Lakeside Village Mobile Home Community Introduce
While the platform category focuses on "RV parks near me," the information provided is about Lakeside Village Mobile Home Community, situated at 3110 Turner Rd SE, Salem, OR 97302, USA. They can be contacted at (503) 378-0464 or +1 503-378-0464. It's important to clarify that a mobile home community primarily offers long-term residency for manufactured homes, which differs from the short-term nature of typical RV parks. However, some mobile home communities might accommodate RVs for extended periods, making them a potential consideration for individuals seeking long-term stays in the Salem area who are browsing "RV parks near me."
The available customer reviews for Lakeside Village Mobile Home Community present a concerning picture for potential residents, whether in mobile homes or potentially as long-term RV occupants. One review highlights a significant issue with the increasing cost of living, stating that "the rent in Lakeside Village has become so high they are pricing residents out of their homes." This suggests a potential lack of affordability, especially when considering the dual costs associated with mobile home living: the price of the home itself and the space rental fee. The reviewer explicitly claims that "the cost to lease at Lakeside Village is one of the highest in the state of Oregon" and that "the price now for what you are receiving for the associated amenities is too high." This raises serious questions about the value proposition of residing in this community.
Adding to these concerns, the same review points a finger at the ownership group, Cal-AM, stating, "Avoid that ownership group if you are looking for manufactured homes or mobile homes to live in they only care about their bottom line not the residents of the community." This is a strong indictment of the management's priorities and suggests a potential disregard for the well-being and financial stability of the residents. While the review does note that "they do finally have a manager that's lasted more than a year," this positive aspect appears to be overshadowed by the overarching issues related to cost and ownership.
Another review from a resident who moved to Lakeside Village four years prior paints an even more negative trajectory, stating that the community "has drastically gone DOWN HILL!!" and expressing a desire to move. This suggests a decline in the quality of living or management over time. A specific complaint is that the "hot tub (1of our amenities) been down for over a year," indicating a failure to maintain promised facilities. The reviewer also recounts overhearing the landlord stating that "he doesn't work for the residents, it's all about corporate," which aligns with the other review's criticism of the ownership group's focus on profit over resident satisfaction. This resident concludes by stating that a neighboring park is "100xs better" and expresses a strong desire to move there.
Based on these two reviews, it is difficult to ascertain positive aspects regarding the environment, services, or features of Lakeside Village Mobile Home Community. The recurring themes are high and increasing rent, a perceived lack of value for the cost, poorly maintained amenities (specifically a non-functional hot tub for over a year), and a management seemingly prioritizing corporate interests over the residents' needs. The environment is not described in detail, but the lack of upkeep on amenities suggests a potential decline in the overall quality of the community's physical space as well.
Information regarding specific services beyond the mentioned hot tub is absent. There is no mention of other potential amenities such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, community centers, pet policies, or any services that might be offered to residents. Similarly, there is no information about the layout of the community, the types of spaces available for mobile homes or potential long-term RVs, or the general aesthetic of the area. Given the focus on negative aspects in the reviews, it is challenging to paint a comprehensive picture of the community's offerings.
Unsurprisingly, in light of the negative feedback concerning cost and management, there is no mention of any promotional information or special offers for Lakeside Village Mobile Home Community in the provided reviews. Potential residents or long-term RV occupants would need to contact the management directly to inquire about current rental rates, lease terms, security deposits, and any potential incentives. However, given the strong negative sentiment expressed in the reviews regarding the ownership's focus on profit, it is uncertain whether any truly resident-friendly promotions would be available.
For local users in Salem, Oregon, searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering a longer-term stay and are open to exploring mobile home communities, the feedback for Lakeside Village Mobile Home Community raises significant red flags. The consistent complaints about high rent, declining conditions, and a perceived lack of concern for residents by the ownership group should give pause to any potential newcomers. While it is possible that some aspects of the community might be satisfactory, the overwhelmingly negative sentiment in the available reviews suggests a need for extreme caution and thorough investigation before considering residency here, whether in a mobile home or a long-term RV. It would be highly advisable to explore other options in the Salem area that have received more positive and less concerning feedback regarding cost, management, and the upkeep of amenities.
In conclusion, the limited information available for Lakeside Village Mobile Home Community paints a concerning picture characterized by high and rising rent, poorly maintained amenities, and a perceived lack of focus on resident well-being by the ownership group. For local users seeking "RV parks near me" for extended stays or considering mobile home living in Salem, Oregon, the strong negative feedback in the customer reviews warrants significant caution and encourages a thorough exploration of alternative communities with more positive reputations.

Lakeside Village Mobile Home Community Reviews
The rent in Lakeside Village has become so high they are pricing residents out of their homes. The cost to live in a mobile home is two fold, the price of the home and the lease space for it. The cost to lease at Lakeside Village is one of the highest in the state of Oregon. The price now for what you are receiving for the associated amenities is too high. They do finally have a manager that's lasted more than a year. It's really the fault of ownership group Cal-AM. Avoid that ownership group if you are looking for manufactured homes or mobile homes to live in they only care about their bottom line not the residents of the community.
Apr 21, 2025 · Art BensonMoved here 4yrs ago and has drastically gone DOWN HILL!! Counting the days until we can move. Hot tub (1of our amenities) been down for over a year. I over heard landlord tell people he doesn't work for the residents, it's all about corporate. Considering the park next to us 100xs better I'd easily move there.
Apr 16, 2025 · Tricia FaheyMy experience has been nothing short of amazing from the day we came to look at homes. Kimberly Sanchez was, is, and will always be the most amazing salesperson I have ever worked with. She was super supportive during the most difficult time in my life and I will always be so grateful and thankful for her kindness and compassion. The office staff have always been so helpful. The community is always so clean and welcoming. I love it here and look forward to the same experience from now on. Thank you to everyone!
Nov 30, 2024 · Alicia JenningsQuiet and safe. I love living here. I wish it cist less, but nothing is inexpensive anymore. All of my neighbors are respectful and quiet. No complaints from me. No bums diging through my garbage or recycling, theft does not happen. Not perfect but Good.
Apr 15, 2025 · Vanessa ClutterWe've gone through a lot of staff since I've lived here. Joel, Julia and Kim are the best we've had. They go out of their way to make sure the residents are happy. And the park is improving every day. I just wish the company would do more to keep the maintenance crew happy
