Hills Haven Manufactured Home Community Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Buchanan, Michigan area, Hills Haven Manufactured Home Community, located at 4205 Hills Haven Rd, Buchanan, MI 49107, USA, is a manufactured home community that might offer possibilities for long-term RV living. You can contact them at (260) 695-5148 or +1 260-695-5148 to inquire about the availability of RV sites, specific amenities, and any relevant terms and conditions for RV stays.
Based on the limited online reviews available, there appear to be mixed perspectives regarding Hills Haven Manufactured Home Community. It is important to consider these points when evaluating this location as a potential "RV park near you."
One former resident who lived in the community for five years stated that it was "not a bad place to live." However, they also noted the occasional presence of "hoolighans," suggesting that there might be instances of disruptive behavior within the community from time to time. This is a factor that potential residents who value peace and quiet should consider.
Another reviewer shared a negative experience as a visitor to the community. They expressed being "very upset pulling into that Trailer Park to visit someone." The reason for their distress was a "huge sign" prominently displayed upon entering, which reportedly instructed "certain Tenants to come to office for urgent matters." The reviewer found this practice to be "humiliating" for the tenants involved, as it made their private business potentially known to everyone entering the park, including visitors from outside the state (in this case, Tennessee).
This review raises concerns about the community's management practices and the potential for a lack of privacy or sensitivity towards residents. While this experience was from the perspective of a visitor, it could reflect a broader approach to communication or management within the community that might also affect residents, including those in RVs if allowed.
Given the limited and somewhat conflicting nature of these reviews, it is challenging to form a comprehensive picture of the environment, services, and features of Hills Haven Manufactured Home Community. The positive comment suggests that, overall, it might be an acceptable place to live for some, while the negative comment points to potential issues with community management and resident privacy.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" and considering Hills Haven Manufactured Home Community for long-term RV living, it is crucial to conduct thorough due diligence. Contacting the management directly is essential to inquire about the availability of RV sites, the types of hookups provided (e.g., water, electricity, sewer), the size limitations for RVs, and the associated costs for both short-term and long-term stays. It would also be prudent to ask about the community's rules and regulations, pet policies, and any amenities that might be available to RV residents, such as laundry facilities, restrooms, or recreational areas.
Furthermore, given the comment about occasional disruptive behavior, it might be helpful to inquire about the community's security measures and how such issues are addressed by management. Understanding the overall atmosphere and the sense of community among residents would also be beneficial.
The negative feedback regarding the public display of notices for specific tenants raises questions about communication practices within the community. If you are considering living in your RV at Hills Haven, you might want to ask about how management typically communicates with residents and ensures their privacy.
Without more information from online reviews or the community itself, it is impossible to provide details about the environment, such as the landscaping, noise levels, or proximity to local attractions. Similarly, information about services like on-site maintenance or community events is not available.
In conclusion, the limited online feedback for Hills Haven Manufactured Home Community in Buchanan, MI, presents a mixed picture. While one former resident found it to be "not a bad place to live," another visitor raised concerns about management practices and resident privacy. For those searching for "RV parks near me," it is essential to directly contact Hills Haven Manufactured Home Community to gather detailed information about their policies regarding RVs, the amenities offered, and to address any concerns arising from the available reviews. A personal visit to the community, if possible, could also provide valuable insights into the environment and overall atmosphere before making a decision.

Hills Haven Manufactured Home Community Reviews
I lived here 5 years and it not a bad place to live. But you have your hoolighans ever so often
Feb 04, 2025 · Kaz UkiI was very upset pulling into that Trailer Park to visit someone. As soon as you pull in,they have a huge sign out there, telling certain Tenants to come to office for urgent matters. How humiliating. So now everyone knows Tenants bussiness in the Trailer park,oh and someone who lives in Tennessee (Me).
Jun 21, 2024 · Megan KurzhalAs a former resident of 10+ years, it was nice to chat with the other residents. I plan to still go back weekly to cut grass and catch up with my customers. I've been doing this for at least the past year.
Aug 09, 2023 · ImQuackers the Totally QuackersI think management is ok but the fact that they only have one creditor now is a big downside and just like any other trailer park I've been to it has it's own politics
Jan 26, 2023 · Michael HoltgrieveMoved in was told everything was fine and if we had any concerns to voice them to the office and they would help. Well, one roof leak, two stoves, three fridges, one hole in the floor, one inoperable toilet, one birds nest in the wall, two black mold surfaces, cockroach, giant ants, mice, and a counter thats about to collapse all I got from the office was, you are homeowners, and are responsible for the upkeep of the home, you can buy ant spay and mouse traps, you live by the woods. (I've lived here 3 months)Update after living here 3 years unfortunately:Trailer was patched and cheaply repaired to make look nice. But it all falls apart shortly thereafter. Still continuing to have issues with the structure of the home. Aiming to move and refuse to repair or fix this because it's not worth it for them to turn around and rent it out to someone else eventually, with all the work I put into it. I've made some that were necessary, like repairing an entire section of floor that caved in shortly after moving in. Fixing the front door that flooded inside from the top when it rained. Ya know, cause when you move in it's your problem. Now I get notes on the door with demands that I repair the trash heap I'm renting. They dont fix anything until you move and anything you do fix they consider that a bonus because it's one less thing they have to do and its that much easier to rent out again for 20k. Please come here as last resort. If you dont mind low class or dont have decent living expectations than you'd fit in well here.
