Hackberry Acres RV Park Introduce
If your search for "RV parks near me" brings you to the charming town of Clifton, Texas, Hackberry Acres RV Park, located at 403 Hackberry St, Clifton, TX 76634, USA, and reachable at (254) 633-3363 or +1 254-633-3363, offers a unique and convenient option for RV travelers. Based on recent customer feedback, Hackberry Acres RV Park provides a blend of positive attributes, including an exceptional owner and a prime location, coupled with some areas for potential improvement.
One of the most consistently praised aspects of Hackberry Acres RV Park is the owner, who is described as "amazing." This personal touch in management can significantly enhance the guest experience, fostering a welcoming and helpful environment. Knowing that the owner is attentive and responsive can provide peace of mind for travelers, whether they are passing through for a night or planning a longer stay.
The location of Hackberry Acres RV Park is another significant advantage. Situated "in the middle of town but without the traffic," the park offers the convenience of being close to downtown Clifton's amenities, attractions, and local flavor, while still maintaining a sense of peace and quiet. This balance is ideal for those who appreciate easy access to urban conveniences without the noise and congestion often associated with central locations.
For budget-conscious travelers, the price at Hackberry Acres RV Park is considered "right," indicating affordability and good value for the services offered. This is a crucial factor for many when searching for "RV parks near me," as cost-effectiveness can significantly influence the choice of accommodation.
The availability of "really pull through" spots is another practical benefit highlighted by a reviewer. Pull-through sites are highly desirable for RVers, especially those with larger rigs or those seeking a quick and easy setup and departure, as they eliminate the need for backing up. This feature adds to the convenience and ease of staying at Hackberry Acres RV Park.
It's important to note that Hackberry Acres RV Park may not offer the extensive amenities found in some larger, resort-style RV parks. As one reviewer pointed out, it "may not have a lake and a clubhouse or even a pool." However, this reviewer also explicitly stated that they "don't want to pay for that anyhow," indicating that for some travelers, the absence of these amenities is acceptable, especially when it contributes to a more affordable rate. This suggests that Hackberry Acres RV Park caters to those who prioritize essential services and a good location over elaborate facilities.
The "laid back small town vibe" of Hackberry Acres RV Park aligns with the character of Clifton itself. This atmosphere can be particularly appealing to travelers seeking a relaxed and authentic experience, away from the often more commercialized feel of larger tourist destinations. The park's ambiance reflects the local charm and slower pace of life in Clifton.
Another positive aspect mentioned by a reviewer is the "fast wifi." In today's connected world, reliable internet access is often a necessity for travelers, whether for work, communication, or entertainment. The availability of fast wifi at Hackberry Acres RV Park is a significant convenience.
However, the reviews also point out some areas where Hackberry Acres RV Park could improve. One reviewer noted the absence of a "dog waste station" and the presence of "lots of dog waste." For pet owners, the availability of designated waste disposal areas is important for maintaining cleanliness and a pleasant environment for all guests. This suggests that providing dog waste stations could enhance the experience for those traveling with pets.
Another concern raised was the waste management system. The reviewer mentioned "no dumpster but trash cans that were full," and that "other 2 trash cans looked as they belonged to house next to park." Efficient and clearly designated trash disposal facilities are essential for any RV park to maintain hygiene and prevent overflow. Addressing the capacity and organization of the trash disposal system could improve the overall cleanliness of the park.
Interestingly, the same reviewer who noted these issues also mentioned a positive interaction with the owner regarding their stay. Despite having a "no refunds" policy, the owner provided a 50% refund to a guest who had paid for two months but only stayed one night. This act of goodwill suggests a commitment to customer satisfaction and a willingness to be flexible, even when adhering to park policies. This aligns with the earlier positive comment about the owner being "amazing."
Considering the category "RV parks near me," Hackberry Acres RV Park offers a compelling option for travelers seeking an affordable, conveniently located park with a friendly owner and practical amenities like pull-through sites and fast wifi. While it may lack some of the resort-style features of larger parks, its central yet quiet location in Clifton and its small-town charm make it an attractive choice for those who value these aspects.
Prospective guests should weigh the positive feedback regarding the owner, location, price, and pull-through sites against the noted areas for improvement, such as dog waste management and trash disposal. For travelers who prioritize these aspects and appreciate a more laid-back atmosphere, Hackberry Acres RV Park could be an excellent fit.

Hackberry Acres RV Park Reviews
The owner is amazing, location is in the middle of town but without the traffic! Price is right and the pull through spots are really pull through. It may not have a lake and a clubhouse or even a pool, but I don't want to pay for that anyhow. If I was just passing through I know I would have tried to get a spot. Laid back small town vibe, because it is!
Mar 12, 2024 · michael bentonFast wifi, close to downtown. No dog waste station, lots of dog waste, no dumpster but trash cans that were full, other 2 trash cans looked as they belonged to house next to park. Stayed 1 night, policy is no refunds but owner gave 50% back. We paid for 2 months.
