Ausable Chasm Campground Reviews
My family and I stayed a week in the cabins, they were clean and spacious. The mattresses were a little uncomfortable but I didn't expect anything fancy for a cabin. Bathrooms and showers were clean. The staff were always so friendly and helpful. The store is nice for any last minute needs and my go to for ice cream and snacks. They have live music, movie night and other fun family friendly activites at the grounds. There is a pool but we never got a chance use it but always looked clean and many people were often utilizing it. There are lots of well marked trails to enjoy and not far to walk to the chasm. I would stay there again in the future.

Oct 06, 2024 · Thomas Van WyenWhile the staff were sweet-hearted and the place was clean, my overall experience was disappointing. The mattresses in our cabin were horrible, making sleep impossible. The pool was small with no additional activities, limiting our enjoyment. The adventure activities were overpriced and not worth the value. Despite the heat, we weren't allowed to touch the river water, which made the experience uncomfortable. Although tubing was nice, it didn't justify the cost, wait, and drive.
Aug 04, 2024 · Hadeel al BoukaiStayed in a cabin Memorial Day weekend and we had a great experience. Cabin felt fairly new and fresh, and all other amenities were in good shape and functional. Staff at the desk were very friendly upon checking in and the small store had plenty of last minute essentials. The mountain bike trails were very easily accessible, and you can get a few hours of great riding in if you wish. It was a packed weekend with lots of families, but everyone was very polite and followed noise ordinances as well.
May 29, 2024 · shannon mooreThe Campground was very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and enthusiastic about their jobs. Our Cabin was adorable and had an outlet for my coffee pot. Everything you may have forgotten could be bought at the Campground Store or in nearby Plattsburgh. There is so much to see and do, 3 days was not long enough.
