Are you searching for "rv parks near me" in the Ingram, Texas area, particularly one situated along the scenic Guadalupe River? Riverside RV Park, located at 225 Old Ingram Loop, Ingram, TX 78025, USA, offers a tranquil and convenient option for RV travelers. Based on customer reviews, this park boasts a peaceful atmosphere and full hookup facilities, making it suitable for self-contained RVs. Its prime location is also adjacent to the Ingram historical loop, offering opportunities for exploration and local charm. To inquire about availability and specific details, you can contact Riverside RV Park at (830) 367-4843 or +1 830-367-4843.
The environment at Riverside RV Park is consistently described as quiet and relaxing, making it an appealing choice for those seeking a peaceful getaway. Its location directly "on the Guadalupe river" offers the potential for scenic views and perhaps even river access for activities (though this is not explicitly stated in the reviews). The proximity to the "Ingram historical loop" suggests that guests have easy access to explore the local history and the unique character of Ingram. One reviewer noted the quaintness of the area, although they also observed that many businesses appeared to be closed down, which might be a consideration for those seeking vibrant local amenities within walking distance. However, for those prioritizing a serene natural setting and historical exploration, Riverside RV Park's environment seems well-suited.
In terms of services and features, Riverside RV Park offers "full hook ups," which is a significant advantage for RV travelers. Full hookups typically include connections for electricity (likely offering both 30 and 50 amp service to accommodate various RV needs), water, and sewer, providing a comfortable and convenient stay for self-contained RVs. The first reviewer specifically mentions that "If, you are self-contained you will do well," which might imply that the park focuses on providing the essential hookups rather than extensive amenities like restrooms or showers, though this is not definitively stated. However, the second reviewer mentions speaking to other guests, suggesting the presence of multiple sites and a community of travelers.
One notable feature mentioned by the second and third reviewers is the availability of "cable TV." This can be a welcome amenity for those who enjoy staying connected to entertainment during their travels. However, a significant point raised by both of these reviewers is the lack of reliable internet access on their phones. One believed this to be related to the local carrier in the area, while the third reviewer explicitly stated, "If being connected to the internet is important to you then this isn't the place for you." This is a crucial consideration for travelers who rely on internet connectivity for work, communication, or entertainment.
Based on the customer reviews, potential services and features at Riverside RV Park include:
- Full Hookups: Providing electricity, water, and sewer connections at each site.
- Riverside Location: Offering potential scenic views and access to the Guadalupe River.
- Proximity to Ingram Historical Loop: Providing easy access to local history and attractions.
- Cable TV: Available for guests at their sites.
- Quiet and Relaxing Atmosphere: Consistently mentioned as a key characteristic of the park.
- Pleasant Fellow Guests: The second reviewer noted that "people were pleasant."
- Positive Management: The third reviewer had "absolutely no negative issued with the people, facility or owner" and would recommend the park.
Promotional information can be gleaned from the positive aspects highlighted in the reviews. The park's location "on the Guadalupe river" and "next to the Ingram historical loop" are significant selling points for those interested in nature and local history. The "quiet and relaxing" atmosphere promotes it as a peaceful retreat. The availability of "full hook ups" caters to the needs of self-contained RVs, offering convenience and comfort. The positive experience with the owner and the willingness of a guest to recommend the park also serve as a form of positive promotion.
However, the significant limitation of potentially unreliable or unavailable internet access on phones must also be considered. This is a crucial piece of information for potential guests who rely on internet connectivity during their travels. The observation about closed businesses in the quaint area might also be relevant for those seeking immediate access to local shops and restaurants.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Riverside RV Park and to address the limitations of the available information, it is recommended to contact them directly. By calling (830) 367-4843 or +1 830-367-4843, you can inquire about:
- Specifics of the Full Hookups: Confirm the amperage of electrical service and any other details about the water and sewer connections.
- River Access and Activities: Ask if guests have direct access to the Guadalupe River for fishing, swimming, or other recreational activities.
- Internet Availability: Inquire if Wi-Fi is available at the park and, if not, if there are any known issues with cellular internet service in the area.
- Restroom and Shower Facilities: Confirm if the park provides communal restrooms and showers for guests who may not be fully self-contained.
- Laundry Facilities: Ask if there are on-site laundry facilities available for guests.
- Pet Policies: If you are traveling with pets, inquire about any specific rules or restrictions.
- Rates and Reservations: Obtain current pricing information and inquire about making reservations.
- Local Amenities: Ask for recommendations on nearby grocery stores, restaurants, and other conveniences, especially considering the comment about closed businesses in the historical loop.
In conclusion, Riverside RV Park in Ingram, Texas, offers a quiet and relaxing environment along the Guadalupe River, with the added benefit of being adjacent to the Ingram historical loop. The availability of full hookups makes it suitable for self-contained RVs. However, potential guests should be aware of the reported limitations with internet access on phones. Riverside RV Park Reviews
On the Guadalupe river and next to the Ingram historical loop. If, you are self-contained you will do well. Quiet and relaxing. Full hook ups.
Dec 27, 2020 · Rufino HerreraWe stayed a few weeks ago for two nights. Spoke to two gentlemen that were staying there and a lady the next day. It was quiet, people were pleasant. It did have cable TV but no internet on our phones. I believe that is the carrier in the area. Peculiar thing, the area was quaint but it appeared that most of the businesses were closed down.I had absolutely no negative issued with the people, facility or owner. I would certainly recommend it. If being connected to the internet is important to you then this isn't the place for you.
Apr 22, 2019 · Terry CoheaThis little Parks a hidden treasure! Its on the bank of where Johnson River and Guadalupe join together. A great location for water activities and minutes from Kerrville!!
Aug 06, 2020 · Chris BarrosoWorst RV park I have ventured to, by far. This small park is full of long term residents who do not mind their own business and an extremely hostile and racist owner/manager. I would not take a child nor any family member to this park. Some of the residents are also habitual drug users.
Mar 16, 2019 · Cristian MartinezThis was a great place to stay. Clancy and Renee are great people and did everything to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. We would stay here again!!🖒☺
