The services at Nelson's Landing RV Park are comprehensive and designed to meet the needs of modern RVers. A key offering is the provision of full hookups at all sites. This means that campers have access to water, sewer, and electrical connections, ensuring a hassle-free experience for their RVs. Reviewers confirm that "all utilities worked as they should," which speaks to the reliability and quality of the park's infrastructure. Beyond the essential hookups, the park also boasts highly praised bathroom and laundry facilities. While some campers may not use these due to their RV's amenities, those who have observed them describe them as "amazing," featuring "individual private bathrooms and showers." This emphasis on private and clean facilities is a significant advantage, offering a level of comfort and privacy often sought but not always found in many "RV Parks Near Me." The laundry facilities are also noted as being "nice," adding another layer of convenience for both short-term and long-term guests. Although there isn't a dedicated "camp host" on site, the owners are highly responsive, responding to texts or calls "almost immediately" and processing check-ins "over the phone in minutes," demonstrating efficient and accessible customer service.
Nelson's Landing RV Park truly excels in its features, offering amenities that enhance the overall RV experience. The RV sites themselves are designed for comfort and ease of use. They are described as "level gravel" sites, which is crucial for effortless RV leveling upon arrival. The sites are also commendably "spacious," providing ample room for RVs and outdoor living. Each site is equipped with a fire pit, allowing campers to enjoy traditional campfire experiences, and a picnic table, perfect for outdoor dining and social gatherings. A particularly noteworthy feature mentioned by a reviewer is the inclusion of a "concrete patio" at each site. This addition provides a clean, stable, and comfortable outdoor living area, distinguishing Nelson's Landing from many other RV parks. Trash management is also well-addressed; despite an earlier misconception, there are clearly marked "trash containers in the storage building to the right of the entrance," ensuring a tidy park environment. The park's commitment to cleanliness is consistently highlighted in customer feedback, with residents appreciating the well-kept restrooms and overall tidiness of the grounds.
Promotional aspects of Nelson's Landing RV Park are strongly supported by the positive feedback from real customers. The ease of check-in, particularly for those just passing through, is a major selling point. The ability to "text owner" and be "checked in over the phone in minutes" showcases a modern and customer-centric approach, which is highly valued by travelers. The park also appeals to seasonal campers, with reviewers noting "reasonable seasonal rates," indicating it's a good option for those looking for a longer-term stay in the area. The quiet and respectful atmosphere fostered by "quiet and respectful resident campers" is another key promotional element, attracting those who prioritize a peaceful environment over boisterous activity. Furthermore, the park's proximity to recreational opportunities adds to its appeal. There is "great hiking right behind the park at Thrive!" This access to local trails offers a convenient way for campers to explore the natural surroundings and engage in outdoor activities without having to travel far from their site. While specific details on the "Thrive" hiking area are not provided, its mention by a satisfied customer suggests a valuable amenity for active campers. The overall impression is one of a well-managed, customer-focused RV park that delivers on its promises of cleanliness, convenience, and a pleasant environment, making it a highly recommendable choice when searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in the Nelson, WI area.

Apr 28, 2025 · Keith ConleyThis is a very clean and pleasant park to stay at. Seasonal rates were reasonable. Quiet and respectful resident campers, clean restrooms, no camp host but the owners respond to text or calls in a reasonable time. Trash containers are in the storage building to the right of the entrance. One review stated there weren't any. There are! Great hiking right behind the park at Thrive!
Oct 29, 2023 · Steve LittlejohnAbsolutely the most boring campground I've ever been to in my life with zero amenities on site not even garbage. The other camper patrons seem pissed off at life. Also not recommended for people with children, it's more like a retirement community so be quiet after 9pm or more like 5pm. The bath house looks as if the ventilation hasn't been cleaned in years and under construction the entire season. You have to check in a the Nelson Cheese Factory only to be treated poorly. BTW they don't make the cheese they sell!
Feb 14, 2025 · Truth WillwinA really nice RV park. Sites are not too close like some other RV parks. Very nice bathroom and shower area. Laundry room is in same building as bathroom and showers. Lots of sites. Very pretty views of the bluffs. Cute town with a few things to check out. Dog friendly with a dog park and a playground on site. We enjoyed our stay here!
Sep 12, 2021 · Ann CGreat place to camp. Full hookups at the sites. The only downside is the trains coming through town at all hours. But that hasn’t stopped me from going back.
