While the absence of positive reviews makes it difficult to provide a balanced perspective from resident experiences, the detailed negative feedback serves as a critical piece of information for anyone conducting due diligence. Such reviews strongly suggest the necessity for prospective residents to proceed with extreme caution, thoroughly investigate all claims, and engage directly with both the current management and potentially other residents before considering Lake Village Manufactured Home Community as a residential option. The claims of "slum lords" and excessive charges further reinforce the need for meticulous review of lease agreements and financial terms. The significant discrepancy between a typical expectation of a manufactured home community and the described experiences of dissatisfaction is paramount for any prospective resident to consider.
In summary, Lake Village Manufactured Home Community in Winona, MN, is a manufactured home park offering permanent residential lots. While its location provides access to the amenities of Winona, the available public reviews present a severely negative perspective on resident experiences, citing allegations of misconduct, hostility, and property issues. For anyone searching for "RV Parks Near Me" and considering manufactured home living, these reviews necessitate a very cautious approach and thorough investigation into the community's current management practices and resident satisfaction.

Lake Village Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Living at Lake Village Trailer Homes in Goodview, Minnesota was one of the worst experiences of my life. We owned our trailer and only rented the lot, but the landlord, Karen, made our time there unbearable. She was openly racist, constantly threatening to move or get rid of our belongings, and created a hostile, unsafe environment for my family.Eventually, she evicted us without just cause, giving us only one week to move out. Before we could even leave, she had her maintenance crew enter our privately owned trailer without permission, changed the locks, and took the keys. We were locked out of our own home and had to ask her just to get inside. She even forced my partner to remodel the home before she’d allow us to sell it to a friend. After the sale, we left a small garage structure from Sam’s Club on the lot that had some of our belongings—baby clothes, a stroller, a $2,000 grill, dishes, and more. Karen stole everything. She claimed it was thrown away, but maintenance workers later told us she kept most of it for herself or to resell. We reached out to corporate, but nothing was ever done. Karen was a horrible landlord who abused her position and made our lives miserable. The entire experience was so traumatizing that I can honestly say: even if I were homeless, I would never go back to live at Goodview Trailer Homes—not in a million years.Stay far away.If I could give this place 0 stars I would
May 02, 2025 · Brenda MaldonadoThe new people are slum lords. They overcharge and if lot rent isn't paid on the first they file eviction papers with the court and charge you extra. Wish I never bought from them now!
May 02, 2025 · JoAnn LarsonI have to say that we finally have a manager that is doing a great job. I've been out here since 1973 when my parents moved out here. There was only 7 homes at the time. Now there are many homes. I want to say that he put in a new wonderful playground for the kids, fixing the roads, taking down dead trees. and this last winter they plowed the street really good. Every month you get a news letter and he is always have a sign up for something. Keep up the good JOB,. Makes living her a better place.
Apr 30, 2021 · Bonnie KohnerFinally we have a manager who is doing a good job and fixing up the place. He is working really hard with cooperate and getting things done. We will be getting new playground equipment and he is working with cooperate to get the roads fixed. It also nice to finally see the odd green house being painted and things being cleaned up.. The manager is working hard and I fully support him!!! It's not magic. Things will take time! But he Is already doing more than any other past manager!!!
Aug 10, 2020 · Shelby KingsleyManager informed us on phone they allow up to 2 small dogs to our understanding when renting a trailer. After we drove 9 hours to look at trailers, he informed us if we have 2 dogs we're going to have problems because they only allow up to 1 pet per trailer when renting. Simply telling my husband this is frustrating cuz we drove all this way for nothing, he literally freaked out, and became very rude. Even if he allows both dogs which are used for therapy needs and a special needs child, I don't know if I care to rent from somebody that unprofessional. Simply stating we only allow this, vs. his handling of situation are 2 different things. He was beyond unprofessional, and should understand somebody being frustrated that's in our position. Simply stating frustration is no reason to fly off the handle like he did.
