Knollwood Village Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users searching within the category of "rv parks near me" who may be considering long-term residential options such as mobile home parks, Knollwood Village Mobile Home Park located at 100 Collins Dr, Knollwood, TX 75092, USA, presents a community with both positive and negative feedback regarding the living experience. It's crucial for prospective residents to weigh these contrasting perspectives when evaluating potential long-term housing arrangements. You can contact the park at (903) 893-5632 or via mobile at +1 903-893-5632 for further inquiries.
One resident describes Knollwood Village as a place where "tranquility is abundant." They highlight the "nice area" and "great neighborhood," noting that the people are "friendly and down to earth." Furthermore, this reviewer praises the management as "great" and commends their ability to resolve issues promptly. Based on this feedback, Knollwood Village appears to offer a peaceful and welcoming environment with effective management, making it an appealing option for those seeking a quiet residential setting.
However, another resident presents a significantly different perspective, expressing strong concerns about the increasing cost of living within the park. This reviewer points out a consistent pattern of annual lot rent increases, describing the management's justification of these increases as "fair and reasonable" as "completely out of touch with the people who actually live here and pay it." They cite a specific instance of a $30 increase, bringing their total lot rent to $595, which includes a $50 monthly fee just to rent a shed, as purchasing one is reportedly no longer allowed. The recurring annual rent hikes are a major point of contention for this resident, who states they are "desperately trying to leave this place" but are currently unable to sell their home.
These contrasting reviews paint a complex picture of Knollwood Village Mobile Home Park. On one hand, the park is portrayed as a tranquil and friendly community with responsive management. This suggests a positive living environment where residents may enjoy peace and good neighborly relations, with the assurance that management will address issues efficiently. This could be particularly attractive to individuals seeking a calm and well-maintained place to live.
On the other hand, the issue of consistently increasing lot rent and the policy regarding shed rentals raise significant financial concerns for at least one resident. The feeling of being "out of touch" expressed by the reviewer regarding the rent increases suggests a potential disconnect between the management's perspective on affordability and the financial realities faced by some residents. The inability to purchase a shed and the necessity of renting one at an additional monthly cost further contribute to the perceived financial burden.
Given this mixed feedback, prospective residents should carefully consider their priorities and financial situations. The park may indeed offer a tranquil and friendly environment with good management, as one reviewer suggests. However, the consistent increases in lot rent and the shed rental policy are factors that could significantly impact the long-term affordability of living in Knollwood Village.
Information regarding specific services and features of Knollwood Village Mobile Home Park is limited in these reviews. The mention of lot rent and shed rental implies that the park provides lots for mobile homes and may offer shed rentals as an additional service. However, details about other amenities such as laundry facilities, community centers, recreational areas, or the upkeep of common grounds are not provided. Similarly, information about park rules, regulations, or any included utilities is absent.
No promotional information, such as move-in specials or discounts, is mentioned in the available reviews. Local users interested in learning about such offers would need to contact Knollwood Village Mobile Home Park directly.
Considering the platform category is "rv parks near me," it's important to clarify that Knollwood Village Mobile Home Park appears to be a community for long-term mobile home residency rather than short-term RV stays. Individuals seeking temporary RV parking in the Knollwood area would likely need to look at dedicated RV parks or campgrounds.
For local users in the Knollwood, Texas area who are considering a long-term living situation in a mobile home park, Knollwood Village presents a community with notable positive aspects, such as tranquility, a friendly neighborhood, and responsive management. However, the significant concern raised by a resident regarding consistent lot rent increases and shed rental policies should not be overlooked. Potential residents should seek further information about the history of lot rent increases, the specifics of the shed rental policy, and any other fees or charges associated with living in the park to make an informed decision about long-term affordability.
It would be beneficial for prospective residents to visit Knollwood Village, if possible, to assess the environment firsthand and potentially speak with current residents (in addition to those who have posted online reviews) to gain a broader understanding of the community and the management's practices. Direct interaction could provide valuable insights into the day-to-day living experience and help to reconcile the varying perspectives presented in the limited available feedback.
In conclusion, for local users exploring "rv parks near me" with an openness to long-term mobile home living in Knollwood, Texas, Knollwood Village Mobile Home Park offers a community described by some as tranquil and friendly with great management. However, potential residents must also be aware of concerns regarding consistent lot rent increases and shed rental policies, which could impact the affordability of living there long-term. Thorough due diligence, including direct inquiries to the management and, if possible, conversations with current residents, is strongly recommended before making a decision about residing in Knollwood Village Mobile Home Park. Contacting the park directly at the provided phone numbers is essential to obtain current and detailed information.

Tranquility is abundant here. Nice area, great neighborhood, people are friendly and down to earth. Management is great and resolves issues promptly. I highly recommend it for people who just want to live in Peace
Jan 23, 2025 · Benjamin Hancock-BeyRaising the lot rent and claiming it’s “fair and reasonable” feels completely out of touch with the people who actually live here and pay it. Yet again, there’s another $30 increase, bringing my total to $595—$50 of which is just to rent a shed because purchasing one isn’t even allowed anymore. The lot rent goes up every single year without fail. I’m desperately trying to leave this place, but I haven’t been able to sell my home yet.
Jan 25, 2025 · Elena B.Nice neighborhood, Quiet most of the time, but the new owners are based in Colorodo and have raised the lot rent 3 times. In 2018 it was $250 per month. In 2024 it is over $460. Yes, come live here if you enjoy a steady increase in the price of your lot.
Mar 20, 2024 · Billy KingThis place is an amazing place to live! They keep up the community, so it's always looking nice and they are great about planning community events to bring everyone together. The owners are always so welcoming and nice and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to call home.
May 27, 2023 · Rhiannon LaneI've been here about 6 months now and I love it! The staff and residents are so friendly and helpful. It's quiet at night and it's close to shopping and a wide variety of restaurants.
