Gateway Mobile Home Park Introduce
Located at 10100 Gandy Blvd N in St. Petersburg, Florida, Gateway Mobile Home Park presents itself as a residential community offering mobile home living. For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category who might be considering a longer-term or permanent stay beyond typical recreational vehicle parks, Gateway Mobile Home Park offers a different style of community living. While primarily focused on mobile homes, it's worth exploring if they accommodate RVs seeking extended stays, though this is not explicitly mentioned in the provided information.
Based on the available reviews from residents, the environment of Gateway Mobile Home Park appears to have some notable positive aspects. One resident specifically mentions the "beautiful landscapes" within the park. This suggests that the management or residents take pride in maintaining an aesthetically pleasing environment with attention to greenery and overall visual appeal. Another particularly charming feature highlighted is the presence of swans, which are "dearly loved" by at least one resident, adding a unique and potentially attractive element to the park's ambiance.
However, the reviews also bring to light certain challenges and complexities within the community dynamics. Several residents have reported negative experiences related to interpersonal interactions. One review notes that "some of the people have been very intrusive of other residents' space and very catty with slandering remarks," leading the reviewer to conclude, "It is a trailer park after all." This comment suggests that while there may be positive aspects, potential residents should be aware of the possibility of less than ideal neighborly conduct.
Another resident who moved to Gateway Mobile Home Park from Jamestown, NY, echoes the sentiment of mixed experiences. They agree with another reviewer, Aimee C., that there are "some very nice people here." However, their experience has been significantly impacted by a problematic neighbor. This resident reports that a particular woman on their street "has the cops here once a week" and frequently runs her car "four and five times a hour" even during the "wee hours of the morning - All the time." This paints a picture of disruptive behavior that can significantly detract from the quality of life for those living nearby.
Furthermore, this reviewer expresses concerns about fairness and adherence to community rules, stating, "There are also those who are just above the prospectus, and get away with whatever." This suggests potential inconsistencies in the enforcement of park rules and regulations, which can lead to frustration among residents who expect a consistent and equitable living environment. The presence of "clicks and clans" is also mentioned, indicating that social dynamics within the park may involve some level of exclusivity or in-group behavior, which is a common phenomenon in many close-knit communities.
On a more positive note, one review highlights the responsiveness and effectiveness of the park management in addressing resident concerns. The reviewer specifically thanks William Hulett and Regional Manager, John, "for helping us with a difficult neighbor and situation!" They mention that the issue had been ongoing for two years and was finally resolved through their intervention. This suggests that while problems may arise, the management is willing and able to take action to mediate and resolve disputes, which is a crucial aspect of a well-managed community. The reviewer concludes with a hopeful wish that "everyone could just get along!!!"
Considering the "RV parks near me" category, the information provided does not explicitly state whether Gateway Mobile Home Park accommodates recreational vehicles for short-term or long-term stays. The focus of the reviews is clearly on the experiences of mobile home residents. Therefore, individuals searching for RV parks in the area should directly contact the park management at the provided phone number, (727) 576-1287 or +1 727-576-1287, to inquire about the availability of RV spaces, any specific amenities or services offered to RVs, and the terms for staying in the park.
In terms of services and features that can be inferred from the reviews, the presence of "beautiful landscapes" suggests that grounds maintenance is likely a service provided within the park. The mention of management intervention in neighbor disputes indicates that there is a process for addressing resident concerns, which can be considered a form of community support service. However, specific amenities such as laundry facilities, recreational areas (beyond the landscaping and swans), or organized activities are not mentioned in the provided reviews.
Promotional information is not explicitly present in the resident reviews. However, the positive mention of beautiful landscapes and the presence of swans could be considered unique selling points that might attract potential residents who value natural beauty and a distinctive environment. The resolution of a long-standing neighbor issue by the management could also be seen as a positive indicator of their commitment to resident well-being, although the fact that such issues arise in the first place should also be considered.
To summarize the features and considerations based on the available information:
- Beautiful landscapes within the park.
- Presence of swans, adding to the aesthetic appeal.
- Potential for positive neighborly interactions, as some residents are described as "very nice."
- However, there are reports of intrusive and catty behavior from some residents.
- Instances of disruptive behavior from certain individuals, such as excessive car idling at odd hours.
- Concerns about inconsistent enforcement of park rules and the existence of social cliques.
- Management has shown responsiveness in resolving significant neighbor disputes.
- Prospective residents seeking RV accommodations should contact the park directly for information.
In conclusion, Gateway Mobile Home Park in St. Petersburg, FL, offers a residential setting with attractive landscaping and unique wildlife in the form of swans. However, potential residents should be aware of the mixed experiences reported by current residents, including issues with neighborly conduct and concerns about the enforcement of park rules. The responsiveness of the management in resolving disputes is a positive aspect. Individuals interested in residing at Gateway Mobile Home Park, especially those looking for RV options within the "RV parks near me" category, are strongly advised to contact the park directly at (727) 576-1287 or +1 727-576-1287 to obtain detailed information about availability, policies, and services.

Apr 27, 2025 · Victor SarnoffIt is beautiful landscapes here, and we dearly love the swans! We moved here from Jamestown, NY not even two years ago yet. We have to agree with Aimee C., There are some very nice people here, but unfortunately we moved on a street where the woman who has the cops here once a week is unfortunately our neighbor! She runs her car four and five times a hour and does it in the wee hours of the morning - All the time. There are also those who are just above the prospectus, and get away with whatever. There are clicks and clans here like anywhere else! Thanks To William Hulett and Regional Manager, John for helping us with a difficult neighbor and situation! It has been two years and finally the matter is resolved! It would great if everyone could just get along!!!
Jul 12, 2024 · Pat FrontutoThis place is the biggest joke in the world they are money hungery and dont care about there residents the hole neighboorhood is going up for sale and they cannot keep regular residents. They like to raise the lot rent every year for in known reasons. This neighboor hood has had a lot of break in and there has been no preventative measures put into place to fix it. Also on bay street there is an active crack house along with a phyco who has the cops at her house once a week. Along the property line of bay street there is an uncompleted fence, multiple complaints have been filed and no one wants to fix the problem and stop the criminals at mid night from jumping it. My mom is sent nasty letters about parking on the grass or even near it at least once a week. It is said not to be allowed due to water lines that can break but in the pictures it shows they let there chosen few get away with it. So what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Right?????Also she is sent letters about an item about being out of place in or around her carport and have to fix it or shes in trouble but the other people who carport look like storage units get away with it. Also the same people win the christmas competition every year no matter how much time effort or money is put into the event. And to top it off they have swans they cross bread.
Feb 17, 2017 · ronald millerClean park but many safety concerns with the apartments and drug dealers and users that come In to this neighborhood freely. There have been shootings, a murder from a break in and other problems. Not every neighbor is nice I visited often and did not like the environment. This park is predominately all white Caucasian residents and lots of the residents are not happy with colors or other languages. They also have increased rent, cable and other things without warning.Water shut offs are not always advertised. They are off Gandy which is easy and free access to anyone. They should consider gates access for the seniors.Amenities are poor.Mostly old homes very highly priced. This is my opinion and I want to be true and sincere with my details.
Jan 18, 2024 · RuthCute, clean place. Nice pool area. The lots/homes are well maintained. Security cameras all over the place. Swans live in the pond, so pretty.
