Hope Springs RV Campground Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Hughes Springs, Texas area? Hope Springs RV Campground, located at 233 FM 161 North, Hughes Springs, TX 75656, USA, is one option that may appear in your search. However, it is crucial to consider all available information when making a decision about where to stay, especially long-term. The customer reviews found online for Hope Springs RV Campground present a concerning picture that potential visitors and residents should be aware of.
Hope Springs RV Campground can be contacted via phone at (903) 639-1122 or mobile phone at +1 903-639-1122. Unlike some other RV parks where reviews often highlight positive aspects like friendly staff, peaceful environments, or convenient amenities, the feedback for Hope Springs RV Campground predominantly raises serious concerns regarding management practices, financial dealings, and community rules.
One particularly alarming review accuses the owners of theft. The reviewer recounts a situation where, after paying in full and being owed a $150 deposit, an additional month's rent was allegedly taken from their debit card after they had already decided to leave. They claim to have left two days before the next month was due, resulting in a total alleged loss of $350 plus their $150 deposit. This individual strongly advises against trusting the owners with personal information and further alleges the spreading of rumors about them. Such accusations of financial impropriety are severe and should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating staying at this campground.
Another review details a negative experience where the reviewer's family was asked to leave without a clear explanation. This individual mentions the presence of "many rules" at the campground. Paradoxically, they also observed other tenants frequently breaking these rules, such as allowing dogs off-leash and unsupervised, yet their family was the one asked to depart. The fact that other tenants reportedly questioned their departure suggests that the reason for their eviction may have been unclear or perceived as unfair by the community. The reviewer expresses personal distress and strongly recommends against staying at Hope Springs RV Campground, specifically mentioning that their children playing outside was apparently unacceptable.
A third review appears to corroborate the sentiment of unfair or unclear eviction practices. The comment "Tossing good folks that pay their bills for no reason it a terrible way to run a business" suggests that this reviewer may have either experienced or witnessed similar situations where residents were asked to leave despite fulfilling their financial obligations. This adds to the concern about the stability and fairness of residency at Hope Springs RV Campground.
The phrase "Classy no replies just ask all the folks moving out I don't need to defend doing no wrong" from another reviewer could be interpreted in several ways. It might suggest a lack of communication or transparency from the management regarding issues or reasons for departures. The implication that others are also moving out could indicate a broader dissatisfaction within the campground community. This lack of engagement with online feedback can be seen as a potential red flag for prospective residents who value open communication and problem-solving from management.
Considering these reviews, the environment and community at Hope Springs RV Campground appear to be marred by issues related to management practices and interpersonal relations. The accusations of theft and the reports of unclear or seemingly arbitrary evictions paint a picture that is far from the welcoming and peaceful experience often sought by those looking for "RV parks near me." The existence of numerous rules, coupled with inconsistent enforcement and potential repercussions for seemingly normal activities like children playing, could create a stressful and unwelcoming atmosphere.
The reviews provide very little information about the physical services and features of the campground itself. There is no mention of the quality or availability of essential RV hookups (water, electricity, sewage), the condition of the grounds, the presence of amenities such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, recreational areas, or Wi-Fi access. This lack of positive information, overshadowed by the negative experiences shared, makes it difficult to assess the basic functionality and comfort of the park.
Similarly, there is no promotional information available in the provided context. Given the serious nature of the complaints in the reviews, it is unlikely that the park would be actively promoting itself without addressing these concerns. Potential visitors searching for "RV parks near me" in the Hughes Springs area would likely be dissuaded by such negative feedback, highlighting the importance of addressing customer issues for any business in the hospitality industry.
In conclusion, based on the available customer reviews, Hope Springs RV Campground in Hughes Springs, TX, appears to be a place where potential visitors and residents should exercise extreme caution. The serious accusations of theft, coupled with reports of unclear evictions, inconsistent rule enforcement, and a potentially unwelcoming environment, raise significant red flags. While the initial park host was described as honest and straightforward, the subsequent issues with the owner(s) seem to have created a highly negative experience for multiple individuals. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" in this area are strongly advised to thoroughly investigate these concerns and consider alternative options before making any commitments to stay at Hope Springs RV Campground. The lack of positive feedback regarding the environment, services, and features, overshadowed by significant negative experiences, makes it difficult to recommend this campground based solely on the information available.

Hope Springs RV Campground Reviews
This people are thieves!!! The park host that we had when we first moved in was honest and straightforward. Two months in to our stay there was drama with the owner and the original host . We decided to leave at the end that month we where paid in full and had a 150 $ deposit owed to us Michele or Kevin not sure which one took another month rent and kept our deposit off of my debit card that was on file we left two days before the next month was due paid in full. They stole $350 plus $150 deposit. These people are thieves and , they spread rumors that my wife and I are on drugs strongly recommend not trusting these people with any of your information!
Jul 27, 2024 · harold harrisStill not clear why my family was asked to leave. Many rulesDogs off leash and out without supervision daily and others breaking “rules” but somehow we were complained about. Yet when we were egressing the property all other tenants asked why we were leaving?I have my own suspicion and it makes me sick to my stomach but all I’ll say I’m not happy I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here. Evidently if your children play outside that’s not acceptable.Classy no replies just ask all the folks moving out I don't need to defend doing no wrong.Tossing good folks that pay their bills for no reason it a terrible way to run a business. I thought it was a nice place, we all make mistakes.
Jun 29, 2024 · James NucklesThis is a super quiet and nice RV campground sitting on top of the hill with a feeling of being out in the country, yet close to a small grocery market as well as a Dairy Queen down the road. The owners are super nice and try to be as accommodating as they can be with the campers. There is a laundry area with good working machines & a fair price, a catch & release pond, and an unplug & retreat cabin for two on the grounds. Definitely one of our favorite places to stay.
Oct 03, 2017 · Jacquetta LemkeWe had such a wonderful week stay. The cabin is quaint, and full of character. It not only holds comforts of home, but brings a couple together... Our hosts were very accomodating and helpful. It has a beautiful pond and a bench that lends time to sit, reflect, and watch nature. When you enter the cabin you can feel it is anointed with a sweet peace that washes over you and takes all the cares away. It brings you back to the real reason for our lives here on earth...to love our God and love one another. Don’t miss out, if you are near this place take the opportunity to soak in this peace....
Jul 07, 2024 · cynthia jacksonNice small quiet campground with full hook ups. Level gravel pads. Easy in and easy out. Close to town and any daily needs. Owner and camp hosts are super friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
