Understanding their policies will be essential in determining if this location meets your needs as an RV traveler.
The customer reviews available for Hartland Meadows/AJR Home Sales present a mixed picture, with both long-term positive experiences and significant negative concerns highlighted. One long-term resident of 23 years shares a generally positive view of the community, stating, "...this has been a great place to live, I personally have never had a problem with my neighbors. My kids grew up here without real problems." They also note positive interactions with the staff, describing them as "friendly and professional." This long tenure suggests a degree of stability and a potentially positive community environment for some residents.
However, this same long-term resident raises two significant issues. The first is the "water quality" which has reportedly "ruined a number of coffee makers due to the mineral buildup." This could be a concern for anyone planning an extended stay, as it suggests potential problems with the water supply that might affect appliances and overall water quality for drinking and other uses. The second concern is the increasing rent, coupled with a specific grievance regarding the construction of a "pole pavilion" for which residents are being charged to use. The reviewer likens this to a "king George act," expressing strong disapproval of this additional cost.
In stark contrast to the long-term resident's generally positive view marred by specific issues, another reviewer describes Hartland Meadows/AJR Home Sales as "an awful place to live." This individual lived there for five years and notes a decline in the experience after new neighbors moved in. The central complaint is the alleged inaction of the office management in response to bullying: "I was being bullied by these neighbors, to the point I was making many complaints to the office. They did NOTHING." This inaction reportedly escalated to the point where the reviewer had to involve the police, who also deferred to the office, which still took no action.
The situation became so severe that the reviewer felt unsafe and was forced to move: "I ended up having to move due to being afraid (it's just myself and my kiddo)." This is a very serious accusation and should be a significant concern for anyone considering living at or visiting Hartland Meadows/AJR Home Sales. The reviewer specifically advises others to "stay away from Juneau Ct" if they do choose to live there despite this warning, suggesting that the bullying issue might have been localized to that particular area within the park.
Considering these two reviews, potential visitors or residents of Hartland Meadows/AJR Home Sales face a complex situation. On one hand, there is a long-term resident who generally enjoyed living there for over two decades, highlighting friendly staff and a good environment for raising children, while also noting concerns about water quality and increasing fees for amenities. On the other hand, a former resident describes a severely negative experience involving unresolved bullying and a perceived lack of support from the management, leading to a feeling of fear and the necessity to move.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me," these mixed reviews suggest that the environment and management at Hartland Meadows/AJR Home Sales might be inconsistent or that certain areas within the park could be problematic. The long-term resident's positive experience indicates that there are aspects of the community that some find appealing, such as friendly staff and a generally peaceful neighborhood (at least outside of specific neighbor issues). However, the serious allegations of unresolved bullying and management inaction are significant red flags that cannot be ignored.
When considering Hartland Meadows/AJR Home Sales for an RV stay, it is crucial to inquire about the park's policies on RVs, the specific amenities available to RV guests (e.g., hookups, restroom/shower facilities, laundry), and the overall environment of the areas designated for RVs, if any exist. It would also be prudent to ask about the park's procedures for handling disputes or issues between residents or visitors and the quality of the water supply.
Given the conflicting reports, it is difficult to ascertain specific positive features or services that might be consistently reliable at Hartland Meadows/AJR Home Sales. The long-term resident mentions friendly and professional staff, which is a positive attribute. However, the negative review casts doubt on the effectiveness of the management in addressing serious tenant issues.
As there is no specific promotional information available, the objective assessment must rely solely on the provided customer reviews, which, as noted, present a mixed and somewhat concerning picture. Potential RV visitors should weigh the potential benefits of a long-established community with friendly staff against the risks of water quality issues, increasing fees, and the possibility of inadequate management response to serious neighbor disputes.
In conclusion, Hartland Meadows/AJR Home Sales in Hartland, MI, presents a complex profile for those searching for "RV parks near me." While a long-term resident offers a generally positive perspective on the community and staff over many years, they also raise concerns about water quality and amenity fees. Critically, a former resident recounts a deeply negative experience involving unresolved bullying and a perceived failure of management to intervene, leading to safety concerns and forced relocation. Prospective RV visitors should carefully consider these contrasting viewpoints and conduct thorough inquiries with the management regarding RV accommodations, water quality, community safety protocols, and dispute resolution processes before making any decisions about staying at this property.

Hartland Meadows/AJR Home Sales Reviews
Been here for 23 years, the water quality has ruined a number of coffee makers due to the mineral buildup and the rent keeps getting higher. After that being said, this has been a great place to live, I personally have never had a problem with my neighbors. My kids grew up here without real problems. When ever I dealt with or talked to the staff they were friendly and professional. Now on the other hand, jacking the rent to build a pole pavilion and charging residents to use it, is a king George act if there is one! I could use that money back!
Feb 18, 2025 · Bill DerryberryThis is an awful place to live. I lived there for 5 years. The first few years were fine. Then new neighbors moved in and it was a horrible experience. I was being bullied by these neighbors, to the point I was making many complaints to the office. They did NOTHING. It became so bad that I had to start calling the police. The police didn't do much either. Said it was civil or that the office had to deal with it. Again, the office did NOTHING. I ended up having to move due to being afraid (it's just myself and my kiddo). If it's the only place for you to go, stay away from Juneau Ct.
Nov 04, 2024 · Cassie MartinOne of the worst places to live. Run!!! Even if you pay off your mobile home they will still come for you and evict you for petty stuff. You will never own anything thats in hartland meadows and you will have someone walking around your house regularly. The park also have nothing for its tenants that welcome you in. No pool, barely a playground, no gym. Nothing. They hire the worst companies to get stuff done around the park. The water is poison. They generally don’t care about the people living in the park. Worst place to live unless you want a forever landlord and lot rent to keep going up any chance that can give.
Jul 14, 2024 · Iggy ShevakMy complaint is mainly about management, I have lived here 18 years and there have always been rude people in the office. Don't dare to complain about sofas and hot tubs on front porches looking trashy, they don't seem to care and will be even ruder to you. The presentation of this park has declined drastically but they now raise the rent every year, even during Covid.
