review regarding the overall condition and pricing should still be taken into consideration.
In conclusion, King Silver RV Park & Marina in Waldport, Oregon, offers a potentially attractive setting along the Alsea River, combining RV facilities with a marina. This could be appealing to those seeking both RV camping and boating opportunities on the Oregon coast. However, recent customer reviews present a mixed picture, with one describing the park as run down and overpriced with poor bathroom conditions, while another praises the quiet atmosphere, friendly neighbors, and the improved cleanliness of the bathrooms under new maintenance. Prospective visitors are strongly encouraged to contact the park directly for the most current information on its condition, services, and pricing, and to potentially visit the park in person to assess whether it meets their expectations. The contrasting feedback underscores the need for thorough personal investigation before making a decision to stay at King Silver RV Park & Marina.

King Silver RV Park & Marina Reviews
Place is run down and very geto looking, and super high priced for as run down as it is. Bathrooms are nasty.. has went down hill with new ownership. Very sad to watch.
Dec 06, 2024 · Stefanie StichWe have been there a couple months now renting a space, have had very few issues the neighbors are great it's really quiet the new maintenance people are doing excellent keeping the bathrooms clean.
Oct 19, 2024 · Robbie SchaferThe place is run down and outdated. The amenities listed are not actually available. The wifi doesn't work, the laundry room is worn out, and the showers are gross.
Apr 06, 2017 · Amanda RichardsonIf your looking for a place to buy some meth or if you want to live in a pigstie this place is for you. This has got to be one of the worst places I have ever stayed. This was the only monthly space available when we got into town so against our better judgement we stayed. This park could be a lovely little place. It is on the river and does have some nice views if you can get past looking at all the filth. I did enjoy watching the sun set over the Alsea. Sadly it looks like a Trailer Park. The residents are constantly picking fights with one another and Management (if you can call them that) is hands off. We could not decide if management just didn't care or they were just to drunk to care. There was an altercation between 2 monthly residents where they put there hand on one another but management said "Oh that's between them it has nothing to do with us." This park has muddy drinking water, the laundromat is 2 dirty broken down machines in a dirty little room. I can say much about the shower facilities since I could not bring myself to even walk through the threshold of that dirty smelly decade room. The internet dosent work for carp and the Cabel has been spliced so many times the picture is fuzy and some channels don't come in at all. However this park is overflowing with Meth so if your looking for a fix, Look no further.
Feb 08, 2019 · Tammy MortonWe love staying here. Spend at least a month every summer for the last six years. Enjoying fishing crabbing and staying in the RV park...so much fun.
