Apr 18, 2025 · Brooke HouppertMy wife and I were fortunate to call this RV park home for the past 3 ½ years, and it’s been an unforgettable experience. The park hosts, management, and staff are genuinely some of the best people we’ve ever met. They go above and beyond to create a welcoming and vibrant community, hosting a variety of events, parties, and potlucks that made sure there was never a dull moment during our stay. What truly sets this place apart is the kindness and support from the full-time residents, who were always ready to lend a hand or share advice. It’s rare to find a place where you feel such a strong sense of family, but that’s exactly what this park has been for us.Although our chapter of living here full-time has come to an end, we’re already looking forward to returning during the winters. This park will always be our second home, and the people here will always feel like family.

Dec 16, 2024 · Philip ZimmermanVery responsive. When I called to find out if there was room for me to come for a couple of nights as I would be attending a baby shower they were quick to get back to me and let me know exactly where I would be staying. Once I arrived late I found my spot easy and set up. Next morning I met them in their cute office to settle payment. They informed me there was ice for use and the code to get in the pool. To say I was excited about those two things was an understatement. Next I needed to do some laundry from the days travel it took me to get there and everything was in working order. As well as the bath house. Nice to take a shower sometimes that you can move around in and shave your legs. If you know you know. Everyone was super friendly and there were trees and a cute little pond to look at while walking my dog in the evening. Not to mention they had a dog park so thats a huge perk too. I will for sure be back. Hoping to make it for their solar eclipse event they are having.
Aug 17, 2023 · Renee WhiteWe had booked for a 1 night stay in this park, but on the way over our truck engine blew up causing us to arrive not only 1 day late but also having to stay for an 2 extra weeks until our engine was repaired.Elke, this parks host, made sure that our unscheduled stay was no issue at all and this really was a big relief for us as we were truly stuck, we had no vehicle, we didn't know anybody and we had no idea as to when our truck would be repaired?Right away when we arrived in the park, we got to know some residents and found out how nice and helpful people really are. There were 2 James in the park, the first James hooked onto and parked our trailer on our site as the Tow truck bringing us down was just too large to move around in the park. The second James came over as soon as we were settled in and offered to drive us to anywhere we needed to go?We did take him up on that offer and were very grateful and thankful for his kindness. It makes you feel good when people are so kind.Elke and her husband, James (2), Jon and Debby Forrester they all made sure that we were OK and taken care off.For us the name of this park was so appropriate as we truly were surrounded by "Good Friends".Someday we hope to get back to "Our Friends Campground".as it is a nice place to stay.Thank you all.Ben and Barbara Redegeld.
