Brighton Village Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For local individuals and families in Brighton, Michigan, exploring "RV parks near me" for potential long-term housing might lead to considering manufactured home communities like Brighton Village Manufactured Home Community, located at 7500 Grand River Ave. While the platform category might primarily suggest temporary recreational vehicle stays, manufactured home communities often offer a more permanent residential option through lot rentals for manufactured homes. To provide an objective overview of Brighton Village for local users, it's crucial to analyze the environment, services, and features based on the available, albeit contrasting, resident reviews.
One reviewer describes Brighton Village as a "small mobile home park" that is currently undergoing significant improvements. This suggests that the community is in a state of transition, actively working on upgrading its infrastructure and potentially the overall living environment. The reviewer notes that the park is in the process of replacing older homes with "affordable new homes," which could be an attractive feature for those seeking newer and potentially more energy-efficient housing options within a community setting. This ongoing development indicates a potential for positive changes and modernization within Brighton Village.
This same positive review also highlights the favorable location of Brighton Village. It mentions its central positioning with a church located next door, shopping facilities nearby, and a hospital situated across the street. This accessibility to essential services and community resources can be a significant advantage for residents, offering convenience and connectivity to the wider Brighton area. The proximity to a hospital, in particular, can be a crucial factor for families and individuals with healthcare needs.
However, this positive review also points out a current lack of amenities within the park itself, specifically mentioning the absence of a playground or a pool. This might be a consideration for families with children or individuals who value on-site recreational facilities. The ongoing improvements mentioned could potentially include the addition of such amenities in the future, but currently, residents would need to rely on facilities available outside the community.
In stark contrast to this generally positive initial review, another resident strongly advises against living at Brighton Village, stating emphatically, "DON’T LIVE HERE!!!" This negative review directly disputes the credibility of any previous five-star ratings, suggesting that such positive feedback might originate from individuals personally connected to the office staff rather than genuine residents with long-term experience in the community.
The core of this negative review focuses on the alleged unprofessionalism and poor management by an individual named Sara in the front office. The reviewer provides a specific and concerning anecdote: being locked out of their home while needing to pick up their children from school and allegedly being denied assistance by Sara, who was not in the office and reportedly instructed the maintenance staff to remove the resident despite knowing their situation. This incident, if accurate, raises serious concerns about the responsiveness and empathy of the management towards residents' urgent needs.
Furthermore, the negative review criticizes the competence of the maintenance staff, describing them as "as clueless as can be" and alleging their inability to fix issues. As a specific example, the reviewer mentions a persistent rodent problem between the ceiling and roof of their trailer that had reportedly not been addressed despite calls to maintenance. This lack of effective maintenance can significantly impact the quality of living for residents.
The reviewer concludes by reiterating their strong negative opinion of Sara, deeming her "very unprofessional" and "unqualified" for her position. They strongly recommend that prospective residents seek alternative housing options elsewhere based on their negative experiences.
The significant disparity between these two reviews presents a complex picture for local users considering Brighton Village Manufactured Home Community. The positive review highlights ongoing improvements and a convenient central location, while the negative review raises serious concerns about the management's professionalism and the effectiveness of the maintenance services.
Given these conflicting accounts, local users considering Brighton Village as a potential "RV park near me" for long-term living should exercise considerable caution and conduct thorough due diligence. Visiting the community in person to assess the environment and observe the ongoing improvements would be a crucial first step. If possible, attempting to speak with current residents (beyond those who have left online reviews) could provide a more balanced perspective on the day-to-day living experience.
Prospective residents should also inquire specifically about the management's policies and procedures for handling resident issues, emergency situations (such as being locked out), and maintenance requests. Understanding the process for reporting problems and the expected response times would be essential. It would also be prudent to inquire about pest control services and the community's approach to addressing such issues.
While the positive review mentions "affordable new homes" being introduced, there is no specific promotional information regarding these homes or the lot rental fees associated with living in Brighton Village. Interested local users would need to contact the management directly at the provided phone numbers ((810) 229-5112 or +1 810-229-5112) to obtain detailed information about housing options, rental costs, and any current promotions.
The lack of mention of amenities like a playground or pool in both reviews suggests that these are currently not features of the community. However, the ongoing improvements could potentially include the addition of such facilities in the future. Inquiring about future development plans might be relevant for those who prioritize on-site recreational amenities.
In conclusion, Brighton Village Manufactured Home Community in Brighton, Michigan, appears to be a community undergoing positive changes in terms of its housing stock. Its central location offers convenient access to local amenities and services. However, significant concerns have been raised by at least one resident regarding the professionalism and responsiveness of the management and the effectiveness of the maintenance services. Local users considering this "RV park near me" for long-term living should carefully weigh the potential benefits of the location and new homes against the serious allegations made in the negative review and conduct thorough personal investigation before making a decision.

Brighton Village Manufactured Home Community Reviews
This is a small mobile home park. They are busy making many improvements. Out with the old and in with affordable new homes. My son loves his new neighborhood. They lack amenities like a playground or pool. But they are located in a central area with a church next door, shopping near by, Hospital across the street.
Apr 25, 2025 · Michelle RiceDON’T LIVE HERE!!!If you happen read the two previous comments about Brighton village that gave this place a 5 star rating 😂 don’t be mislead. Those people must be friends of Sara’s and couldn’t possibly live here. If they just so happen to live here they haven’t lived here long enough to find out that Sara in the front office is a terrible person. For instance on one occasion as I was walking out the door to get my kids from school I accidentally locked myself out of the house and needed a spare key from the office. When I arrived at the office Sara is nowhere to be found so the maintenance guy let’s me in the office and tries to give her a call, when he gets ahold of her she tells him she’s not going to be back until later that afternoon and to kick me out of the office knowing I have to leave to get my kids from school. This is just one example of many that my family and I have am had to deal with while living here. As for the maintenance guys they are as clueless as can be, they don’t know how to fix anything I don’t know how they got hired. I call about a rodent living in between the ceiling and roof of our trailer and they’ve yet to doing anything about it, I can hear it right now as I type this review. Sara is very unprofessional, unqualified to the job she is hired to do and I highly suggest you find somewhere else to live.
