An Amazing hidden gem on Lake O' The Pines! This was our 1st travel trailer camping experience and I am SO thankful we started off here. The playground is so nice! Views are amazing! The hiking trail was not too hard but just right. We even spotted some tracks on our hike (great teaching experience). Great place for families!!! They even stepped in and saved us a few times! Note to self: bring your own fire ring! All in all this is an awesome place and I can't wait to come back. The summer months are going to be epic! If your looking for a place to camp, do yourself a favor book now.
Nov 13, 2021 · Chelsey YoungWe stayed 2 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. It was right on the lake which was beautiful, there was a great walking trail that both my son and dog enjoyed, and we were very pleased with the restroom/shower & laundry accommodations. The dog park area was large enough for my dog to run and chase the ball (much larger than other parks we've stayed at). The internet signal was strong and we were tucked back enough off the main road that we felt secluded. The prices were also very reasonable, we would definitely stay here again if we passing through.
Mar 17, 2024 · Amy BennettWe booked a site two months in advance. When we arrived they had given it to another guest even though we paid for that site. We wanted to be close to the dog area. It would be nice to have picnic tables on individual sites. Also the sewer hub sits high for the parking area.
Dec 06, 2024 · John FahrOmgoodness we LOVED it there!!! The caretakers were incredibly nice! The generator on our tour bus went out, and they charged up our batteries, so we could get home to OK! The lake was gorgeous, and we've already decided to stay there, whenever we go that way!
Sep 16, 2024 · Lee ShadoanJohn was most kind and accommodating. He gave us our choice of empty spots and even brought us a menu for local deliveries. The park is nice with a lake and bike paths, laundry facilities and after our first visit we had intended to return a week later but the severe weather got the best of us so we will return again later, for longer. Thanks John!
