Recent feedback from fellow RVers provides valuable insights into the environment and amenities offered.
One reviewer described Hill Country RV Park as "Quiet and peaceful," immediately highlighting a key characteristic that many seek in an RV park, especially for those looking to escape the noise and bustle of daily life. This emphasis on tranquility suggests a relaxed and serene atmosphere, ideal for unwinding and enjoying the natural surroundings of the Texas Hill Country.
The same reviewer noted that the "Sites are gravel but ample space." This is a practical consideration for RVers, indicating that while the ground surface is gravel, the sites are generously sized, providing enough room for comfortable setup and maneuvering of various RV types. The ample space also contributes to the feeling of peace and privacy, as you are not cramped close to your neighbors.
Regarding technology, the reviewer mentioned that "Tv antenna reception is sketchy at best but their WiFi is great." This is important information for local users who rely on either over-the-air television or internet connectivity. The reliable Wi-Fi is a significant plus in today's connected world, allowing guests to stay in touch, work remotely, or enjoy online entertainment without frustration. However, those who primarily depend on a TV antenna for their viewing needs should be aware of potential reception issues.
Another guest echoed the sentiment about the park being "Very quiet," further reinforcing its reputation as a peaceful destination. They also appreciated the level of privacy, stating, "No one bothers you." This suggests a respectful and considerate community within the park, where guests can enjoy their space without unnecessary disturbances.
A unique feature highlighted by this reviewer is the presence of "The shed on our site is a major plus to keep clutter out of a small travel trailer." This is an exceptional amenity not commonly found in RV parks. Having a shed on-site provides valuable storage space for outdoor gear, tools, or other items, helping to keep the RV interior tidy and maximizing living space, particularly beneficial for those in smaller trailers.
The same guest also noted a desirable environmental aspect, mentioning that "The back looks out over the river instead of another rv." This indicates that some sites at Hill Country RV Park offer scenic river views, providing a beautiful and tranquil backdrop for your stay. The absence of neighboring RVs directly behind these sites enhances the sense of privacy and connection with nature.
Finally, this reviewer commended the management, stating, "The land lord is very nice. He lives in the park so he is always available." Having the landlord residing on-site offers a significant advantage in terms of accessibility and responsiveness to guest needs or concerns. It suggests a personal touch in the management and a commitment to ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
Based on these reviews, Hill Country RV Park offers a compelling combination of peace, space, and unique amenities for local RV users. The quiet and peaceful environment is a recurring theme, making it an ideal choice for those seeking relaxation. The ample gravel sites provide practical space for RVs, and the great Wi-Fi caters to connectivity needs. The presence of sheds on some sites offers a valuable storage solution, and the riverfront views from select locations enhance the natural appeal. The on-site and readily available landlord adds a layer of security and convenience.

Nov 16, 2023 · Cheryl SchmitzVery quiet park. No one bothers you. The shed on our site is a major plus to keep clutter out of a small travel trailer. The back looks out over the river instead of another rv. I like it.The land lord is very nice. He lives in the park so he is always available.
Sep 13, 2020 · Sgt GCruel owner. The mangers are very nice but the owners was not very nice. The park mangers and the park it’s self isn’t so bad. Beautiful in the back right by the river. Some nice neighbors too.We moved from boerne to this place and had a blow out and got a new tire then had some pull out issues and we ended up getting there a little late & had a mover with us that had to unpack the uhual and return it.I guess the neighbors complained & we had an issue with our sewer line. The owner gave us from a Friday afternoon until Monday morning to move or else they are gonna take the rv to an impound and not return our deposit.. he finally after the sweet manager talking to him gave us an extra day! & we got our deposit back. everything was closed on the weekend and trying to find somewhere and get applications figured out in that time is nearly impossible. We asked for just a few extra days and he wouldn’t bunge. The owner had no compassion and didn’t want to listen to a word we had to say. I do not recommend this place. If your going through a hard time I’d stay away from here even more so.
