Twin City MHC Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the St. Petersburg, Florida area, Twin City MHC, located at 10636 Gandy Blvd N, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, USA, is one option that may appear in your search results. They can be contacted at (727) 578-3000 or +1 727-578-3000. It is crucial to conduct thorough research and consider all available information, including recent customer feedback, when evaluating potential RV parks or mobile home communities for your needs.
Recent online reviews paint a concerning picture of the conditions and management at Twin City MHC. One reviewer expresses strong disapproval regarding the management's handling of residents whose homes were severely damaged by hurricanes. The reviewer states, "Pretty shitty how the management is still making people pay $750/month when their homes were totally destroyed by the hurricanes. It’s never too late to do the right thing!" This comment raises serious questions about the management's responsiveness to the needs of residents facing significant hardship due to natural disasters and could be a significant deterrent for potential RVers or long-term residents.
Another review provides a stark assessment of the overall state of the property, describing Twin City MHC as "a mess." The reviewer elaborates on several critical issues, including "constantly flooding," "terrible" roads, and frequent power outages. The statement, "Power goes out on a regular basis," suggests significant infrastructure problems that could severely impact the comfort and convenience of residents and RV visitors. Reliable utilities are a fundamental expectation for any RV park or mobile home community, and frequent power disruptions would be a major drawback.
The same reviewer concludes with a regretful sentiment, stating, "Wish I never moved here." This strong negative statement underscores the severity of the issues experienced by at least one resident and should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating a stay at Twin City MHC.
Based on this recent feedback, it appears that Twin City MHC is facing significant challenges related to infrastructure, environmental conditions (flooding), and potentially the management's responsiveness to resident needs, particularly in crisis situations. These are critical factors that any individual searching for "RV parks near me" should take into account.
When evaluating "RV parks near me," prospective visitors typically look for a range of essential features and services, including:
- Well-maintained and level RV sites with appropriate hookups (electric, water, sewer).
- Safe and accessible roads within the park.
- Reliable utility services, including electricity, water, and waste management.
- Adequate drainage to prevent flooding, especially in areas prone to heavy rainfall or hurricanes.
- Responsive and professional management that addresses resident concerns promptly and fairly.
- Clean and functional amenities such as restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities.
- Potentially, recreational amenities like a pool or community center.
According to the recent reviews, Twin City MHC seems to be falling short in several of these critical areas, particularly regarding flooding, road conditions, power reliability, and potentially management practices. These issues could significantly detract from the quality of life for long-term residents and the overall experience for short-term RV visitors.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in St. Petersburg, Florida, it would be prudent to thoroughly investigate other options and compare the services, amenities, and, most importantly, the recent experiences of other visitors and residents. The negative feedback regarding Twin City MHC suggests that potential visitors should exercise caution and seek more information before making a decision.
If you are still considering Twin City MHC, it would be essential to contact the management directly at (727) 578-3000 or +1 727-578-3000 to inquire about the issues raised in the reviews. You may want to ask about their plans to address the flooding problems, the condition of the roads, the frequency and causes of power outages, and their policies regarding residents affected by natural disasters. Their responses and the transparency they provide could offer further insight into the current state of the community.
Given the severity of the concerns raised in the recent reviews, it is recommended that those searching for "RV parks near me" in St. Petersburg, FL, explore alternative options that have received more positive and consistent feedback regarding their infrastructure, management, and overall living conditions. While Twin City MHC is geographically located in the area, the reported issues suggest it may not provide the level of comfort, reliability, and service that RV travelers and long-term residents typically expect.
In conclusion, based on recent customer reviews, Twin City MHC in St. Petersburg, Florida, appears to be facing significant challenges related to flooding, road conditions, power outages, and potentially management practices. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in this area should carefully consider this feedback and conduct thorough due diligence, including direct inquiries with the management, before making a decision. Exploring alternative RV park options in the St. Petersburg area with more positive recent reviews is strongly recommended.

Jun 12, 2024 · Jose RodriguezThis place used to be pretty nice. It's gone downhill in the last 2-3 years. "Management" (if you can call it that) has done NOTHING to stop this place from flooding. Everytime it rains longer than 20 minutes, the community is flooded. They know the proper steps to take, they know the plan of action that is needed, but they choose to keep trying to sell these rundown homes instead of trying to keep the last of the residents this place will get. We miss the old Twin City. Not the Lakeshore one. "Twin City: A Lakeshore Community"
