Hat Creek RV Park Reviews
Stayed here for 1 months while waiting on property to get finished. Was recommended by many in the area. It's 10 mins out of town just far enough to be perfect. Very quiet and by no means fancy, this is exactly the way it's supposed to be. Owner Jerry is a great guy and always available. Always made sure we got our mail and packages. Will have family stay here when they come to visit.

Jan 18, 2023 · Nicole BThis place is awesome! I'm a travel nurse and have stayed here for over 3 months by myself. It's super quiet, convenient to Tuscaloosa or Demopolis for job assignments, and I've always felt safe here. It's nice after a long night at work to sit and watch the cows just meander around in the beautiful fields. The people that live here on a permanent basis could not be nicer and more helpful. Even if you are staying for only a night or two, or longer, John will be super helpful. You can't go wrong here! Full connections, super reasonable daily, weekly, monthly rates. Pets are also welcome!
Aug 20, 2021 · Rebecca DavisI wanted to share this rating to let others know that this campground is more for those needing a place to live in their RV while working from job to job. It’s not your typical campground. There are 11 sites - full hook ups- no pads or gravel - just grass. There are no bathhouses or laundry. No roads leading to the hook ups. We went there because the ratings were good and thinking we would be staying off the beaten path and would enjoy the country scenery. We were well off the beaten path but the country scenery was an electric fence - no cows seen and a metal shed. One picnic table filled with trash and a barrel filled with limbs and rusty metal stuff. I was afraid at first to stay but it was too late to keep traveling. But after meeting one of the other campers and then the owner - I felt safe. It’s almost like boondocking except you have full hookups. Would I go back - even for one night ?? No- it’s not for me but might be for others. I think it’s important to know what you are really getting into besides that the people are nice.
Oct 13, 2022 · Teresa SmithJohn is a great host. There was an electric fence to keep his cattle in, but John closed the gate at the bottom of the pasture and we could unhook fence. Made it great for the dogs to run. Only 6 places to park but lots of room. Full hookups. Cattle farm which is filled with tech ponds now are just around the bend. Great for all people but especially for people running hunt tests. Love it and hope to get back next year.
