Little Thicket RV Park Introduce
For local users seeking "RV parks near me" in La Marque, Texas, Little Thicket RV Park, located at 408 Volney St, La Marque, TX 77568, USA, presents a complex picture based on recent customer reviews. While one reviewer expresses a positive experience, another details significant issues regarding maintenance, cleanliness, and perceived unprofessional behavior. It is crucial for prospective guests to consider both perspectives when evaluating this RV park for their needs.
One reviewer described Little Thicket RV Park as a place they "Love," highlighting its "Quiet Cozy affordable" nature. This positive feedback also praised the "Excellent management" and noted that the park is "very dog Friendly." Additionally, this reviewer mentioned the availability of on-site amenities such as a "Washateria, Pool, Showers and Restrooms." They further commented on the friendly community atmosphere, stating that "Tennant's are very Friendly and extremely helpful if you need anything" and concluded by saying, "They've got a quiet cozy space just for you." This review paints a picture of an affordable, pet-friendly park with a welcoming community and essential amenities.
However, a starkly contrasting review details a significantly negative experience at Little Thicket RV Park. This reviewer began by recounting an incident where the "maintenance guy (dont know his name) ... proceeded to scratch the camper top on the tree next to our lot" while assisting with parking. This suggests a lack of caution or experience in maneuvering RVs within the park, potentially leading to property damage for guests.
The negative review further described an unsettling encounter involving the same maintenance person, who allegedly entered the bathroom while the reviewer was inside, despite being told twice by the reviewer's boyfriend not to open the door. This behavior was described as "Perv" and raises serious concerns about the respect for guest privacy within the park.
Cleanliness of the facilities was another major point of criticism in the negative review. The reviewer stated that "Their bathroom facilities were absolutely nasty and dirty, and bathrooms were NEVER clean, with no toilet paper, no paper towel, or hand dryer. OR EVEN SOAP!!" This lack of essential hygiene supplies and the reported uncleanliness of the bathrooms would be a significant deterrent for many potential guests. The reviewer also mentioned signs instructing guests to clean up after themselves, commenting on the impracticality of this when the facilities were allegedly never clean to begin with and lacked cleaning supplies.
The condition of the pool was also criticized, with the reviewer stating it was "not clean, constantly filthy, and left to rot." This suggests a lack of proper maintenance for this amenity, potentially rendering it unusable for guests. The reviewer also noted a confusing and "suspicious" interaction with the same maintenance person regarding the pool's operational status, where he allegedly gave conflicting information to the male and female members of the party.
Considering these two very different accounts, local users searching for "RV parks near me" will need to weigh the potential benefits highlighted in the positive review – affordability, a quiet and cozy atmosphere, dog-friendliness, and a sense of community – against the serious concerns raised in the negative review regarding maintenance, privacy, cleanliness of facilities, and the condition of the pool. The conflicting information about the pool's status also introduces an element of uncertainty about the reliability of information provided by park staff.
Given the limited information beyond these two reviews, it is difficult to provide a comprehensive overview of all services and features definitively offered at Little Thicket RV Park. The positive review mentions a washateria, pool, showers, and restrooms, suggesting these amenities are available. However, the negative review casts doubt on the cleanliness and functionality of at least the restrooms and the pool.
There is no promotional information available in the provided data. Therefore, local users interested in potential discounts, special offers, or long-term rates would need to contact Little Thicket RV Park directly at (409) 935-5375 or +1 409-935-5375 to inquire.
For local users actively searching for "RV parks near me" in La Marque, Little Thicket RV Park presents a situation requiring careful consideration. The affordability and dog-friendly policy mentioned in one review could be attractive to some. However, the serious allegations of property damage, privacy invasion, and the reported lack of cleanliness and maintenance in the other review are significant red flags that should not be ignored. Prospective guests are strongly advised to contact the park management to address the concerns raised in the negative review and to inquire about the current condition and maintenance protocols for the facilities. It might also be beneficial to seek more recent reviews from other guests to get a broader understanding of the current state of Little Thicket RV Park before making a booking decision.
In conclusion, Little Thicket RV Park offers a potentially affordable and dog-friendly option for those seeking "RV parks near me" in La Marque, Texas. However, recent reviews present a stark contrast in experiences, with significant concerns raised about maintenance, cleanliness, privacy, and the condition of amenities. Local users should proceed with caution, conduct thorough due diligence by contacting the park management and seeking additional reviews, and potentially consider visiting the park in person to assess whether it meets their standards and expectations before committing to a stay.

Little Thicket RV Park Reviews
Awful experience! The maintenance guy (dont know his name) helped us park the rv but proceeded to scratch the camper top on the tree next to our lot. SighThen he was inside to help us problem solve why the fridge wasn't working and thought it would be a good idea to open the bathroom door AFTER my boyfriend told him I was in the bathroom and to not open the door TWICE, while I was doing my duty in there!!! PervTheir bathroom facilities were absolutely nasty and dirty, and bathrooms were NEVER clean, with no toilet paper, no paper towel, or hand dryer. OR EVEN SOAP!! The signs say to clean up after yourself because shes not the housekeeper or "your mom" (news flash, it's YOUR BUILDING, you should be at least keep it clean), AND how can we clean up what was never cleaned in the first place from everbody before me? No cleaning supplies, etc, to do so. I would have just for other peoples sake. Never went back in there again.Pool is not clean, constantly filthy, and left to rot. This same man told my boyfriend the pool wasn't working, but proceeded to tell ME (a female) that the pool was open and working... suspicious as heck! Never will return!

Jul 19, 2023 · Anthony TerrandoThe entrance is nice. Very Country feel to it. The office lady was delightful to talk to and lot priced is good. Sadly very trashy. Grounds not maintained. Sites are not full concrete or grass. Broken concrete and gravel. Disappointed too because I think it has a lot of great features/potential and my family would have liked it there.
Nov 20, 2020 · Tisha BurchfieldStaff is great, I have lived here for 8 years, but they need to stop advertising free internet. I get internet, maybe once a day.
Jul 10, 2024 · Billy DunnDONT STAY HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This place was a rip off. I was down in that area for a contract to work. They charged me a huge deposit and first months rent. My contract fell through by no fault of my own after a few days and they refused to refund my deposit or my remainder of the months rent. It is also an unkempt place and not in a very nice area. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Right is right, and they owe me money. If I could give this place a zero I would.
