Lakeside Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Buckeye Lake, Ohio area, Lakeside Manufactured Home Community, located at 4711 Walnut Rd, Buckeye Lake, OH 43008, USA, is primarily a mobile home community. While our platform focuses on "RV parks near me," it's important to consider nearby mobile home parks, especially for those who might be seeking longer-term RV living options. However, the available customer reviews for Lakeside Manufactured Home Community present starkly contrasting opinions, with one highly negative and detailed account standing against a brief positive statement. Potential residents, including RVers, should carefully weigh these perspectives and consider the significant concerns raised.
One detailed review strongly advises against living at Lakeside Manufactured Home Community. The reviewer lists several critical issues, starting with "terrible" water quality. This is a fundamental concern for any potential resident, including those in RVs, as access to clean and potable water is essential. The reviewer also describes the management as "terrible" and the roads within the park as "awful," suggesting potential problems with both the administrative aspects and the infrastructure of the community. Poor road conditions can be particularly problematic for RVs, which are often larger and less maneuverable than standard vehicles.
A significant financial concern raised by the negative review is the constant increase in lot rent without corresponding maintenance or improvements within the park. The reviewer states that lot rent has increased by over $100 in less than three years, attributing part of one increase to trash services. However, they argue that a "$20 INCREASE on just trash services isn't reasonable" based on their experience paying less at a new home. This suggests a potential issue with the value proposition of living in the community, where costs are rising without apparent benefits in terms of maintenance or services. For RVers considering long-term stays, the stability and justification of lot or site rental increases are important factors.
The negative review also highlights restrictive rules, such as a limit of two vehicles per lot, "even if you have four registered drivers living there." This could be a significant inconvenience for RVers traveling with multiple vehicles or those who have guests. Additionally, the reviewer points out that residents are expected to maintain their homes in "pristine condition" and are responsible for significant expenses typically associated with property management, including driveway repaving, addressing flooding on their lot, and maintaining trees on their lot, despite paying lot rent. This allocation of responsibility to residents, even for issues related to the land itself, is unusual and could be financially burdensome for both mobile home owners and potentially long-term RV residents.
In stark contrast to this detailed negative review, another customer simply states, "I like it." This brief positive comment offers a different perspective but lacks any specific details about what the reviewer appreciates about living in Lakeside Manufactured Home Community. Without further context, it is difficult to reconcile this positive sentiment with the numerous and serious concerns raised in the more comprehensive negative review. It is possible that different residents have varying experiences or priorities, or that there have been changes in the park over time.
To determine if Lakeside Manufactured Home Community accommodates recreational vehicles and to understand the specifics relevant to RV stays, direct contact with the park management is necessary. Inquiring at (614) 551-0596 or +1 614-551-0596 would provide essential information such as:
- Availability of RV sites and the sizes they can accommodate.
- Types of hookups offered at RV sites (e.g., water, electricity – amperage, sewer).
- Rates for daily, weekly, or monthly RV stays and any associated fees.
- Information about the quality of the water supply for RV use.
- The condition of the roads and accessibility for RVs within the park.
- Rules regarding vehicle parking for RV guests.
- Expectations for the maintenance of RV sites.
- Availability of amenities for RV guests (e.g., restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, dump station).
- Pet policies for RV owners.
- Any specific rules or regulations for RV guests within this mobile home community.
Given the significant concerns raised in the detailed negative review, potential RVers should approach any inquiries with caution and be prepared to thoroughly assess the conditions and policies firsthand if considering a stay. Issues such as poor water quality, inadequate maintenance, and unexpected financial responsibilities could severely impact the quality of living for RV travelers, especially those considering a longer-term arrangement.
Currently, there is no promotional information available for Lakeside Manufactured Home Community in the provided text. Those interested in potential long-term RV stays should inquire about any specific rates or incentives for extended stays when contacting the park management. However, this should be balanced against the potential drawbacks highlighted in the negative review, such as increasing costs without corresponding improvements.
In conclusion, Lakeside Manufactured Home Community presents a situation with starkly contrasting customer feedback. While one reviewer expresses a positive sentiment without detail, another provides a comprehensive list of significant concerns regarding water quality, management, infrastructure, rising costs, and restrictive rules. For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" in the Buckeye Lake, OH area, it is imperative to contact the park management directly to inquire about RV accommodations and policies. However, potential residents should be aware of the serious issues raised in the negative review and carefully weigh these against the brief positive comment before making any decisions. Thorough investigation and potentially visiting the park to assess the conditions firsthand would be prudent to ensure a satisfactory living experience.

Lakeside Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Would not recommend living here at all. The water is terrible. Management is terrible. Roads are awful. Lot rent constantly goes up, yet there is no maintenance done in the park. You can only have two vehicles even if you have four registered drivers living there. You have to maintain your home in pristine condition, you are responsible for the driveway and repaving, the flooding on your lot and trees on your lot, even though you pay lot rent. Which by the way gets increased all the time. In less than three years lot rent was raised over $100. They attributed some of the raise to trash services but a $20 INCREASE on just trash services isn't reasonable when I pay less than $15 a month at my new home.
