Local neighborhood kids are known for vandalizing the property and leaving trash anywhere they please. Never see any parents watching their kids. People will loiter in your lot. You must own your trailer, but make sure to put up cameras to catch those that trash your property. The community itself is always so busy with traffic and people like to blast their music no matter the time. Oh and get ready to pay fees if you park on the side of the road, even for a few minutes. Yet, there is never anything done to improve the parking lot or make it bigger to actually accommodate the community if people have guests. This place just wants your money and they will go to any means to get it. What do they do with our money? Probably live lavishly themselves because the community sure reflects that nothing is being improved (opened the pool this summer but the closed sign has been up more often than not, the neighborhood kids completely trashed the playground and the community refuses to fix it and put up security, oh and your mail/packages will probably be misdelivered and no one seems to be kind enough to return to the actual receiver these days). - Andi G.

Highland Greens Introduce

If you are currently looking for "RV parks near me" in the Athens, Georgia area, Highland Greens, located at 950 Danielsville Rd, Athens, GA 30601, USA, is a mobile home park that may appear in your search results. However, it is crucial to carefully examine the available customer reviews, which present a concerning picture of the community environment and management practices.

The feedback from residents paints a negative portrayal of Highland Greens. One detailed review highlights several significant issues. A primary concern is the behavior of local neighborhood children, who are reportedly known for vandalizing the property and littering. The reviewer notes a lack of parental supervision and instances of loitering on residents' lots. This suggests a potential lack of security and a disregard for property within the community, which could be a major deterrent for those seeking a peaceful and respectful "RV park" environment.

Adding to the concerns about the environment is the reported high traffic volume within the community and the frequent blasting of music at all hours. This indicates a potentially noisy and disruptive living situation, which may not be suitable for individuals seeking a quiet and tranquil "RV park" experience. Furthermore, the reviewer mentions fees for parking on the side of the road, even for short durations, juxtaposed with a lack of improvements or expansion of the parking lot to accommodate residents and guests. This suggests a potentially inconvenient and financially punitive parking situation.

The financial aspects of living at Highland Greens, as described in the reviews, are also troubling. The sentiment that "This place just wants your money and they will go to any means to get it" is a serious accusation. The reviewer questions how resident fees are utilized, suggesting a lack of visible improvements to the community. Specific examples include the pool being frequently closed despite opening for the summer, the playground being unusable due to vandalism without any community effort to repair it or enhance security, and issues with mail and package misdelivery without neighborly assistance in returns. These points indicate potential neglect of communal amenities and a lack of community spirit.

The second review reinforces the negative perception of the management, labeling them as "money hungry extortionists" and advising others not to move to Highland Greens. This strong condemnation further underscores the concerns raised in the first review. The reviewer also mentions the office being frequently unattended and the practice of issuing notices with same-day action requirements, suggesting poor communication and potentially unreasonable demands on residents.

A specific instance of what the reviewer considers exploitative is being charged $50 for a 15-foot yard to be cut, especially when the regular service cost is $20, simply because the usual landscaper did not want to cut wet grass. This example highlights concerns about unfair pricing and a lack of consideration for residents' financial well-being.

Based on this overwhelmingly negative feedback, it is extremely difficult to provide a positive introduction to the environment, services, or features of Highland Greens as an "RV park." The recurring themes of vandalism, noise, parking issues, poor management, questionable fees, and neglected amenities paint a concerning picture. Prospective residents searching for "RV parks near me" would likely be dissuaded by these accounts.

There is no mention of any positive features or services in the provided reviews that would typically be highlighted when introducing an "RV park." Details about the types of RV sites available, hookups, laundry facilities, communal areas, security measures (beyond the lack thereof mentioned), or any organized activities are absent. The focus is entirely on the negative aspects of the living experience as reported by residents.

Given the lack of any positive information and the strong negative sentiment expressed in the reviews, there is no basis to discuss any potential promotional offers for Highland Greens. It is highly unlikely that a community with such significant issues publicly reported would be actively promoting itself without addressing these fundamental problems.

For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" in Athens, GA, the available reviews for Highland Greens serve as a significant warning. The consistent themes of vandalism, disruptive noise, inconvenient parking with fees, a perceived lack of investment in the community despite fees, and allegations of exploitative management practices should be carefully considered. Prospective residents would be well-advised to thoroughly research alternative "RV parks" in the area that have more positive or at least less concerning feedback.

In conclusion, the online reviews for Highland Greens present a deeply negative portrayal of this mobile home park. The reported issues with vandalism, noise, parking, management, and community upkeep raise serious concerns for anyone considering living in this community as an "RV park." Based on this information, prospective residents should exercise extreme caution and prioritize exploring other options in their search for "RV parks near me" in Athens, Georgia.
