Harbor Park Introduce
For local users and travelers searching for "RV parks near me" in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, Harbor Park, located at 1 Harbor Street, Cincinnati, OH 45230, USA, is a potential option. They can be reached at (859) 414-9659 or +1 859-414-9659 for inquiries and reservations.
When selecting an RV park, especially for a stopover during travel or a longer stay, it's crucial to consider the location, amenities, environment, and the overall value for the price. Online reviews often provide valuable insights into these aspects from the experiences of fellow RVers. In the case of Harbor Park, the available feedback presents a mixed but predominantly critical view that potential guests should carefully consider.
One reviewer expresses significant dissatisfaction with the pricing of Harbor Park, stating that it is "Overpriced for what the pictures shows the park is." They mention a weekly rate of $300, which they feel is comparable to the cost of staying at an RV resort, implying that Harbor Park does not offer the amenities or environment typically associated with such resorts. When inquiring about amenities due to the lack of a website, the reviewer reports receiving a reply from someone named Sherri stating, "Harbor Park is a more of place to park rather than a park with amenities. We may not be what you're looking for." This response suggests that Harbor Park offers very limited or no traditional RV park amenities and primarily functions as a parking space for RVs.
Based on this exchange, the reviewer concludes that they would "dont recommend" Harbor Park due to the perceived high price and the seemingly unhelpful or dismissive response regarding amenities. This initial feedback highlights potential issues with the value proposition and customer service at Harbor Park.
Another reviewer shares their experience of staying at Harbor Park as a "very convenient location if you need a Cincinnati stop while traveling." They acknowledge the provision of "full hook ups" for a rate of $55 per night and mention the "riverside" location, which offers a "pretty view." These aspects could be considered advantages for travelers needing basic services and a scenic backdrop.
However, this reviewer also raises significant concerns, stating that "the online photos are very deceiving." They describe their site as being located "in a parking lot of a junkyard/construction site," which led them to feel that the $55 nightly charge was "a little steep." This stark contrast between the potential impression given by online photos and the reality of the environment is a serious point of caution for prospective guests. The presence of a junkyard or construction site nearby could negatively impact the aesthetics, noise levels, and overall atmosphere of the park.
Furthermore, this reviewer points out a functional issue with the electrical setup, noting that the plug was "partially obstructed" such that it could not be inserted securely. This raises concerns about the safety and reliability of the electrical connections at the park, which is a fundamental requirement for RVers needing power for their vehicles.
Considering these reviews, Harbor Park appears to be a no-frills option primarily focused on providing basic hookups for RVs in a location convenient to Cincinnati and situated by the river. While the riverside setting and full hookups might be appealing to some, the high price relative to the lack of amenities, the potentially misleading online photos, the proximity to a junkyard/construction site, and issues with the electrical setup are significant drawbacks that potential guests must weigh carefully.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" for a stopover or a longer stay in Cincinnati, Ohio, Harbor Park's riverside location might be a draw. However, the description of the environment as being near a junkyard/construction site could deter those seeking a more scenic or peaceful setting. The lack of traditional RV park amenities, as indicated by the management's response, means that guests should not expect facilities like restrooms, showers, laundry rooms, or recreational areas.
The pricing seems to be a major point of contention, with one reviewer finding it overpriced compared to RV resorts, and another feeling that $55 per night was steep given the unappealing surroundings. Travelers on a budget or those expecting more for their money might want to explore alternative "RV parks near me" in the Cincinnati area.
The issue with the electrical setup is a practical concern that could affect the comfort and safety of RVers relying on shore power. Prospective guests might want to inquire about the electrical infrastructure and ensure it is reliable and easily accessible.
Due to the limited and critical nature of the available reviews, there is no information to suggest any promotional offers or unique features of Harbor Park that might offset the noted drawbacks. The focus seems to be solely on providing a parking space with hookups in a convenient location.
Local users in Cincinnati or those passing through should carefully consider their priorities when looking at "RV parks near me." If a convenient location and basic full hookups are the primary needs, and the surrounding environment and lack of amenities are not major concerns, Harbor Park might be a functional option. However, the high price relative to what is offered and the negative descriptions of the site and electrical setup warrant a cautious approach. It would be advisable to seek more recent reviews or, if possible, to visit the location to assess the current conditions before making a reservation.
In conclusion, the available online reviews for Harbor Park suggest a basic RV parking facility in a convenient riverside location near Cincinnati, Ohio, offering full hookups. However, it is criticized for being overpriced for the lack of amenities, having potentially misleading online photos, being situated near a junkyard/construction site, and having poorly designed electrical connections. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully weigh these drawbacks against the convenience of the location before deciding to stay at Harbor Park.

Harbor Park Reviews
Overpriced for what the pictures shows the park is. 300$ for the week is what a rv resort charge for it. And when asked if they have any amenities because they have no website Sherri reply " Harbor Park is a more of place to park rather than a park with amenities. We may not be what you're looking for."Well, never been there but dont recommend. Overpriced and i found a little bit rude the reply when i ask if there was any amenities on the park.
Sep 12, 2024 · Sofia TudeThis was a very convenient location if you need a Cincinnati stop while traveling. They provided full hook ups for $55. They are located riverside which provides a pretty view. HOWEVER, the online photos are very deceiving. Our site was in a parking lot of a junkyard/construction site which made the $55 charge feel a little steep.. Also, the electric is set up poorly, such that your plug is partially obstructed so you cant really insert it securely.
