Environment: Conveniently Located Near Clemson University
The primary environmental characteristic highlighted by customer reviews for Clemson RV Park At The Grove is its strategic location. One reviewer specifically notes that it is a "great spot only 12 min from the Clemson stadium!" This proximity to Clemson University and its athletic facilities, particularly Memorial Stadium, makes this RV park an exceptionally convenient option for those visiting the university for football games or other events. Another reviewer confirms this, stating that the park is "very close to Clemson University" and understands that it is "usually completely booked during football season." This suggests that the environment is one of accessibility to the university and its surrounding attractions. While the natural setting of the park itself is not extensively described, the mention of "clean sites" implies a well-maintained and tidy environment within the park boundaries. One reviewer described the sites as "roomy (long ways not side to side)," indicating that while the width might be standard, the length of the sites is accommodating for larger RVs. The park is located in Pendleton, SC, which is in the upstate region of South Carolina, known for its scenic beauty, although the reviews do not elaborate on specific natural features of the park itself. The name "At The Grove" might suggest some trees or a more natural setting within the park, but this is not explicitly confirmed in the provided reviews. Local users prioritizing ease of access to Clemson University will find the location to be a significant environmental advantage.
Services: Helpful Host and Functional Amenities
The customer reviews provide insights into the services offered at Clemson RV Park At The Grove. One reviewer specifically mentioned, "The host was very nice and helpful," indicating a positive interaction with the park's management. This suggests a welcoming and supportive service orientation. Another reviewer noted that "While the park is nothing fancy, it serves a purpose," implying that while it might not offer extensive luxury amenities, it provides the essential services needed for a comfortable stay. The reviewer who stayed for a Christmas visit also indicated a positive experience and stated, "The next time we visit with family, we'll stay here," suggesting that the services met their needs for a family visit.
While a comprehensive list of services is not provided, based on typical RV park offerings and the positive feedback, we can anticipate the following likely services:
- RV Sites with Hookups: As it is an RV park, it is highly probable that they offer sites with essential hookups for water, electricity, and sewer. The "roomy (long ways not side to side)" description suggests the sites are equipped to accommodate RVs. Local users should inquire about the specifics of electrical hookups (e.g., 30 amp, 50 amp).
- Clean Sites: The direct mention of "clean sites" indicates that the individual parking areas are maintained.
- Helpful Host/Management: The positive feedback about the host suggests a responsive and supportive management team.
Based on the reviews, there is a suggestion for an additional amenity, with one reviewer stating, "only issue is would love to see a small swing set or playground for kids!" This indicates that while the park is clean and functional, it may currently lack specific recreational facilities for children. Local users traveling with young children may want to inquire if there are any plans for such additions. It would also be prudent for local users to contact the park directly at (864) 228-2858 or +1 864-228-2858 to inquire about other standard RV park services such as Wi-Fi availability, laundry facilities, and the condition of any shared restrooms or showers, if provided.

Apr 29, 2025 · Darryl PowellWe stayed at the Clemson RV Park while visiting our grandson and his family for Christmas. The host was very nice and helpful. While the park is nothing fancy, it serves a purpose as it was around 30 minutes from our family.I understand that they are usually completely booked during football season. They are located very close to Clemson University. The next time we visit with family, we'll stay here.
Jan 17, 2025 · Ginny LyonWe limped into the campground about 9 am with our front axle barely hanging on. I explained our situation and that sharp turns were my enemy but we needed a place to park while I drove 3 hours on Saturday to the closest place that was open and had the parts we needed to fix it and we would be leaving after we fixed it. They really went above and beyond to help me and made it as easy as possible. So we arrived long before check in and left long after check out, so I owed 2 days basically, and they did not charge us the second day. We didn't use much or explore much but this is a meticulously maintained resort with many amenities and nice, well manicured sites and the people, all we encountered, were wonderful and pleasant to deal with. I cannot thank them enough but we will be back.
Dec 30, 2024 · Barry MartinetteThis park has been home for my husband and me for almost 2 years now and we love it here! The staff and owners have always been pleasant and welcoming and they plan the greatest events for their campers. Food and live bands during home game weekends, an annual BBQ competition, and random food truck days to shake things up, it's awesome! There are multiple bath houses in various locations to accommodate the size of the park as well as multiple laundry rooms. My personal favorite is the large refreshing pool with plenty of loungers and shaded areas to sit.Plan your stay at Clemson RV Park at the Grove!
