Spring Lake Manufactured Housing Community Introduce
For local residents in the Stevensville, Michigan area seeking "rv parks near me" for potentially longer-term accommodation or considering alternatives like manufactured housing communities, Spring Lake Manufactured Housing Community presents an option to explore. Located at 604 W John Beers Rd, Stevensville, MI 49127, USA, and reachable by phone at (269) 429-4361 or +1 269-429-4361, this community offers a unique living environment that shares some similarities with RV parks while providing a more permanent residential structure.
Based on available customer reviews, the experience of living at Spring Lake Manufactured Housing Community appears to have evolved over time, particularly with changes in management. One review, written by a former resident who left in August 2023 after 4.5 years, highlights concerns about the lack of consistent rule enforcement and the presence of what they considered "eyesores" within the community. This reviewer suggests that despite potential changes in ownership, the on-site management at the time of their departure had not adequately addressed these issues, leading to a negative overall experience influenced by neighborly inconsistencies.
In contrast, another long-term resident, who moved into the community in 2014, provides a more positive perspective, particularly regarding the impact of a specific Community Manager, Jillian Adey. This reviewer notes that for the initial years, the community experienced frequent changes in management and unresolved maintenance and rule enforcement issues. However, they state that the situation significantly improved when Jillian Adey took over. According to this resident, Jillian was effective in communication, even when dealing with higher management approvals, and her leadership led to a 100% improvement in their living experience and the overall community environment. This positive experience under her management influenced their decision to stay long-term and eventually purchase their home within the community after their child's high school graduation.
The positive review emphasizes Jillian's care for the tenants and the community, highlighting her efforts to maintain cleanliness, safety, and a pleasant living environment. The community was reportedly sold to new ownership at the beginning of the year of the review (likely 2024, based on the timeline), and the reviewer expressed initial concerns about potential changes. However, they were reassured by the information that Jillian would remain as the on-site management team leader, which significantly eased their concerns due to the trust and respect she had earned. This suggests that the continuity of experienced management is a valued aspect within the community.
Furthermore, the long-term resident mentions that while concerns about potential lot rent increases under new ownership exist among tenants, Jillian had explained that the rents had been below market value for a considerable time and that the new owners have plans for future community improvements. This provides some context for potential changes and suggests a possible reinvestment in the community's infrastructure and amenities.
Overall, this long-term resident, having lived in Spring Lake for over a decade, expresses a positive sentiment, describing it as a place they love due to its proximity to various amenities, pet-friendly policy, and affordability, contributing to a "very pleasant place to live." This suggests that for some residents, Spring Lake offers a stable and desirable living environment with key advantages.
Considering these contrasting reviews, it is important for local users exploring "rv parks near me" or considering a move to Spring Lake Manufactured Housing Community to weigh these perspectives. The community appears to have undergone significant improvements under specific management, fostering a positive experience for at least some long-term residents. The pet-friendly nature and convenient location near local amenities are also highlighted as benefits.
However, the concerns raised by the former resident regarding rule enforcement and community appearance should also be taken into consideration. Potential new residents might want to inquire specifically about the current state of these issues and the management's approach to maintaining community standards under the new ownership. It would be beneficial to seek up-to-date information on community rules, maintenance procedures, and any planned improvements to get a comprehensive understanding of the current living conditions.
For local users who might be considering Spring Lake as a longer-term alternative to traditional "rv parks near me," the possibility of purchasing a home within the community could be an attractive feature. This offers a sense of permanence and investment that is not typically available in a rental-based RV park setting. The long-term resident's decision to buy their home after a decade of living there speaks to the potential for building a stable life within the community.
In terms of environment, the reviews provide limited direct descriptions of the physical surroundings. However, the mention of "eyesores" in one review suggests that the aesthetic appeal might vary depending on individual lots and the enforcement of community standards. The positive review does not contradict this directly but focuses more on the overall positive living experience attributed to management and location.
Specific services and features of Spring Lake Manufactured Housing Community are not detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, manufactured housing communities offer essential utilities (water, sewer, electricity), and residents are responsible for their individual homes and lot upkeep. It would be advisable for potential residents to inquire about lot rental fees, any community amenities (such as common areas, laundry facilities, or recreational spaces), and the process for home purchase if that is an interest.
Promotional information is not included in the provided text. Therefore, local users interested in Spring Lake Manufactured Housing Community should contact them directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about current availability, lot rental rates, any special offers, and to schedule a visit to assess the community firsthand. In conclusion, Spring Lake Manufactured Housing Community in Stevensville, MI, offers a potential long-term living solution for those considering alternatives to "rv parks near me." While past issues with rule enforcement have been noted, the community appears to have experienced significant positive changes under effective management, fostering a welcoming and stable environment for some residents. However, prospective residents should conduct thorough due diligence to understand the current community standards, amenities, and any potential changes under new ownership to make an informed decision.

Spring Lake Manufactured Housing Community Reviews
Place may be under new management, but I think the problem lies within and lack of rules being enforced for 10 years apparently. When I moved in, I asked about all the negative reviews and it was told that it was from the old management and owners. Same story as today. The manager had to drive past these places every six months to do my review so I know she saw it yet she did nothing to enforce the rules and get rid of this eyesore . They may have sold the place, but the same management is still there being cunning and disingenuous. This all happened under her watch so I’m not sure how anything has changed. All I can say is Choose your neighbors wisely because this is how my 4 1/2 years went. I left in August 2023. Pictures don’t lie. Some people have different rules than others and it shows.
Apr 29, 2025 · RobinI moved into the Community in 2014 with the intention of only being here for a few years. The first couple years we seemed to go thru quite a few different community managers and a lot of repairs and maintenance issues were often left unaddressed as well as enforcement of community rules. However, when Jillian Adey took over as the Community Manager years ago things really turned around! Even when decisions and actions that needed approval from Higher Management were in play she was always very good about keeping me informed of the status and potential timelines. The Community as an overall and my experience as a tenant improved 100% under her management. I made the decision to stay and eventually even to buy my home here in the community after my child graduated high school because of her leadership and my experience living in the community. It's obvious she cares about the tenants and the community and does her best to keep the community clean, safe, and a great place to live. The community was sold to a new owner as of the 1st of this year and although some changes are expected we were advised Jillian would still be leading the on site management team here which has soothed most concerns for me as she has already earned my trust and respect as the Community Manager. I know many tenants are concerned about lot rent increases under the new ownership but Jillian also explained that our rents here have been WAY below market for a very long time and further indicated the new owners have lots of awesome plans for further community improvements! All in all I have now been here over a decade and I love it! We are close to everything, pet friendly, and affordable, overall a very pleasant place to live.
Feb 21, 2025 · Tara UllischI have been here for 10 years and there has been a person that has continuously been leaving bad reviews. She has been out of the park for a long time and those videos that she put on with her review are very old.Since 2019-2020 there have been new homes put in and therefore new people, nobody was putting a camera in to see in her house they were putting in a security camera, her neighbor's were in the middle of building their new deck, and etc.Spring lake is under new ownership now so she should know what she's talking about before she makes false reviews and continues to harass. She harassed people when she lived here and she still continues to harass. She has been gone for years so she has no idea. The new owners are supposed to make even more improvements within the next year or 2 that will improve the park tremendously.
Jan 18, 2025 · Nicole BowerI appreciate the attentiveness of office staff when needed and the care they have for the residents. Aside from personal needs requiring updates to my lot, and lot rent increases continuing it seems, which I wish there was more improvements seen for the price, we are happy and feel safe where we live!
Jan 06, 2025 · Jena CurtisCorporate Slum lords they will try to steal your trailer. They try to evict people illegally and the management is rude, unpleasant, angry, impatient. They refuse to keep there lots up but then try to fine u for everything and anything. I think anyone thinking of moving hear should really look for somewhere else. I watched them take trailor after trailor from people after increasing lot rent continuously. They are crooks. All the way up the chain!
