Hidden Hollow RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Cottonwood, Alabama area, Hidden Hollow RV Park, located at 100 Magnolia Wy, presents a local option for RV travelers. Cottonwood is a small town in Houston County, situated in the southeastern part of Alabama, close to the Georgia and Florida state lines. This location makes Hidden Hollow RV Park a potentially convenient stop for those traveling through the region or exploring the Wiregrass area. Based on the available online reviews, the park is noted for its cleanliness, although some potential challenges regarding the levelness of the campsites have been mentioned.
According to customer feedback, Hidden Hollow RV Park is considered a "very nice park" and "very clean and well kept." These comments suggest that the management prioritizes maintaining a tidy and pleasant environment for their guests, which is often a significant factor for RVers seeking comfortable accommodations. Cleanliness, particularly in shared facilities like showers, can greatly enhance the overall camping experience.
One reviewer specifically mentioned the "large and clean" showers, highlighting a positive aspect of the park's amenities. Clean and spacious shower facilities are often highly valued by campers, especially those who have been on the road for extended periods or prefer not to use their RV's onboard facilities. This positive feedback indicates that Hidden Hollow RV Park pays attention to the comfort and hygiene of its guests.
However, both of the available reviews also point out an important characteristic of the campsites: they are not consistently level. One reviewer noted, "Yes the sites aren’t level," while another provided a more detailed description, stating, "the sites are sloped from side to side pretty drastically so it was a challenge to level our rig. It sloped about 6" from right to left so we had to drive our Class A up on blocks to get leveled." This information is crucial for potential visitors to be aware of, especially those with larger RVs or those who prioritize having a perfectly level setup for comfort and the proper functioning of appliances.
Despite the issue with sloping sites, one reviewer who is accustomed to camping in state parks and at race tracks found the lack of levelness to be "most definitely not an issue." This suggests that for experienced campers who are prepared for such conditions and equipped with leveling blocks or other solutions, the slope might not be a deterrent. However, for those new to RVing or those traveling in larger, more sensitive rigs, the need to use leveling equipment should be anticipated.
The fact that one reviewer used Hidden Hollow RV Park as an "overnight stop on the way to Florida" indicates that the park's location is convenient for travelers heading to or from the Sunshine State. Its proximity to major travel routes in southeastern Alabama likely makes it a practical choice for those breaking up longer journeys.
Given the limited information, it is essential for potential visitors to contact Hidden Hollow RV Park directly at (334) 316-9300 or +1 334-316-9300 to inquire about specific details regarding the park's environment, services, and features. When calling, you might want to ask about:
- The types of RV sites available (e.g., pull-through, back-in).
- The hookups provided at each site (e.g., electricity amperage, water, sewer).
- The severity of the slope on different sites and if there are any more level options.
- Other amenities offered, such as Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, restrooms (in addition to the showers mentioned), and any recreational areas.
- The surrounding environment, including any natural features or nearby attractions.
- Pet policies, if applicable.
- Check-in and check-out procedures.
As there is no promotional information available in the provided data, it would be beneficial to inquire about any current rates, discounts for longer stays, or seasonal specials that Hidden Hollow RV Park might be offering. Understanding the pricing structure will help you determine if it fits your budget.
In conclusion, Hidden Hollow RV Park in Cottonwood, Alabama, appears to be a clean and well-maintained option for RVers in the area or passing through. The availability of large and clean showers is a notable positive. However, potential visitors should be aware that the campsites may not be level and may require the use of leveling blocks or other equipment. For those accustomed to more rustic camping conditions or those prepared to address the sloping sites, Hidden Hollow RV Park could provide a pleasant overnight stop or a base for exploring the surrounding region. Direct contact with the park management is recommended to obtain detailed information about site availability, amenities, and pricing to ensure it meets your specific needs as you search for "RV parks near me."

Hidden Hollow RV Park Reviews
Very nice park. Yes the sites aren’t level but we camp in state parks and race tracks so this was most definitely not an issue for us. Stopped overnight on the way to Florida. Showers are large and clean.
Jan 02, 2025 · Patti HollingsworthVery clean and well kept park. Be warned, the sites are sloped from side to side pretty drastically so it was a challenge to level our rig. It sloped about 6" from right to left so we had to drive our Class A up on blocks to get leveled
