Love's RV Hookup Introduce
For local users and travelers searching for "RV parks near me" in the Eutaw, Alabama area, Love's RV Hookup, located at 7561 Mesopotamia St, Eutaw, AL 35462, USA, offers a convenient option often associated with the well-known Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores. You can reach them at (205) 372-9244 or their mobile number, +1 205-372-9244, for inquiries. Online reviews provide a mixed perspective, highlighting the convenience and affordability typically associated with Love's RV Stops, while also pointing out some potential drawbacks specific to this location.
One reviewer, familiar with other Love's RV Stops, noted that this particular location was "Not as nice" and that the restrooms "didn’t exactly measure up to the 'Clean Places' part of their slogan." This suggests that while Love's generally aims for cleanliness, the standards at this Eutaw location might be perceived as lower compared to other facilities within the same chain. This is an important consideration for travelers who prioritize clean and well-maintained restrooms.
The same reviewer also encountered a technical issue upon arrival, having reserved site 4 only to find that "the electric didn’t work." While they were able to move to site 3, this initial problem indicates a potential for maintenance issues. Furthermore, they commented on the length of the sites, stating that they were "fairly short for a truck and trailer combo of around 45 feet - barely fit." This is crucial information for those traveling with larger RVs or towing trailers, as maneuvering and fitting comfortably within the designated spaces might be challenging.
The layout of the RV sites at this Love's location is also a point of concern for this reviewer. They noted that the sites are "right next to the gas pumps and dog park," which results in "a lot of outside activity pretty close to your camper." The proximity to high-traffic areas like gas pumps could mean noise and fumes, while being adjacent to the dog park might lead to noise and increased foot traffic. Additionally, the reviewer observed that "several vehicles... parked in the empty RV spots in the night, either to run in the store or to, apparently, sleep for a while," indicating a lack of regulation regarding non-RV parking in designated RV spaces. They contrasted this with larger Love's RV Stops that are typically located further from the store, thus experiencing less random activity.
Despite these criticisms, the reviewer concluded on a somewhat positive note, acknowledging that "these Love’s RV Stops are super convenient for a quick stop and we’ll use them again." This suggests that the primary appeal of Love's RV Hookup lies in its convenience for overnight stays or brief stops during travel, likely due to its easy access from major routes and the availability of other amenities at the associated travel stop.
Another reviewer shared a more positive initial experience, stating, "First time we went to a Love’s RV. All expectations were meant. Everything went very smoothly, the price was affordable and the staff was very friendly. We would definitely do this again." This feedback highlights the affordability and friendly service as positive aspects of their stay. The smooth experience suggests that for some, the basic functionalities and convenience of Love's RV Hookup meet their needs and expectations.
Based on these reviews, the environment of Love's RV Hookup in Eutaw, AL, is characterized by its functional nature as a stopover location associated with a travel center. It is not portrayed as a destination campground focused on scenic beauty or extensive outdoor recreation. Key environmental considerations include:
- Proximity to Travel Stop Amenities: The RV sites are located close to the gas pumps and the convenience store, offering easy access to fuel, food, and other travel necessities.
- Noise and Activity Levels: Due to its location near the gas pumps and dog park, and the potential for non-RV vehicles parking in RV spots, guests might experience higher levels of noise and activity compared to more secluded campgrounds.
- Site Length: The parking sites may be relatively short, potentially posing challenges for larger RVs or vehicle-trailer combinations.
- Cleanliness: While generally expected at Love's locations, at least one reviewer found the restroom cleanliness to be below par at this specific site.
In terms of services and features, Love's RV Hookup typically offers:
- Basic Hookups: The name implies at least electrical hookups, and the mention of moving sites due to an electrical issue confirms this. It is likely that water and sewer hookups are also available, as is common at RV stops, but this is not explicitly stated in the reviews.
- Restrooms and Showers: These facilities are available, although one review raised concerns about their cleanliness.
- Laundry: While not mentioned in the reviews, Love's Travel Stops often include laundry facilities for travelers, so it's possible this location does as well. Potential guests should confirm this.
- Dog Park: A dog park is available, which is a significant amenity for travelers with pets, although its proximity to the RV sites might be a factor to consider.
- Access to Love's Travel Stop Store: Guests have easy access to the convenience store, which typically offers food, beverages, snacks, and travel supplies.
- Fuel Services: Being part of a Love's Travel Stop, gas and diesel fuel are readily available.
- Affordability: One reviewer specifically mentioned the "affordable" price, suggesting that Love's RV Hookups generally aim to be a budget-friendly option.
No specific promotional information is included in the provided text. However, the inherent promotion is the convenience and association with the Love's Travel Stops brand, which is widely recognized for providing essential services to travelers across the country.
For local users or those passing through Eutaw, AL, searching for "RV parks near me" for a quick and convenient stop, Love's RV Hookup offers a potentially affordable option with basic amenities and easy access to a travel store. However, it is crucial to be aware of the potential drawbacks highlighted in the reviews, including potentially shorter site lengths, proximity to high-activity areas, and possible inconsistencies in restroom cleanliness. Travelers with larger rigs or those seeking a quieter, more secluded environment might want to consider alternative options. Conversely, for those prioritizing convenience and a brief overnight stay, Love's RV Hookup could serve its purpose. It is always advisable to call ahead to confirm site availability, hookup details, and current conditions, especially regarding restroom cleanliness and any site-specific issues.

Not as nice as other Love’s RV Stops and the restrooms didn’t exactly measure up to the “Clean Places” part of their slogan. Reserved site 4, but the electric didn’t work, so we moved to site 3. Dec 18, 2024 · Jeffrey SmithWe have a 41' 5th wheel and are 60' connected. We selected site 3 before we got there and glad we did. We fit in site 3 but if we would have selected site 4, there is a cement wall at the back of the site that would have not allowed us to hang over and fit in the spot. Site 1 would get all the traffic coming in and out of the driveway. We would have fit in site 1, 2 and 3. If you need to use the dump station, you have to back in. It's shoved in the corner, next to the propane. It's not a convenient set up. The RV Spots are directly across from the fuel pumps, you are not in your own section at this Loves RV Stop. We wore earplugs to sleep at night and slept great. We would stay again.
Dec 21, 2024 · Erika PuvalowskiSites were big and hookups were easy. Site #4 was not level. Biggest issue was water pressure which was only 30 psi which is just a trickle. Our on-demand water heater requires an absolute minimum of 40 psi which means we had no hot water and were unable to wash dishes or take a shower. We were the only RV of the four sites hooked up to water. I attached a picture to show full pressure at the sink. There were several 1-hour parking spots on the one side of our RV. There was a diesel pickup truck pulled into the spot right next to us. He was running his VERY loud diesel engine but I did not complain because it was only a 1-hour spot; however, after listening to his engine for over 3 hours, I finally called. The girl who answered said she would let the manager know. Nothing happened. I went to bed and tried to sleep. After 2 more hours, I called again. By now it was after midnight. About 12:30, someone must have come out as the engine thankfully went silent and I finally fell asleep.
Oct 24, 2024 · Patricia SchroerStaff was helpful, check in was a breeze, except there was no one available to pump propane in the morning. Had to wait until 4pm. Extremely loud parking right in front of fuel pumps. Nonstop activitie ( all night, no sleep). Bad location.
