Little River RV Campground Introduce
For local users in the Moss Point, Mississippi area who are searching for "RV parks near me," Little River RV Campground, located at 3100-3206 Dumas Rd, Moss Point, MS 39562, presents a setting described by some as "great" and "cozy" for relaxation. To inquire about availability and specific details, you can contact them at (228) 334-1643 or +1 228-334-1643.
One reviewer highlights a positive aspect of the community, noting that "everyone is friendly and watches each other's home." This suggests a strong sense of neighborly support and a potentially secure environment where residents look out for one another. This communal aspect can be particularly appealing to RVers seeking a welcoming and safe place to stay, especially for longer durations.
However, the reviews also point out several areas that may be of concern to potential visitors. One significant issue raised is the poor condition of the roads within the area of the campground, with the reviewer stating that the "area has too many very large pot holes and needs paving or gravel badly." This could impact the ease of maneuvering RVs within the park and the overall comfort of the stay. Prospective visitors may want to inquire about the specific road conditions within the campground itself.
Another area for potential improvement mentioned is the need for upgrades to the campground's amenities. The reviewer does not specify which amenities require attention, but this suggests that some facilities might be outdated or not functioning optimally. RV travelers often rely on campground amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and recreational areas, so inquiring about the current state of these would be advisable.
The landscaping of Little River RV Campground is also noted as needing improvement, with a suggestion to "get a boost to beautify the park." While the aesthetic appeal of a campground can contribute to the overall enjoyment of the stay, this might be a less critical factor for some RVers compared to the functionality of essential amenities and the condition of the grounds.
Another reviewer provides a more critical perspective, stating that the campground is "not kept up" and that the "wifi is terrible." The lack of reliable internet connectivity can be a significant drawback for many travelers who need to stay connected for work or personal reasons. This reviewer also mentions that pets are allowed "on leash n that's it," which provides some information for pet owners but might also imply a lack of dedicated pet areas or other pet-friendly amenities.
This same reviewer notes that there are "lots of perm trailers" and describes it as a "very old" park. This reinforces the idea of a significant long-term resident population, which, as mentioned earlier, can contribute to a sense of community but might also affect the availability of short-term sites and the overall infrastructure of the park. The reviewer also offers a somewhat ambivalent assessment, calling it a "good place to stay till you find another park," suggesting it might serve as a temporary solution rather than a long-term destination for some.
On a more practical note, this reviewer mentions the monthly rate as "$430," providing valuable information for those seeking extended stays in the Moss Point area. This price point could be competitive depending on the amenities and overall quality of other RV parks in the vicinity. However, potential long-term residents should weigh this cost against the reported shortcomings in maintenance, amenities, and infrastructure.
Based on the limited information, specific services and features of Little River RV Campground are not extensively detailed. The mention of the need for amenity upgrades suggests that basic services like water and electrical hookups are likely available, but their reliability and capacity are not discussed. Information regarding sewage disposal, the availability and condition of restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, or recreational areas is also absent.
The environment appears to be a mix of a friendly, community-oriented atmosphere and a park that is showing its age and in need of maintenance. The "cozy setting" mentioned by one reviewer might be appealing to some, but the concerns about potholes and landscaping suggest that the overall aesthetic could be improved. The presence of many permanent trailers could contribute to the community feel but might also indicate a less transient-focused park.
Promotional information is not included in the provided customer reviews. Therefore, local users interested in Little River RV Campground should contact them directly at (228) 334-1643 or +1 228-334-1643 to inquire about current rates (both daily and monthly), availability, specific amenities offered (including hookup types, restroom/shower facilities, laundry, wifi), pet policies, and any ongoing efforts to address the reported issues with roads and overall maintenance. Asking about the average age of the permanent trailers and the general upkeep of the park might also provide a clearer picture for prospective visitors.
In conclusion, for local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Moss Point, Mississippi, Little River RV Campground offers a potentially friendly and cozy setting with a strong sense of community. However, the available reviews also highlight significant concerns regarding road conditions, the need for amenity upgrades, and issues with wifi and overall maintenance. While the monthly rate of $430 might be attractive for long-term stays, potential visitors should carefully weigh these factors and contact the park directly to gather more detailed and up-to-date information about the services, features, and current conditions to determine if Little River RV Campground meets their specific needs and expectations.

Great cozy setting to relax and enjoy your evening. Everyone is friendly and watches each other's home. Area has too many very large pot holes and needs paving or gravel badly. Upgrades needed to their amenities. Landscaping needs to get a boost to beautify the park.

Feb 15, 2023 · vincent QuarciniWe were greeted by beer bottle buddies who failed to tell us about the mud hole we were about to pull through. We thought we checked into the Bates Motel RV, but it turned out it was just a bunch of hippies having a good time. Our mistake was landing in the dark.Ripped hole in my under part of the nose and opened like a can opener when trying to turn a sharp right turn into RV Park
Nov 25, 2018 · Lilyan KahnIt is a hell of a place to spend the bar and we enjoyed I have a few drinks after night. And I never did figure out where I got this boat from but I like it that was two years ago are you there and I wanted a back k would say something
May 27, 2020 · Wesley MerrittIt is an rv park for long term stays for blue collar workers, not weekenders like us. No bath house or amenities on site. There is a BAR & grill at the landing that serves lots of bar drinks and a litte food. Not family friendly.
