Jurassic RV Park Introduce
When searching for “RV parks near me” in the Granbury, Texas region, Jurassic RV Park, located at 4621 State Hwy 144, Granbury, TX 76048, USA, presents itself as an option. To provide local users with a detailed and objective introduction, it’s essential to consider the various aspects of the park based on available information.
In terms of services, Jurassic RV Park offers full hookups for RVs, which is a significant convenience for travelers seeking water, electricity, and sewer connections. This fundamental amenity ensures a comfortable and self-sufficient stay for RV owners. Additionally, reviews indicate that the staff at Jurassic RV Park are friendly, which can contribute positively to the overall guest experience. A welcoming and helpful staff can make a considerable difference in resolving any issues and providing a pleasant atmosphere.
Regarding the environment and features of the park, some aspects have received mixed feedback. Several reviewers have pointed out that the trees within the park need trimming. Overgrown trees can pose a risk to RVs, potentially causing scratches or damage as vehicles maneuver through the park. This is a crucial factor for RV owners to consider, especially those with newer or larger trailers. Another environmental factor mentioned is the park's proximity to the highway. Being located close to a major road can result in traffic noise, which may affect the tranquility of the stay for some guests. Individuals sensitive to noise might want to inquire about the location of specific campsites within the park relative to the highway.
One notable feature, as highlighted by a reviewer, is the presence of long-term residents within the RV park. While long-term residents can sometimes foster a sense of community, there are also potential drawbacks mentioned in the reviews. One guest reported instances of noise disturbances late at night, specifically involving yelling and appliance dismantling after 10 PM. Additionally, concerns were raised about the appearance of some long-term residents' lots, with one described as resembling a "junk yard" and others noted to have a significant amount of items stored outside. These observations suggest a potential lack of uniformity or enforcement of site tidiness, which could impact the overall aesthetic and experience for short-term visitors.
Despite these concerns, the reviews also shed light on some positive aspects. One reviewer specifically mentioned an exceptionally kind and hospitable long-term resident named Beverly, stating that she is a significant reason for wanting to return to the area. This personal interaction highlights the potential for positive community within the park. Furthermore, multiple reviews commend the owner and his wife, who owns a flooring store adjacent to the RV park, for being very nice people. The positive interactions with the owners can contribute to a more welcoming and accommodating atmosphere for guests.
The lawn maintenance at Jurassic RV Park was noted as being good, indicating that at least some aspects of the park's upkeep are well-managed. This suggests that while tree trimming may be needed, other areas of the grounds are maintained to a satisfactory level.
Considering the feedback, potential local users searching for “RV parks near me” should weigh the pros and cons of Jurassic RV Park. The full hookups and friendly staff are definite advantages. The positive comments about the owner and a specific long-term resident also suggest a welcoming community for some. However, the reported issues with untrimmed trees, proximity to the highway leading to potential noise, and disturbances caused by some long-term residents, along with concerns about the tidiness of some lots, are factors that should be taken into consideration.
Currently, no specific promotional information was provided in the reviews. Therefore, local users interested in Jurassic RV Park are encouraged to contact them directly at (254) 897-1223 or +1 254-897-1223 to inquire about current rates, availability, and any ongoing promotions. It would also be prudent to ask about the park's policies regarding tree maintenance, noise levels, and the appearance of campsites.
In conclusion, Jurassic RV Park offers essential services like full hookups and has a friendly staff and owner, which are positive attributes. However, potential guests should be aware of the reported issues concerning the need for tree trimming, the park's proximity to the highway, and potential noise and aesthetic concerns related to some long-term resident areas. Local RVers seeking “RV parks near me” in Granbury should consider these points when making their decision and may want to contact the park directly for more information to ensure it meets their specific needs and expectations.

Jurassic RV Park Reviews
Took our brand new travel trailer here for our very first trip ever. The trees need trimming. Our brand new travel trailer has scratches now. The other issue was they have full time residents here that were not quiet. Yelling at their child while taking apart appliances after 10 PM was a bit much. Their lot looked like a junk yard. Most of the residents do have a lot of things stored outside.I did meet a resident here that was the sweetest, nicest, most hospitable woman I've ever met. Her name is Beverly. Everytime we go to Glen Rose I want to stop and talk with her. She is one of the reasons I would go back. The other reason is the owner. His wife owns the flooring store next to the rv park. They are both very nice people. There were reviews about how nice the owner was, that is why we stayed here.
May 05, 2021 · Coni VasbinderThe staff was friendly the lawn looked good, and they had full hook ups.The trees needed to be trimmed, and it is too close to the highway.
Jun 13, 2020 · Robert GilliamWell when the first RV came running down the hill, chasing after a dinosaur, I decided right off that not only was this a great place, but that is i get another dog , if it is a boy, I'll name it Shirley, cause this will confuse the dog and the Jurassic RVs will be able to park with out a transgender dog trying to lick peaniut butter off the fenders
