Rovers RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Waldport, Oregon area, particularly for an extended stay of a month or more, Rovers RV Park presents an excellent option. Located at 3299 E Alsea Hwy, this RV park has garnered high recommendations from its guests, especially those seeking a welcoming community and convenient access to the Alsea River. With a focus on providing a comfortable and friendly environment for longer-term visitors, Rovers RV Park stands out as a noteworthy choice along the Oregon Coast.
One of the most frequently praised aspects of Rovers RV Park is its prime location directly on the Alsea River. This enviable setting offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the river, with easy walk-out access. For pet owners, the inclusion of a dedicated dog park is a significant advantage, providing a safe and enjoyable space for their furry companions to exercise and socialize. The combination of riverfront access and pet-friendly amenities makes Rovers RV Park an attractive destination for those traveling with dogs and who appreciate the tranquility of a riverside setting.
For individuals working on contract in the area, Rovers RV Park has proven to be a particularly suitable choice. One reviewer specifically mentioned that it was "the best price in town" for a three-month contract stay. This affordability, coupled with the comfortable environment and convenient location, makes it an ideal option for those needing temporary accommodation while working in the region. The availability of multiple sizes of spots ensures that RVs of various lengths can be accommodated comfortably. Furthermore, the park offers both 30 and 50 Amp electric hookups, catering to the power needs of different types of recreational vehicles, including larger fifth-wheel trailers like the 35-foot one mentioned in a review.
Beyond the physical amenities and location, the strong sense of community at Rovers RV Park is consistently highlighted by its guests. Reviewers describe a "great community of people who are committed to keeping the place looking good and looking out for one another." This emphasis on mutual respect and neighborly support creates a welcoming and secure atmosphere for all residents. The friendly interactions and the sense of belonging contribute significantly to the positive experience reported by those who have stayed at the park for extended periods.
The owners, Becky and Ben, are repeatedly commended for their kindness and their dedication to maintaining a well-run park. One guest who enjoyed two seasons at Rovers described them as "the best" of hosts. Their attentiveness and caring approach likely contribute to the positive community spirit and the overall satisfaction of the guests. This personal touch from the owners can make a significant difference, especially for those staying for longer durations, fostering a more comfortable and home-like environment.
In terms of its broader location, Rovers RV Park benefits from being situated on Alsea Bay, which is noted to be "definitely warmer and sunnier than the foggy coast" just a few miles to the west. This microclimate can be a significant advantage for those seeking a bit more sunshine during their stay on the Oregon Coast. While one reviewer mentioned some highway noise, they also noted that the traffic quiets down by bedtime, and the abundance of "lots of singing birds" more than compensates for this minor inconvenience. Additionally, the park offers "decent Wi-Fi and good Verizon coverage," which are essential amenities for both work and leisure in today's connected world.
Considering all the positive feedback, Rovers RV Park appears to be an exceptional choice for individuals seeking "RV parks near me" for a month-long stay or longer in the Waldport, Oregon area. Its location on the Alsea River, pet-friendly policies including a dog park, affordable rates (as indicated by the contract worker's review), strong sense of community, and the exceptional hospitality of owners Becky and Ben all contribute to a highly recommended experience. The availability of different sized spots and both 30 and 50 Amp hookups ensures compatibility with a wide range of RVs. While specific promotional offers are not mentioned in the provided reviews, the overwhelmingly positive testimonials speak volumes about the value and quality of Rovers RV Park. Rovers RV Park Reviews
10/10 would recommend staying here if you are looking for a great 1 month or more stay! Right on the alsea river and has a great walk out to the river with a dog park. We were working on contract for 3 months and it was the best price in town! Also has a great community of people who are committed to keeping the place looking good and looking out for one another! We hope to be back in the future if our contract work brings us out this way! The owners are some of the kindest people we’ve met and are great owners! Pet friendly and they have multiple sizes of spots for different rvs! We brought our 35’ fifth wheel and fit perfectly with options for 30 and 50A electric hook up!
Nov 25, 2024 · Scott FanninWe enjoyed two wonderful seasons at Rovers. Hosts Becky and Ben are the best. Nice location on Alsea Bay. Definitely warmer and sunnier than the foggy coast - just three miles to the West. Very dog friendly with decent Wi-Fi and good Verizon coverage. Lots of singing birds more than makeup for some hiway noise. Traffic quiets down by bedtime.
Oct 27, 2022 · Neil ElfrinkRovers RV park has been the best park we have stopped at.The spaces here are extremely big compared to other RV parks, consisting of 3 "lanes" you have space for your car, your RV, and plenty of rec space in between! With 2 large dogs, the off leash area is amazing to get the morning jitters out, and there are tons of trails and beach access close to the park as well. The owners are incredibly friendly, and try to provide the best experience you can have.We will be coming back to the area, and absolutely will stay at Rovers!
Aug 12, 2019 · Trevor swatekThis is our type of park. Family owned and quiet. Sites are spacious, hook ups good. 40 channels of cable and wifi included. It is all about location for this park, right on Alsea River, lots of wildlife to watch, and put your in kayaks from the shore. Great off leash dog area, communal fire pit. Only 3 miles from the ocean.
Mar 25, 2021 · Cathy SVery nice people, love the fact that the dogs can have a play area also. Laundry room very clean but spots were close. Easy access into town, part of the park has shade the other does not. We stayed for 3 days and liked it because I didn't have to keep my dog tied up all the time.
