Hidden Cove RV Park Campground Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Columbus, Mississippi area? Hidden Cove RV Park Campground, located at 315 Sand Rd, Columbus, MS 39702, USA, offers a unique проживание experience with both RV sites and on-site camper rentals. You can reach them at (662) 242-0786 or +1 662-242-0786 for inquiries. When considering "RV parks near me," it's essential to evaluate the environment, services, and features based on available information, including customer reviews, to make an informed decision.
The environment of Hidden Cove RV Park Campground appears to offer a blend of natural beauty and practical amenities. According to one reviewer, the park boasts "lots of land to roam around on," suggesting a spacious setting where guests can explore and enjoy the outdoors. The presence of "a pond to fish in, or one can fish on the river" indicates opportunities for recreational activities and a connection with nature, which can be a significant draw for those seeking "RV parks near me" that offer more than just parking spaces. This natural environment could provide a peaceful and relaxing backdrop for both short-term and long-term stays.
In terms of services and features, Hidden Cove RV Park Campground offers on-site camper rentals, which, according to one guest, can be "cheaper than a hotel room." This option might appeal to individuals who do not own an RV but still want to experience campground living or need temporary accommodation while searching for more permanent "RV parks near me." The owner's policy of not renting these campers for less than a month should be noted by potential renters. The availability of "laundry provided, for a fee" is a practical amenity, especially for longer stays, allowing guests to manage their laundry needs on-site. Furthermore, the mention of a "secure Dropbox on site with envelopes provided" for rent payment suggests a convenient and possibly contactless way to handle financial transactions with the owner.
However, not all feedback is positive. One reviewer recounted an experience where they stayed in a rented camper for four days (having paid for a week) and encountered issues with the lack of hot water, making showering and dishwashing difficult. This led to an early departure, and the owner reportedly refused to return the $250 deposit, even though a refund for the unused days was not requested. The reviewer described the owner's behavior as "very unprofessional" and "down right theft," also mentioning that their calls were subsequently blocked. This negative experience highlights potential concerns regarding the maintenance of the rental units and the park's management practices concerning refunds and customer service. When considering "RV parks near me," it is crucial to weigh both positive and negative feedback to get a balanced understanding of what to expect.
Despite the negative experience related to the camper rental and deposit, another reviewer who stayed in the on-site campers multiple times indicated a positive experience, stating they "would choose to stay again." They appreciated the cost-effectiveness compared to a hotel and the privacy of not having daily housekeeping. This suggests that the on-site campers might offer a satisfactory experience under certain conditions, and the issue with hot water might have been an isolated incident or a temporary problem. The same reviewer also found the deposit requirement "understandable," viewing it as a cleaning fee for the subsequent guests.
The positive review also mentioned that "everyone at the campground was respectful of each other's space," indicating a potentially considerate and peaceful community atmosphere within the park itself, beyond the rental campers. This aspect can be important for those seeking "RV parks near me" where they can expect a harmonious проживание environment with their neighbors.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the reviews. However, the mention of on-site camper rentals being cheaper than a hotel could be considered a form of promotional information for those seeking budget-friendly accommodation in the area. To learn about specific RV site rates, long-term stay discounts, or any other promotions at Hidden Cove RV Park Campground, it would be best to contact the owner directly. When researching "RV parks near me," inquiring about potential cost savings or special offers is always a good practice.
In conclusion, Hidden Cove RV Park Campground in Columbus, MS, offers a unique combination of RV sites and on-site camper rentals, with a potentially spacious environment featuring a fishing pond and river access. While one reviewer praised the affordability and privacy of the camper rentals and the respectful community atmosphere, another reported a significant issue with the lack of hot water in a rental unit and unprofessional handling of a deposit refund. This mixed feedback suggests that while the park has appealing aspects, such as its natural setting and rental options, potential guests should exercise caution and seek clarification on issues like the condition of rental units and the park's policies regarding deposits and refunds. For those searching for "RV parks near me" in Columbus, MS, contacting Hidden Cove RV Park Campground directly at (662) 242-0786 or +1 662-242-0786 to inquire about current rates, amenities for RV sites, the condition of rental campers, and their deposit and refund policies is strongly recommended to ensure a satisfactory проживание.

Hidden Cove RV Park Campground Reviews
Many times, I've stayed in the on-site campers, and would choose to stay again. It's cheaper than a hotel room, for sure! No one from Housekeeping knocking on the door every morning is a plus for me. Paying a deposit is understandable. I would call it a cleaning fee; someone has to clean the place afterward for the next person(s)! The owner let me know up front he does not rent these for less than a month.Lots of land to roam around on, a pond to fish in, or one can fish on the river. Laundry provided, for a fee. Everyone at the campground was respectful of each other's space. Also, the owner never came to me for rent. There is a secure Dropbox on site with envelopes provided.
Apr 16, 2025 · Sharon CroftStayed for 4 days (but paid for a week) in one of the campers he rents out. Paid a $250 deposit plus the $400 to stay for the week and was supposed to get the $250 back at departure. We ended up leaving early because the water wasn’t hot and we couldn’t take a hot shower after work or wash dishes. We didn’t request a refund for the remaining days we didn’t stay, only that we get our deposit back. Owner has repeatedly refused to give us our deposit back and hangs up the phone every time we call now our number is blocked. Very unprofessional and honestly down right theft.
Jan 20, 2025 · Taylor ShannonScam artist. Kiss your deposits goodbye. Make sure you have something in writing to get your deposit when you leave. This is just another trick the owner has to make money. I returned the key which was a 50$ deposit and a 200$ deposit for the camper which I left his camper better than I found it and his response was “you ain’t getting that back”. Beware of this low life.
Jan 21, 2025 · Jacob WahdanThis guy is a scam artist. We in good faith paid $650 for the month. Had our camper delivered. Someone had a truck parked in the assigned campsite. Then the park owner tells me that was my issue. We couldn’t move it in. We asked for a partial rebate due to the situation and he decided he would scam us out of our money. Steer clear
Nov 04, 2024 · Sean BudaczBeautiful place! Right on the creek bank, with the ducks and squirrels, and the beautiful luxapalula creek! (Apologies if the spelling is incorrect) The price is reasonable and it’s only a few miles from Columbus, Mississippi! The only cons I found in my short time there, is they do not offer WiFi, and every so often he waters a field near the park with sewer water from the park, so depending on which direction the wind is blowing, some mornings it had mighty ripe smell! But it didn’t last long and was only a few times while I was there a month.
