Kettle Campground Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the charming Eureka Springs, Arkansas area? Kettle Campground, located at 4119 E Van Buren, Eureka Springs, AR 72632, USA, presents itself as a camping destination offering both RV sites and cabin rentals. You can reach them at (479) 253-9100 or their mobile number, +1 479-253-9100, for inquiries and reservations. Based on recent customer feedback, Kettle Campground offers a mixed experience, with positive remarks regarding staff and facilities contrasted by concerns about addressing disruptive guest behavior and customer service follow-up.
One positive aspect highlighted in a recent review is the friendly and helpful nature of the staff. The reviewer specifically mentioned Brian, Austin, and Chris, noting their excellent service and how they seemed dedicated to running the campground effectively. Chris, in particular, was described as "a delight" who made guests feel cared for. This positive feedback suggests that Kettle Campground prioritizes a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere, which can significantly enhance the overall camping experience. For those looking for "RV parks near me" where friendly service is a priority, this aspect of Kettle Campground may be appealing.
The facilities at Kettle Campground also received positive comments. One reviewer who stayed in a cabin described it as "beautiful" and well-equipped with everything they could ask for, including a coffee station and a small mini-kitchen, which were noted as upgrades from a previous stay under different ownership. This suggests that the campground has been investing in improving its accommodations. Additionally, the bathhouse was described as "spotless," indicating a commitment to cleanliness, which is a crucial factor for many campers when choosing "RV parks near me." The reviewer felt they received good value for their money, suggesting that Kettle Campground offers reasonably priced and well-maintained facilities.
Another positive point mentioned is the apparent improvement of the campground under new ownership. A returning guest noted significant positive changes compared to their previous stay years ago, indicating that Kettle Campground is evolving and striving to offer a better experience for its visitors. This suggests a proactive approach to campground management and a willingness to invest in upgrades and improvements, which can be reassuring for potential guests seeking "RV parks near me" that are well-maintained and customer-focused.
However, it is essential to present a balanced view, as one reviewer recounted a significantly negative experience during their one-night stay. They described a neighboring RV guest exhibiting disruptive behavior, including yelling and cursing loudly at multiple times throughout the night and early morning. Despite promptly reporting the issue to the campground staff, the reviewer expressed disappointment with the lack of follow-up from management and an incorrect refund amount. This incident raises concerns about the campground's ability to effectively address disruptive guest behavior and their commitment to resolving customer service issues promptly and satisfactorily. For potential guests prioritizing a peaceful and secure environment when searching for "RV parks near me," this review highlights a potential area of concern.
The contrasting reviews paint a picture of a campground with positive attributes, such as friendly staff, clean and upgraded facilities (particularly the cabins and bathhouse), and apparent improvements under new ownership. However, the negative experience reported by one guest regarding disruptive behavior and customer service follow-up is a significant factor that potential visitors should consider. While the initial interaction with the staff member at the counter was described as "very nice and professional," the lack of subsequent management involvement and the incorrect refund are concerning.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Eureka Springs, Kettle Campground offers a location near the town and appears to provide well-maintained facilities, especially the cabins and bathhouse. The friendly staff mentioned in one review is also a positive aspect. However, potential guests should be aware of the reported issue with disruptive behavior and the subsequent lack of satisfactory resolution from management. It might be prudent to inquire about the campground's policies regarding guest conduct and how they handle noise complaints or other disturbances to ensure a peaceful stay.
The positive review also directly addressed a concern raised in a separate, unprovided review about ticks, suggesting that the campground itself may not be the primary source of the issue and that individual precautions are necessary, especially during certain times of the year. This highlights the importance of considering the natural environment of the region when camping and taking appropriate personal protective measures.
In conclusion, Kettle Campground in Eureka Springs, AR, offers a mix of positive and negative experiences based on the available customer feedback. The friendly staff and clean, upgraded facilities, particularly the cabins and bathhouse, are notable advantages. The apparent improvements under new ownership also suggest a positive trajectory for the campground. However, the reported incident involving disruptive guest behavior and the lack of follow-up from management raises concerns about the responsiveness to guest issues. For those seeking "RV parks near me" in Eureka Springs, Kettle Campground warrants consideration, but potential guests should weigh the positive aspects against the reported negative experience and perhaps inquire further about the campground's policies and procedures for ensuring a comfortable and peaceful environment for all visitors.
Before making a reservation at Kettle Campground, local users searching for "RV parks near me" might want to consider reading any other available reviews online to get a broader perspective on recent guest experiences. Additionally, contacting the campground directly to inquire about their policies on guest conduct, noise control, and customer service resolution could provide further clarity and help in making an informed decision. While the clean facilities and friendly staff are appealing, understanding how the campground addresses and resolves issues is crucial for ensuring a satisfactory camping experience.

Kettle Campground Reviews
My husband and I stayed one night here, was supposed to be two but our first night was terrible. There was another person in a RV next to us that decided to come out yelling and cussing at the top of his lungs at 3am, again during the early morning hours and he was out yelling and screaming stomping around right outside our vehicle before we left around 8:30 am. We immediately called the campground to let them know what was happening, the girl at the counter was very nice and professional and assured us that she would let management know and they would call in the next couple of hours and process a refund for us as we definitely did not want to stay any longer. Cool, great. Well no phone call ever came and we were only refunded for one night instead of the two. I was really disappointed that no one from management ever reached out to us, I guess they weren't too concerned about it. Definitely will not stay again, I suggest you find another campground that is nicer and more professional.
Feb 27, 2025 · Lauren WoodardI absolutely loved this campground. Brian and Austin are terrific at running the place. Stayed in a beautiful cabin, we had everything we could ask for. The boys seemed to have a lot of work, but they only had super nice things to say about the owners. We stayed at this campground years ago when someone else owned it and it's so nice now. The bath house is spotless and you really get what you pay for. Chris checked us in and he was a delight. He asked about us and made us feel like he cared. We had a coffee station in our cabin and a small mini kitchen. Those items have been upgraded from our last stay. We will be back as the entire campground is so nice. Unlike another reviewer who posted about the ticks we didn't get one the entire stay, maybe she should watch where she's walking because it's that time of year and not blame the campground for her not looking out where she is going. Can't wait to be back and stay in our cabin again.
Jun 21, 2024 · Dawn TaylorGreat campground with fhu and can accommodate bigger rigs in some sites. Very good wi-fi and cell service. Clean facilities and laundry room and a trolley stop to get you around ES.The star of this campground has to be the customer service, though. Chris checked us in and he is an absolute gem! He was so helpful and informative and just a genuinely happy person. We absolutely will be back!
