Hollywood MHC Introduce
For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" in the St. Petersburg, Florida area, Hollywood MHC, located at 7230 4th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, USA, is a mobile home park that might appear as an affordable option in a competitive market. They can be contacted at (727) 526-2920 or +1 727-526-2920 for inquiries. However, it is crucial for potential residents, especially those considering a long-term stay in their RV, to carefully consider the overwhelmingly negative feedback recently shared by individuals familiar with Hollywood MHC. These reviews raise serious concerns across multiple aspects of the park.
One extensive review labels the park as "absolutely terrible," cautioning that while it may seem affordable, there is a significant "price to pay" that could result in the loss of any investment made into a property there. The reviewer alleges a contradiction regarding residency rules, stating that while renters are supposedly not allowed and background checks are claimed for all residents, there is a constant influx of undeclared individuals, often described as "brothers" or "sons," moving into the mobile homes, particularly on weekends. The reviewer doubts that these individuals undergo background checks, especially given the high number of people reportedly living in small units.
Significant plumbing issues are also highlighted, attributed to overcrowding in the mobile homes and allegedly substandard repair work done by the owners, referred to as "landlords." This suggests potential disruptions and inconveniences for residents, including those in RVs if they are connected to the park's plumbing system. Safety concerns are raised by the presence of numerous vehicles with out-of-state or expired tags and "shady characters" who reportedly observe residents' property. This contradicts any expectation of a safe environment, especially for families with children.
Further অভিযোগ include constant parking violations, with vehicles parked on grass and other residents' parking pads despite being prohibited. The reviewer mentions a former manager, Joe, who made promises but then suddenly retired without a new manager being introduced. This lack of consistent management could lead to unresolved issues and a lack of accountability. Grounds maintenance, such as lawn care, is described as inconsistent and often incomplete. Communication with the office is reportedly poor, with residents often ignored unless they visit in person.
The social environment within Hollywood MHC is also described negatively, with neighbors frequently being at odds and overly involved in each other's affairs. Concerns about the quality of work done on the mobile homes are raised, with accusations of amateur repairs leading to debris and potential hazards during hurricane winds. Alarmingly, instead of checking on residents after a hurricane, the owners allegedly sent out a lot rent increase, indicating a potential disregard for resident well-being in favor of financial gain.
The reviewer expresses regret over investing in improvements to their property, anticipating a significant financial loss due to the overall deteriorating condition of the park. They are actively seeking to leave as soon as possible to escape what they describe as a "circus."
A second review from a concerned daughter of a resident echoes the severe management issues, labeling the park owners as "a disgrace." This review highlights a critical safety concern: the lack of power to the resident's travel trailer following two hurricanes. Despite the electrical box on the pole reportedly needing repair, the owners have allegedly failed to take any action and are unresponsive to phone calls, emails, and in-person visits to the office. This complete lack of communication and failure to address a fundamental utility issue, especially after severe weather events, is deeply troubling and indicates a severe neglect of resident needs and safety.
Considering these consistent and serious negative reports, anyone searching for "RV parks near me" in St. Petersburg should exercise extreme caution when considering Hollywood MHC. The allegations of overcrowding, potential safety issues, poor maintenance, unresponsive and neglectful management, and a negative community environment paint a picture of a potentially undesirable and unstable living situation for long-term RV residents.
While the park's location in St. Petersburg might be appealing due to its proximity to urban amenities and attractions, the reported internal conditions and management practices appear to significantly outweigh any locational advantages. Potential RV residents should prioritize parks with positive reputations for responsive management, well-maintained facilities, and a safe and respectful community environment to ensure a more positive and secure long-term living experience.
Given the severity of the issues raised in the reviews, it is strongly recommended that individuals seeking "RV parks near me" thoroughly explore alternative options in the St. Petersburg area. The consistent negative feedback regarding management's responsiveness to essential needs, the alleged safety concerns, and the overall deteriorating living conditions at Hollywood MHC should serve as significant red flags for any prospective long-term RV resident.
In conclusion, the available online reviews for Hollywood MHC in St. Petersburg, Florida, present a highly concerning picture of the mobile home park. Allegations of mismanagement, safety issues, poor maintenance, and a negative community environment should give any prospective RV resident significant pause. It is strongly advised to look elsewhere when searching for "RV parks near me" in St. Petersburg, Florida, unless further, verifiable information indicates a significant and positive change in the park's management and overall conditions.

Hollywood MHC Reviews
This park is absolutely terrible. I know it can be affordable in this market, but there is a price to pay for that and you will lose any investment you make into a place there. They say that renters are not allowed and they do background checks on all residents, but everyone suddenly has a million “brothers” or “sons” that they move right in on the weekends. I highly doubt they are background checked especially when you have a revolving door of upwards of 10 random people living in a tiny 1 bedroom mobile home. Plumbing issues are always happening because there are way too many people living in most mobile homes and work on plumbing is not done correctly by owners aka “landlords”. Many cars have out of state and/or expired tags and shady characters that like to wonder and observe your property. So much for a place with children allowed that is supposed to be safe. There is constant parking on grass and other people’s parking pads which is prohibited. The Manager Joe made lots of promises, but very suddenly retired a month ago. We haven’t been introduced to any new manager since. The lawn gets done when they get to it and there are often spots missed. The office will ignore you unless you show up in person. The neighborhood is always at each others throats and in everyone’s business. Work to the mobile homes is done by amateurs resulting in unnecessary debris and flying objects during hurricane winds. Oh and instead of checking on residents or sending some sort of message hoping they are alright after Helene, they sent out a lot rent hike. Wish I could sell now, but I wouldn’t get much of my money back out of it even with all the quality improvements I’ve done since the rest of the place is falling apart and disgusting. I’m preparing to take a loss as soon as I can just to get away from the circus that is Hollywood Mobile Home Park.
Oct 05, 2024 · RachelThe owners of this park is a disgrace. My daughter lives there. It has gone through 2 hurricanes in that park, the second one Milton, she has had no power. They will not fix the electrical box on the Pole.By her travel trailer, nor will they answer phone calls or emails or any?One out at the office , no one replies to messages. So that being said i'm gonna have to make other phone calls to have this problem fixed
Oct 21, 2024 · joanne turkieVery large mobile home park. Many homes of widely varying age, condition and price very close together. Was there visiting a friend. Very convoluted access to various streets. Got lost the first time was there. Grounds are not the worst I've seen, at least there aren't huge piles of garbage at the dumpsters I saw.
Jul 06, 2023 · Tom ProwdaI live there for a little while right after they started allowing families, the problem and the real problem with the family Parks is they cannot request identity from an underage child or couldn't. So there was adult men who looked like they could be 16 or 17 moving in with their girlfriends claiming to be underage so that they never got ID'ed or background checked. That's not just there that's everywhere. However the time that I spent there actually assisted and me on my journey to purchase my own home and have my own life. Yard maintenance wasn't something you're worried about there at about four square feet of weeds. :-)I work from home so a good long time to watch how things work there. And it really depends upon what section of the park that you end up moving into. All of my close neighbors are military veterans and wonderful people.
