Llano City Rv Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the scenic Llano, Texas area, Llano City RV Park, situated at 100 Robinson Park Dr, Llano, TX 78643, USA, offers a potentially attractive location along the river with several amenities. However, recent customer reviews present a mixed picture, highlighting both the natural beauty and some significant concerns regarding the park's management and maintenance. Potential visitors should carefully consider these aspects to determine if Llano City RV Park aligns with their needs and expectations.
One reviewer who reportedly lived at the park for a year described it as a "pretty park river" with a "nice playground" and a "pool." These features suggest a potentially enjoyable environment, especially for families or those who appreciate recreational activities. The riverside location is also noted as a positive aspect, likely offering scenic views and opportunities for water-related activities. The presence of a playground indicates that the park is intended to be family-friendly.
However, this same long-term resident raised several serious concerns. They stated that the pool "needs to be cleaned more" and that the "Rest rooms, never are, look like its been years." These comments point to significant issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of key facilities within the park, which could greatly detract from the overall guest experience. Poorly maintained restrooms, in particular, can be a major inconvenience and a health concern for visitors.
The reviewer also expressed dissatisfaction with the park's management, suggesting that "all they care about is the city and how much money they make." They echoed sentiments from other posts about a "park.host difficult, old, can't handle much." This paints a picture of potentially unhelpful or incapable management, which could lead to frustration for residents and short-term visitors alike. The reviewer's personal experience with rent payments and disagreements with the management further supports this negative assessment.
Specifically, the reviewer recounted an incident where an agreed-upon temporary adjustment to rent due to a hospital stay was allegedly forgotten by the management, leading to anger and ultimately a request for the reviewer to leave. This suggests a lack of organization, poor communication, and potentially unfair treatment of residents. Another instance involved a dispute over leftover prepaid rent when the reviewer considered changing their stay duration, again resulting in management anger and a negative interaction.
The long-term resident also mentioned other issues contributing to a less-than-ideal living environment, including the park being "loud alot traffik in and out" and problematic neighbors, with noise emanating from the pool and events. These factors could detract from the peaceful enjoyment of the park, especially for those seeking a quiet retreat.
Furthermore, the reviewer alleged favoritism in the enforcement of park rules, with some residents being allowed to maintain messy sites while others were not. They also reported a rent increase that they were not directly informed about, learning of it from other residents. Neglect of grass maintenance was another concern, with the reviewer and neighbors reportedly taking pictures of the issue. An incident involving the alleged cruel treatment of abandoned cats also paints a negative picture of the park's overall environment and the compassion of those in charge.
Finally, the long-term resident criticized the park's infrastructure, stating that "Park walks, pavements, need work not just when having an event." They also questioned the cleanliness of the pool during busy periods, suggesting a lack of proper maintenance. The overall impression from this detailed review is one of a park with a potentially attractive location and some amenities that are undermined by poor management, inadequate maintenance, and a lack of consideration for residents.
In contrast to this negative account, another reviewer who stayed for two nights in late June had a much more positive experience. They described it as a "Beautiful spot to camp out" located by the river. This reviewer highlighted the availability of "Bathrooms with sinks and showers," a "Swimming pool with lifeguards," and the allowance of swimming and fishing in the river, where they reportedly caught catfish and crawfish and observed various wildlife, including turtles, gar, ducks, geese, and one snake. The presence of "Plenty of trees for shade" and "Barbeque pits and benches throughout" were also noted as positive features. The reviewer also enjoyed the clear night skies, allowing for stargazing.
This short-term visitor mentioned that the park was not crowded during their stay, providing a "peaceful quiet area." They also noted the budget-friendly cost of $7 per person per night, with no charge for their dog. Payment was made at an office located by the entrance. This review suggests that for a short camping trip, particularly when the park is not busy, the riverside location, natural beauty, and basic amenities can be appealing and affordable.
Considering these two very different perspectives, Llano City RV Park appears to offer a potentially beautiful riverside setting with amenities like a pool and playground. The cost for short-term stays can also be quite affordable. However, there are significant concerns raised by a long-term resident regarding the cleanliness of facilities, the competence and fairness of the management, noise levels, and the overall maintenance of the park. These issues could severely impact the quality of life for long-term residents and the experience of short-term visitors, especially during busier times.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Llano, Texas, Llano City RV Park presents a dilemma. The attractive location and some of the advertised amenities might be appealing. However, the serious allegations of poor management, inadequate cleanliness, and other negative aspects from a long-term resident cannot be ignored. Potential visitors should weigh the positive aspects of the location and potential affordability against the significant drawbacks reported. It would be prudent to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers, (325) 247-7905 or +1 325-247-7905, to inquire about the current conditions, management practices, and any recent improvements. Reading more recent reviews from various sources might also provide a more balanced and up-to-date understanding of the park before making a decision.
In conclusion, Llano City RV Park offers a riverside location with amenities like a pool and playground, and potentially affordable rates for short stays. However, significant concerns have been raised about the cleanliness of facilities, the professionalism and fairness of the management, noise levels, and overall maintenance. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully consider these contrasting reports and conduct further research before choosing to stay at Llano City RV Park.

Llano City Rv Park Reviews
I lived here for a year , pretty park river, nice playground , pool., needs to be cleaned more . Rest rooms, never are , look like its been years. Sad, all they care about is the city and how much money they make. Like other post park.host difficult , old , can't handle much, if pay on time no issues , can be ok. Very forgetful, not their job alot . My rent, I had to get aid after in and out of hospital. They agreed ok a day or two off, from rent dues . They forgot , they got mad. Paid ahead, till Friday this week , decided to go week to week, not sure want to stay. Paid on friday, they kept leftover money, can't add or greedy. They again, got mad. I asked about it. Now being ask to leave ????? I'm sure covid , nation losing all now , rent high prices, having issues , must have problems , not a huge reason to leave, being inconvenience for their jobs a few times , all agreed ahead of time, can pay day per day. As was speaking with the lady. She was ok , cant remember much , do much, he always gets mad, interferes, time to retire. Other than that park can be loud alot traffik in and out. Neighbors can be , pool, events , traffikAgain, .no reason to be ask to leave. Not abuse drinking, not pay rent , really late. All time or unclean or loud alot. Many reason some ask to leave, all to coveinence them. Also, plays favoritism. Some can keep messy places, some can't. Raised rent, didn't inform me, few others told me , not told of change. Thats a reason to be kicked out, them. Grass neglect . Neighborsand I took pictures by trailers. Made fuss over feeding cats, left them there no food water. Very cruel. Neighbors moved crying upset. Need new people , can do jobs be compassinate. handle a job. Then just one check that day, anything else so upsetting to them. Rental places get sued, complaints , fight all kind pay issues , at alot places apt etc. Spoiled enetitled, sad take a job, be able to do it. Park walks , pavements, need work not just when having an event. So alot work, if pay attention, more than a weekend. Last year pool if cleaned, very busy events, do you shock it ?? food at bottom alot. Don't want to have to work at all, lazy unprofessional, take responsibility and anger management. Also, should'nt have .to worry or deal with their bulling or abuse.
Aug 06, 2024 · L WWe stayed two nights in late June. Beautiful spot to camp out. Located by the river. Bathrooms with sinks and showers available. Swimming pool with lifeguards. Swimming and fishing allowed in the river. We caught some catfish and crawfish. We spotted turtles and gar. Ducks and geese swimming around. One snake spotted swimming around. Not a lot of people when we were there so we had a peaceful quiet area to ourselves both nights. Plenty of trees for shade. Barbeque pits and benches throughout. The stars at night were clearly visible so we were able to spot satellites and meteors. Recommend this camp out location we found by accident. Cost was $7 per person per night... No charge for my doggy. Pay at the office located by the entrance.
Jun 30, 2020 · Mongoose - Backyard CamperThis RV park is AMAZING! The people that live there are so nice! And the park is right on the beautiful llano River and the park is perfect for children of all ages!
Jan 31, 2021 · Matthew HoffmanBeautiful little city park. The hosts are lovely! So kind and thoughtful! We had rv issues and she took the time to just let me vent. 😂Llano is a beautiful small town with awesome people and bbq.Two things we didn’t like were1: stickers everywhere. Dogs were picking their paws. Felt SO bad2: Too many “permanent” guests. One trailer even had a tarp over the top - for leak issues. Just makes you rethink your stay. And finally, I believe $40 for a city park is a little high. We did have full hookups so I won’t complain too much about the $40 price.Sorry forgot to take pics. Basic packed rock pad. Level - fairly. So would we stay again - if we came through possibly. Might look elsewhere.
Oct 21, 2023 · Paul Sally CrouserWe have been staying here for almost 5 months now and Mrs. Faye and her husband have been absolutely amazing and considerate. Not to mention our neighbors are very friendly and respectful of our space as well. What was supposed to be less than 3 month stay has turned longer. They have been nothing but welcoming to our family. We have stayed at so many rv parks and resorts all over the country and this is top 2 because of the privacy and safety we feel here. Place is well kept with plenty of parking and on site laundry not to mention right next to the river for a good walk. Great place to stay.
