Kenner Trailer Park & Rentals Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Kenner, Louisiana area, or are exploring affordable housing options, Kenner Trailer Park & Rentals, located at 2517 Reverend Richard Wilson Dr, Kenner, LA 70062, USA, offers a variety of rental opportunities. You can contact them at (504) 201-1917 or +1 504-201-1917 to inquire about availability and specific terms. Based on the available customer reviews, Kenner Trailer Park & Rentals appears to cater to individuals seeking budget-friendly living solutions, with a range of options from lot rentals for those with their own RVs to park-owned camper and mobile home rentals, as well as on-site rent houses.
One detailed positive review describes Kenner Trailer Park & Rentals as "a great place to live if you are just starting out or don't have a lot of money." This suggests that the park aims to provide affordable housing options within the Kenner area. The reviewer highlights a degree of flexibility and understanding from the landlord regarding rent payments, particularly for those who may need some initial assistance. They mention that the landlord is willing to work with tenants on deposits and allows move-in once the first month's rent is fully paid. This approach could be beneficial for individuals facing financial constraints when securing housing.
The same reviewer also emphasizes a relatively permissive environment, stating, "As long as you don't cause any harm or trouble to anyone else or their property you can just about do whatever you want." This suggests a community that values peace and respect among residents, with a focus on maintaining a harmonious living environment. The landlord and landlady are described as "very nice and helpful," and the reviewer notes their willingness to assist residents with their needs, either by providing help directly or guiding them to find resources elsewhere. This positive portrayal of the management suggests a supportive and approachable landlord-tenant relationship.
The review provides valuable information regarding rental costs and what is included:
- Lot Rental (for owned campers, trailers, or RVs): Ranging from $300 to $750 per month. This suggests that the price may vary based on the size or location of the lot. It's important to note that utilities are not explicitly mentioned as included in this option, so prospective tenants should clarify this.
- Camper Rentals (park-owned): All are priced at $550 per month, which includes all utilities. This all-inclusive pricing can offer budget certainty for renters.
- Mobile Homes/Trailers (park-owned): Most are $550 per month, with one exception at $750 per month. Tenants in mobile homes/trailers pay their own utilities, which is a standard arrangement for this type of rental.
- Rent Houses (on-site): Both are $650 per month, plus utilities. These offer a more traditional housing option within the trailer park setting.
However, a contrasting review presents a negative first impression of the management. This reviewer recounts calling the company and being met with a rude and unprofessional response from the owner, who allegedly answered the phone with "WHAT." The reviewer expressed confusion and stated their inquiry about trailer park rental, to which the owner reportedly replied, "that's what is" in a similarly abrupt manner. This experience led the reviewer to give a zero-star rating, highlighting a potential inconsistency in the customer service experience. It's important to consider that this is just one isolated account, but it does raise a flag regarding potential communication challenges with the management.
Kenner is a city in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, located near the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and offering a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. Living at Kenner Trailer Park & Rentals would provide residents with access to the amenities and services available in Kenner, including shopping, dining, and transportation links. The specific environment of the trailer park itself is not detailed in the reviews, but one can infer a community of diverse housing types, catering to individuals with varying budgetary needs.
For those initially searching for "RV parks near me," Kenner Trailer Park & Rentals does offer lot rentals for those who own their RVs. The price range of $300 to $750 per month for lot rental suggests that it might be a more budget-conscious option compared to some traditional RV parks, although the inclusion of utilities would need to be confirmed. The park also provides an alternative for those who do not own an RV but are interested in the lifestyle by offering park-owned camper rentals with all utilities included for a fixed monthly rate of $550.
To gain a clearer understanding of Kenner Trailer Park & Rentals, prospective tenants should contact the management directly to inquire about:
- Current availability of lots, campers, mobile homes, and rent houses.
- Specific terms of the lease agreements for each type of rental.
- Details about which utilities are included in the lot rental fee.
- The size and condition of the park-owned campers and mobile homes.
- Any rules and regulations of the park.
- Pet policies.
- Security measures in place within the park.
- The overall environment and community feel of the park.
The positive review paints a picture of an affordable community with a helpful and flexible landlord, while the negative review raises concerns about the initial phone interaction. It is possible that the experience varies depending on the individual and the circumstances. Therefore, direct communication with the management is crucial for potential residents to form their own informed opinion.
In conclusion, Kenner Trailer Park & Rentals in Kenner, LA, offers a range of affordable housing options, including lot rentals for RV owners and park-owned campers and mobile homes. The positive review highlights the landlord's understanding approach and the inclusive nature of water, garbage, and landscaping services. However, the negative feedback regarding phone etiquette suggests a potential area for improvement in customer service. For those seeking budget-friendly living in Kenner, or those with their own RV looking for an affordable lot rental, Kenner Trailer Park & Rentals is worth investigating further, with a direct call to the management to clarify terms and assess the environment.

Kenner Trailer Park & Rentals Reviews
It's a great place to live if you are just starting out or don't have a lot of money and will need the help and patience of the landlord about paying your rent on time. They will work with you on all deposits and when the full amount of the first month rent has been paid you can move in. As long as you don't cause any harm or trouble to anyone else or their property you can just about do whatever you want. The landlord and landlady are very nice and helpful. If you need anything at all they will provide it if they can or will tell you where you can get the information to find it somewhere else. The rent is pretty cheap ranging from $300 to $750 for lot rental (if u own ur own camper, trailer, or rv) all campers are $550 and includes all utilities, Mobile homes/trailers are all $550 except one that is $750 and you pay your own utilities, and the two rent houses that are on site are each $650 plus utilities. No matter what you rent water, garbage and landscaping are included.
