Lakeside Manor & RV Park Introduce
For individuals seeking "RV Parks Near Me" in the Mora, Minnesota area, **Lakeside Manor & RV Park**, located at 1984 260th Ave, Mora, MN 55051, USA, appears as an option. However, based on recent customer reviews, it is essential to provide an objective introduction that includes significant concerns raised by past visitors. This park, while seemingly offering RV camping opportunities, has garnered feedback that prospective campers should carefully consider before making any commitments.
Regarding the **environment** at Lakeside Manor & RV Park, one customer described a highly unsettling experience. Upon attempting to fish at the dock, they encountered a "used dirty diaper," which they found "disgusting." This immediately raises concerns about the cleanliness and general upkeep of the common areas, particularly those intended for guest recreation. The same reviewer also noted a "stench in the air" at night, which they attributed to the owner "burning, dirty diapers." Such an account points to potentially severe issues with waste management and overall hygiene standards within the park. These observations suggest an environment that is not consistently maintained to a standard that promotes comfort or enjoyment for campers. While the name "Lakeside Manor" suggests a pleasant setting, the reported incidents directly contradict this expectation, indicating a potentially unsanitary and unpleasant atmosphere for some visitors.
Concerning the **services and features** offered at Lakeside Manor & RV Park, customer feedback highlights serious discrepancies and concerns. One review explicitly states a problem with pricing honesty: "Gives you one price for the year and then tells you its $320 a month to leave your camper there in the winter. So it's not $2,800 a year it's much more, not a very honest businessman." This indicates a potential issue with transparent pricing and contractual agreements, where the initial quoted annual rate does not include all associated costs, leading to unexpected additional charges. This lack of upfront clarity can be highly frustrating and costly for campers planning long-term stays. Furthermore, a critical service issue was raised regarding sewer connections: "He also does not help with the sewer like he promises some spots aren't set up for RVs so you have to do a lot of work to get them ready." This points to a failure in providing promised assistance and a lack of readiness in some RV sites, requiring significant effort from the camper to establish basic utility connections. The implication that "some spots aren't set up for RVs" is a fundamental concern for an RV park, suggesting inadequate infrastructure for its intended purpose. This directly impacts the ease of setup and the overall convenience for RV users.
The human element of **service and interaction with staff** also receives very negative commentary. The same reviewer who described the unpleasant environmental conditions characterized the owner as a "Very unfriendly man with missing teeth," expressing extreme dissatisfaction by stating, "I’m not happy about staying there, and never will again." This suggests a challenging interpersonal dynamic between management and guests, which can significantly detract from the camping experience, regardless of other amenities. The complaints about dishonesty regarding pricing and the lack of assistance with sewer connections further reinforce the perception of unhelpful or unreliable management. In an RV park setting, friendly and supportive staff are crucial for a positive experience, and these reviews indicate a severe deficiency in this area.
From a **promotional information** standpoint, any potential messaging for Lakeside Manor & RV Park would need to be critically viewed against the strong negative feedback. While a park's aim is typically to attract campers with promises of convenience and pleasant stays, the reviews present a stark contrast to such ideals. For those searching "RV Parks Near Me," it is imperative to note the expressed dissatisfaction with cleanliness, pricing transparency, site readiness, and the overall demeanor of the management. Potential visitors are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution. Before considering a stay, it would be prudent to thoroughly investigate all fees, confirm all promised services in writing, and perhaps visit the park in person to assess its current conditions and interact with management directly. Contacting the park at (320) 679-2408 or +1 320-679-2408 for inquiries would be necessary, but potential campers should prepare to ask very specific questions regarding pricing, utility setup assistance, and park rules. Given the severe nature of the complaints, this park appears to be one where potential visitors should proceed with extreme caution and due diligence before committing to a stay.

Lakeside Manor & RV Park Reviews
I am writing a review to share my experience at this RV campsite. The first day I got up late to the RV Center and went to the dock to fish and caught a used dirty diaper, disgusting. I noticed that night there was a stench in the air. From the owner burning, dirty diapers, and saw him with one on breaching his pants. He has little regard for those who camp there. Very unfriendly man with missing teeth. I’m not happy about staying there, and never will again.

Oct 09, 2023 · Tony HOwner is not nice. No public showers or bathrooms. No activities of any kind .He rented us a lot, then told people across the street they could park in front of our camper. so all we saw out our front window and slideout window was the back of their car. When we complained he told me "That's not the front of your camper that's the back." So I guess our camper is pulled from the back. He catered to 5 or 6 of the campers in his park the rest of us he treated like crap.
Sep 28, 2016 · Lee AndersonI hated this place because there's no room to stretch, no trees, and no nature paths and trails.
